Visited on a Tuesday eve...Happy Hour all day, what more can you ask for except $3 drinks.  As a meal, I ordered the Philly Horseshoe.  I had never had this type of dish before and it was pretty good.  The philly meat was your typical shaved beef. The fries were shoestring and the cheese on top meshed well with the dish.  It was pretty empty upstairs..most of the folks were downstairs on the Hookah.  Now, I didn't go downstairs, so can't speak on the Hookah experience, but I hear it's cool.

Just got home from this hookah bar. I loved the basement atmosphere and the music was great not too loud. However, it was cold the entire time. There was definitely a draft. We were greeted by a yelling manager. He was not hospitable at all. He wouldn't let us arrange furniture or do much of anything. It was overpriced for sure. I have been to over 4 different hookah bars in St. Louis and this by far was the worst. The little stools they give you are for 5 year olds. Never going back

We had another great experience at the Horseshoe House. Again, we did not eat, but we came for the half priced drinks all night long.

Our server was only 18... which is weird, and possibly illegal for her to serve alcohol, so she needed a little guidance when we ordered shots, cocktails, etc. But she was super sweet and attentive.

At one point we decided we weren't feeling the music so the bartender plugged in one of our iPods and played our music (swear words and all) for the remainder of the evening. Good times!
