Billy Sims BBQ

Brisket was tough, like it had been not only microwaved, but microwaved for way too long. Sides were just okay, nothing special. There is much better BBQ in Springfield, I'm surprised this place has stayed open as long as it has.

I am not much into chain BBQ joints, but have found several to be the exception. I have to confess, I am also a Rib Crib fan.

I stopped in for a quick bite so just had the pulled pork sandwich and slaw. The sandwich was tasty, moist, and had a good smoke flavor. The sauce was tasty, but would have like one with a little more spice.

Will go back for the ultimate test. The Ribs.
