The chef's tasting menu was deliriously delectable. 5 courses of fresh ingredients and timely, meticulous care. The roasted beet salad was fresh and earthy and a great way to start the night. The smoked duck was perfectly cooked, the seabass lip-smacking good and the grilled filet with the truffle hollandaise and fried egg....perfectly decadent. To finish off the night was the cheesecake Napoleon. The Chef contacted us personally after making the reservation in order to determine preferences and allergies. He didn't even blink when I reported a gluten intolerance. Instead, he embraced and celebrated all dishes non-gluten. What a perfect wedding anniversary celebration in a romantic, sweet setting. We will be back.
Review Source:I went here a few nights ago with my best friend to escape West County for a change.
We went on a Thursday night around 8:30pm, and to my surprise, there were quite a few open tables on the rooftop! I'm a sucker for rooftop bars. And, it was the perfect night to dine outside.
We each had a glass of Riesling. Â I ordered the burger which came with mixed greens and Parmesan frites, and my friend ordered the gnocchi. She enjoyed her order, mine was okay. They did not skimp out on the frites, but it seemed like something was missing with the burger.
For dessert, we split the French vanilla creme brûlée which was delicious! It came with a few strawberries on the side, and we each had a glass of champagne.
Our server was very polite and attentive. He was quick to bring refills. Â I would definitely come back! I'd like to try some of the other options on the dinner menu.
