Big Guy's BBQ

This place has great BBQ! I had the two meat dinner, pulled pork and pulled chicken, was very delicious. The dinner came with Texas toast, and two sides. The sauce was excellent. If you are ever looking for a place to have some great bbq, give this place a try. My family and I will stop here again!

I love me some BBQ, and I drove past this place frequently and finally decided that I'd have to try it out. It is fairly new and it is attached to the "Hula Bean," which is an ice cream and coffee place. They even knocked down part of the wall to make it one place instead of two.

The experience was not good. When my wife and I walked in, I was ready for some tasty bbq. I was hungry. The menu looked good, and had a decent selection. But the prices did not seem to be very good. I regrettably ordered my pulled pork sandwich, and my wife got their pulled pork kid's meal.

My meal was an average size and I ate it down right quick. The taste was average for bbq. Nothing stood out. It wasn't hot, all that sweet, or anything special. My wife's kid's meal, however, was nearly the same size as mine for about the third of the price. And she got mac and cheese with hers.

I ordered normal black unsweet tea, but apparently they only have all types of strange hot teas. Which was also a disappointment. So I got some kind of peach tea iced, which was a mistake.

The server I saw probably twice. And the environment of the place is not cool. I know I won't be back. But if I did happen to go back, I'd definitely get the kid's meal. It's like $3:00.

Excellent BBQ joint.  They also have an excellent lunch special.  I've had the pulled pork sandwich, and this time I tried the chicken and chips.  Their home made chips are pretty good, just a little too much on the salty side.  I would recommend this joint to anyone who like's BBQ.
