I've been wanting to stop into this bar since 2004 when I first got to St Louis and saw this peculiar little building amidst the quiet neighborhood just off 55 and Weber Rd. Â Finally got the opportunity a couple weeks ago and have been back since.
Classic south city neighborhood bar. Â Wednesday is the best day for buckets of ice cold beer @ $8 and all shots and mixed drinks discounted by $1. Great deal? Â All day, everyday $2 A-B bottles.
They serve TJ's pizza if you're hungry and there is electronic Bags/Lawn Darts and Golden Tee up front and about 12 soft-tip dart boards in the backroom.
Smoking permitted.
The old bar features dozens of old tube-type televisions and a couple of plasmas for your sporting needs and they have Keno.
All in all, the atmosphere was very friendly considering that a group of strangers walked in and invaded their club. Â There is even a sign on the door (handwritten) that basically says "if your drawers are sagging, you're not welcome". Â Love it! Â Just sayin'!
