Bimbo's

This place reminds me of the ice houses of yore.  My husband and I dared ourselves on a  whim to go to Bimbo's, as we live in the area and have driven by this place hundreds of times before stopping in . . This place is a hybrid shack/trailer/dive bar/ice house.   We enjoy ourselves every time, it's nice an cool inside, on the dim side but not DARK.  You can go an enjoy conversation between just the two of you, or join in with the friendly regulars and just chuckle it up.  There's karaoke, and sometimes live music.  My brother loves this place. Bikers like this place.  Blue collar, white collar, we're all here mixing it up and having a good time. Stiff drinks, yes indeed.  Ice cold beer too.

This place is awesome. Small little dive bar slash biker bar with cheap, stiff drinks, lots of characters and good, wholesome americana'ness.

If you are looking for a yuppie bar this isn't it.

Unique little bar in the woods of North Houston. My friends described this place as a trailer bar but it's more of a shack, a large shack. The usuals will look you up and down a few times when you first walk in but overall, it's a nice place to relax with friends, grab a Lone Star, and get away from the usual cougar crowd of Luxe/Baker Street.

There's pool, darts, some outdoor tables, and probably someone revving their Harley in the parking lot.
