Pi Pizza was the first pizza I ever had in St. Louis. It was the first place my bf took me when we came to visit. I can still remember how empty the loop was on a Sunday October afternoon and how freaken delicious the pizza was!!
I have had both the deep dish and the thin crust pizza. I am a deep dish fan for sure. I love the crust, I love the tomato sauce, I love it all. I even love it the day after and the day after that cold or hot! Â The thin crust is good but not great. I feel like the crust had a funny taste, (not quite pizza-y) or maybe that is what it is supposed to taste like.
I have eaten at this location the most since it is right down the street from me. The service is always great and the atmosphere is always energetic. Overall I have always been happy with both food and service at Pi and will continue to eat here!
I love Pi. Â We make a point to visit at least one of the locations any time we are even near Saint Louis. Â I love the atmosphere, the menu, the service, and the fact that I can order off said menu - even WITH my dietary restrictions. Â
They have a decent beer selection, as well as some delicious cocktail creations. And the deep dish (corn based) pizza is amazing. Â I unfortunately can no longer partake in that crust. Â But luckily they have a gluten free crust, which is thin & crispy. Â They offer vegan cheese, as well as gluten free/vegan dessert options. Â I have never had a bad experience here, and will continue to make trips eastbound to Saint Louis to support them.
I would definitely suggest trying the deep dish if you can appreciate that style of pizza  And also, they offer so many options as far as the mixing & matching goes.  So no matter how picky someone might be at your table, everyone *should* be satisfied.
Pizza was good. Â Cornmeal crust and heavily topped with their homemade chunky pizza sauce. Â I opted to add the sausage for a buck fifty but the sauce was so heavy and there was so little of it that I could barely taste the sausage on it. Â $15.06 with tax for a small deep dish with sausage. Â Not bad and Nice place.
