Felix's Pizza Pub

The people at Felix's do an amazing job at being what they are--a laid back bar with awesome pizza, excellent drink specials and an incredibly friendly staff.

Let me jump right in and say that I was sold the first time I set foot on this place.  So, it looks like a pub with a bar area, a few tables, and a video game deep in the corner of the place but the servers were rather friendly.  The first impression I got when the bartender came to take the order was that it seemed as though he treats his costumers like they're all regulars (and granted, some might be).  But services like that are hard to find anymore, especially when you come to new places and they know they haven't seen you there yet.  

So, the pizza.  I had the Art Hill (thin sliced meatballs coveed in red sauce, basil, green pepper, ricotta cheese, and parmesan cheese) because it sounded really good.  Was not disappointed at all.  It was so delicious, flavorful, and the ingredients tasted really fresh.  I stayed for another glass of wine after dinner just because the atmosphere was nice.

Overall, this place gets a 5-star from me because of great food, great service, and great atmosphere! I can't wait to come back...

New to the neighborhood, we gave Felix's a try for quick pizza dinner.  Pizza was good, service was good.  We did feel like newbies, but we weren't heckled or anything like that.  Would recommend buying pizza by the slice--the slices are huge and you can get them with any topping you'd like.
