Birdie's Pizza

I've been coming here for 27 years, my parents have been coming here since they were dating. The best pizza in town. The eggplant sub is so good it will renew your faith in God.

I fell in love with this place. My husband and I are from up north and Birdie's pizza is by far the most authentic pizza shop in FL so far that can say they have NY pizza and back it up. My husband and I shared a cheese calzone which was HUGE and delicious. The pizza we have tasted before and is truely delicious. The decor pays tribute to old New York and you have fast and friend service. They even had the daily New York Post so you feel like your home and there is no doubt about that. I can't forget to mention that the best part of the experience at Birdie's was finding out the had Zeppoles. Not these so called " fried donuts" that consist of granulated sugar and dipping sauces that you find at other locations. Actual Zeppoles big, fluffy, round, goodness completely covered with powder sugar like they are supposed to be. Absolutely delicious and perfect. We can not wait to come back to Fort Myers.
