We were visiting the Soulard farmers market and needed a place for lunch. We found Sassy Jac's, saw all the great Yelp reviews, and decided try it out. Best decision we made all day! Â The bar tender and chef were friendly and knowledgable. Â We tried the Schalfly lager and Tank 7 Farmhouse Ale; both were excellent! Â My husband ordered the Lo country boil and I had the tuna tacos. The boil was well seasoned and the housemade andouille sausage was perfect. The tuna tacos were fresh, perfectly cooked, and well seasoned. Based on other reviews we ordered the creamed corn. OH MY GOODNESS- the creamed corn was fantastic! Â Perfectly creamy, sweet, and crunchy- Â you really shouldn't leave St. Louis without stopping here and trying that creamed corn. We topped our meal off with their delicious red velvet cake which was moist, chocalety, and layered with a rich flavorful icing. Wish we were had a restaurant as good as Sassy Jac's in our neighborhood back home in Chicago.
