The Scottish Arms

Nice cozy place with a great selection of scotch and UK beer (in addition to local, etc.). I also enjoyed the food. Having studied abroad in London, I was happy to see some beers on draught that I don't usually see, like Fuller's London Pride Ale.

They also have great drink specials. Thursday night is discounts on all Single Malts. Great for trying those scotches you wouldn't otherwise splurge on.

Lighting and ambiance was SO refreshing for what could have been a more a pub like experience. The food was ABSOLUTELY  delicious! The whiskey options were fabulous and vast! What seemed like the restaurant manager (Michael or mike?) gave us an extensive explanation on our whiskey flight and he was very informative and helpful! I know way more about wine than I do whiskey so his info was greatly appreciated! The cheese plate was fabulous and flavorful! The fish and chips was finger licking good and was very large in portion sizes so I shared with my boyfriend! I can't say enough good things about this place! Can't wait to go back!

In a STL neighborhood that has its share of pretty decent restaurants Scottish Arms more than holds its own. A fine selection of beer and whisky, and a menu that offers enough variety and twists for almost any diner. From haggis to burgers. Charcuterie and cheese to Tilkka Masala. The service is casual and friendly, which describes the ambiance as well. A winner in the park area.
