I was hesitant on checking this place out based on the past reviews. I happen to be staying in the area for work for a few months and wanted to find a local place to shoot some pool and sing karaoke. There doesn't seem to be many! Â One of my room mates happened to stop by here for lunch and watch the ncaab game a couple days ago. His report was what encouraged me to check it out for myself. He personally had a great burger, had a great waitress and informed me of the selection of available pool tables. I stopped there for dinner tonight and experienced the same overall atmosphere as he did. I went back later on to shoot some pool and have a couple drinks. Both times today made me feel extremely welcome and the food was better than average. I also found out they host karaoke on Friday nights from 9-?. Â The drinks are a little over-priced but I will continue to visit this place while I am in the area based on my experiences! Â Highly recommended to anyone!!
Review Source:Wanted to like this place, just can't. Went to watch a football game there Sunday. Bartenders had the attitude that I should be "honored" that they paid attention to me for my order. One was rude to my wife when she asked politely if they could put the sound on the Giants game, the bartender shot back " I doubt that will happen". when the other patrons at the bar that heard that started to voice their disapproval she told the owner who came over half cocked and basically told the other patrons who were complaining to "be nice" of get out. When I told him the side of the story his bartender didn't he did try to back off a little. I didn't have any confidence that my night was going to go any better there. We paid our tab and will let the beautiful staff of benchwarmer admire themselves in their own mirrors.
Review Source:Used to go with friends here once a week, every week, for about 2 years. After that much repetition it was time for a break. Recently went back and ordered a burger that was actually pretty darn good. They have always had a nice selection of bottled beers, both imported and domestic.
Looking over some of the other reviews, I get where some people might be coming from about the service. We always had a great server, but I think part of that was from being regulars. And for a while it seemed like they were going through a "trainee of the week" program.
I think it's a step above basic bar food, and they make sure the snacks you want when you're drinking are part of the late night menu.
Went on a Friday night expecting good music (since they were advertising a DJ on every available sign in the place) and to have a few good drinks. Â Didn't get either! Â The DJ they proclaimed to have was not working the music that night and the mixed drinks were way weak! Â I wasn't sure if there was even anything in them! Â The do have quite a few good beers on tap and the smoking section of the bar is completely walled off so I didn't have to choke to death on smoke while I was trying to enjoy my drinks and they did have a pool table and some arcade type games but that didn't make up for the poor music and bad drinks. Â Ordered some potato skins and they weren't even edible! Â Won't be going back here.

other then that... Â the bar has glass, plex glass, Â so you can SMOKE at the bar, so if your a smoker then I guess this is good cause you can smoke AT the bar. and we know how hard that is to do theses days..
if your not a smoker like me.... Â it kinda blows cause i STINK after i leave this place. Â Same with the POOL/Dart room, its sectioned off with glass so you can smoke there too. Â
If your wanting to drink without the smoke your stuck to inside EATING area and 1 pool table.
Far as TVs go, I would say they FAIL for a SPORTS bar, not near enough TVs and from what I saw the images where not that good. Â
They have 2 small projection screens which are WAY UP in the air so you have to look UP to the roof to watch anything. Â not a good lay out for people WANTING to watch a game.
Prices are OK, not cheap but not to high. Shots and mix drinks still going to run you $8-$10. Im not sure why people charge city prices on the south side and then wonder why the place isn't packed out. Its the SOUTH SIDE! Â
FOOD.
Food is BAR FOOD!!! Â Wings are good, but most bars have good wings. Â Far as expecting GREAT FOOD not going to happen, but if its just FOOD and drinks then its good.
because its local I'll go back, but only because there is NO REAL BAR on the south side.
I went here the other night just to check it out  I'm new to this area and like to know my options. The food was alright, nothing special. Actually, I ordered the country fried steak which came with green beans and a ton of what I think was parsley sprinkled all over everything. Their wings are huge, like crazy big. They have Stella on tap which is so rare around here and why I'll be back again!
Review Source:I've never been to this bar at any decent hour. I haven't heard good things about the food.... Not that it's bad... It's just not really recommended. If it's 1am and you're hungry, by all means, order.
They have pool tables, darts, and a very classic stuffed animal claw grab machines.
Other than that, you've got tables and alcohol.
There has never been a big screen TV that caught my attention, but I can't guarentee they don't have them.
And what's the point of a sports bar without an overly, outragiously large TV so your sports team seems life-like?
So, come here with a few friends (they only have small booths, small tables, and bar stools in the bar area)... Drink a few... And make sure you're out at a reasonable time because they hire a cop to keep an eye on things.
It's better than Memories.
