With all the great reviews, I had to try this place out and so I did. Â However, I am going to say this right away, I was very disappointed. Â First of all, the service was a little less than average at best. Â The waitress who was apparently also the bartender was very slow with the drink orders and seemed constantly in a hurry for the most part (which was understandable if she really was bar-tending at the same time). Â I can take busy for an excuse to a certain extent. Â
When the orders were placed, the person in the kitchen completely overlooked my order and I ended up sitting on the table with nothing but my friend didn't want to eat the crab cakes in front of me. Â So, the waitress took the food back and zapped it a little I suppose until mine was ready. Â The crab cakes were pretty tiny, we started calling it baby-sized crab cakes but was told by my friend that it tasted fine. Â I ordered the baby New Zealand lamb chops and they weren't joking when they said "baby" because they really were infant-sized (perhaps one big bite or two if you cut it) and additionally, they had forgotten all about my Dolmas that were supposed to come with it and instead replaced it with a very small portion of sauteed vegetables on the corner of the plate without asking or informing me. Â It tasted okay and since it took a while to get my order to begin with, we didn't bother telling them that it was messed up again. Â We ended up ordering a 13" pizza because we were still hungry and got more sangria. Â The sangria were very refreshing though but again, we had to wait for a while to get another round.
Not sure if I'll come back. Â I have a friend who seems to really like this place so I might eventually end up here but I would prefer not to.
