Milo's Tavern

It is what it is.. Milo's is a casual bar and restaurant . I may be bias since I visit here quite a bit.
Drinks: Great beer selection and full bar. Come in the evening to drink and you have bartenders that really know how to make great shots.
Food: Pizza, Hot Sandwiches, Pasta, Salad. The sandwiches are served with chips. Fries are awesome.. especially cheese fries.
Pizza's are St Louis style thin with provel cheese.
This is a great place to have a private party, the back room which used to be full of games now has additional dining space. This being said if you are coming for dinner and it's a beautiful day you may end up having to wait for a table. Many Friday and Saturday nights the entire backroom is being used for reunions, birthdays etc.
They are closed on Sunday but will entertain opening for a special event if it's worth it.
If you want to play bocce in the garden you need to play in the afternoon or during the weekend. Monday through Thursday evening there is league play.

Friends of ours had their backroom reserved for a birthday party and we joined them for a few hours of celebrating.  There was a small food buffet available, as well as unlimited drinks from the bar.  Plenty of tvs to keep entertained, as well as bocce ball garden outside.

Milo's is a great place. It's understated and looks like you'd expect (and want) most bar and grills to look. I'd not call it a dive like some of the more negative reviews here. It's just a normal, unassuming place.  Lots of regulars there, tends to skew a little older -- I personally have no problem with that.

The staff is all nice and attentive. I've always had a good experience. The food I've had has been great too -- the steak sandwich hit the spot, the burgers (on cheese garlic bread if you want!) are excellent and, surprisingly, cooked exactly how you ask.

The best part in all of this is the specials. Some of the daily food ones are great and are just good deals. The Blues special they have running right now is wonderful -- 25 cent wings during any Blues game. You can't go wrong there and it doesn't hurt that they have, in my opinion, some of the best wings out there (fried or grilled).

Totally worth the time. If you play your cards right, you'll be surprised by how little you spend and how much fun you have. I can't speak for the outdoor area, but even when it's cold out there's people doing bocce back there.
