I placed my order over the phone ahead of time because it was for a work lunch. 4 entrees, two drinks. The guy over the phone was nice but he made me feel rushed to get off the phone. I said I needed it ready by a certian time and when I got there I paid and sat down. I figured I'd be sitting for only a few minutes but I sat for 20 minutes waiting for the food to come out. The hostess was nice and greeted me but the person who brought out the food made me feel like it was an inconvenience to bring out my order. I asked for extra butter and she said there was enough in the bag; there was only one 2 ounce container of butter in the bag for four people.

They messed up the sides comepletely on two of the orders and both of the steaks were asked to be medium well; both ended up being rare.

I will most certainly avoid this place if I can.

When we arrived, the restaurant was not busy.  We were greeted within four or five minutes.  Service was slow, but the waiter was friendly.  Both the waiter and the manager were attention to food allergies.  It took a very long while while to get our food.  Requests needed t be repeated.

Honestly, the food was good, but the relatively costly food and lack of service will keep us from returning.

The one good thing about the food here is that we had a coupon!  Other than that, it's just average, run of the mill steak with the country atmosphere, and a bit overpriced.  The interior space is old and the carpets need cleaning.  Our waitress was super-friendly, which made up for the lackluster ambiance.

The food is very good! They put out coupons for the "Campfire Feast for Two" for $39.95 and it's an incredible deal. The wait staff was attentive and polite. Had to wait about 20 min for a table on a Friday night which I guess wasn't too bad.

Atmosphere is nice. Service is a little slow.  Their specialty drinks are a little weak. Food was cooked properly and tasted good. Overall, it was okay but not impressive.

The atmosphere here is pretty good.    The food is between 3 and 4 stars.   My steak was perfect, my wife ordered hers medium and it came out medium well - maybe closer to well done.    We didn't send it back, as it was edible.   The appetizer sampler was pretty good.  No complaints there.
The service kinda cold though.   No smiles, kinda short and to the point..   Although our waters were kept full, just the unfriendliness kinda put us off...

Good food!  Service was terrible.  My wife order a glass of wine 3 times never got it!  Took 10 minutes to get more ice tea for me.  Got my soup in the middle of our appetizer .  My wife's mashed potatoes were cold as though they had been sitting before being brought out.  Brought us a to go container and the check together even though we ordered desert.  Still waiting for our chews cake 10 minutes latter.   Use the coupons and don't bother to tip!

Black Angus has a nice rustic, western atmosphere and they have a bunch of TVs mounted around the restaurant so you can always see some sports playing. The food is decent, I tried the prime rib dinner, it is no Lawry's but it was decent, there were some chewy bits. We had the artichoke heart appetizer and the was pretty good with the sauces they provide along with it. My GF had the breaded shrimp dinner and it was just enough to get filled up on after the appetizer and we had a cocktail , it was pretty stiff. This place seems like a great place for a sports bar and restaurant as they have lots of TVs. seems like a good place to get drinks, appetizers, and watch games at. We'll probably go back and eat there again sometime.

My mother & I go out to lunch once a week. We have tried different restaurants when we get coupons. By far The Black Angus is our favorite place. We always order the steak lunch with a loaded baked potato and I love the Ceasar  salad. Mom's favorite is the baked bread with her salad. I have to say that all of the servers we have had are well trained and very accommodating. The best part is the quality of the meat and produce. We love this place so much that we celebrated her 81st Birthday there with a party of 7 family members and the service was impeccable. We Love Black Angus and they get a five star rating from both of us!

Went on a Friday night and was expecting to have to wait a little bit but got seated right away. Our server was on top of everything, got our order taken quickly and served us quickly. Food was great, we had printed the coupon from Yelp and the special was outstanding, my wife had the Prime Rib and I had the Ribeye, both were perfectly cooked. The dessert was a huge slice of raspberry swirled cheesecake, more than enough for 2 to share. I will be going back again for sure.

We stopped in near closing after the Channel 70 Video crew spent a very long day on an outdoor shoot. We were mostly hungry for red meat and a bit lacking in the patience department. Even though the server also had been working all day, she treated us like kings and was cheerful to a fault. And, the food came fast. I had the bacon wrapped filet mignon and didn't do it justice because I near inhaled it. I'm sure it was good. Our script supervisor/PA put a huge sirloin away in minutes into her 90 lb frame. Once we had some food in us, everyone mellowed. Still, out of respect to the staff, we made sure we left before closing time. We're returning for lunch later in the week to really enjoy this Black Angus.

My family and I were looking to eat some barbecue at a local mom & pop restaurant... but when my sister found a coupon in her bag for a free order of fries we decided that Black Angus is the place to be. The free bread is warm and delicious! The dining area feels like a maze, but still it's very cozy. I ordered steak covered in teriyaki sauce which was delicious. Seriously, it was freaking delicious. The steak was cooked just right and the sauce gave it a sweet taste but wasn't too powerful. My sister ordered a dish with a side of coleslaw. First let me say that it was a very depressing coleslaw. It was shredded cabbage with some white sauce on it. Talk about cutting corners. My sister ordered a bacon cheeseburger. The meat was juicy and plump, the bacon was nice and crispy, and the bread was warm and moist, but not to the point that the bread starting to deteriorate. Some places use that cheap bread that falls apart when a drop of water falls on top of it. The fries, however, seemed like your typical frozen bag kind. They were soggy when they arrived. The service does take a while, but our server was really accommodating. My sister can be a pain sometimes, but our server was very patient and maintain his poise. The strawberry lemonade is a must! Seriously! It is made with real strawberries and lemon with a dash of mint. It wasn't kool-aid mixed with minute maid juice.

There menu has a wide range of items to try and I hear they have a happy hour. I shall plan my next visit around their next happy hour. It better make me happy or else my Yelp review shall bring the ruckus.

Yes, the happy hour & appetizers are great!  We had a get-together after work, pretty much took up a good size corner of the bar.  The staff was awesomel & kept up well.

My wife and I went here for happy hour, which is supposed to be 'happy', right?  Last I checked it was not supposed to expensive and sad like a clown with no balloons.  The food was served luke warm in small portions, it took a while to get drinks, and we LITERALLY heard their version of the birthday song 4 freakin' times from different well-light corners of the restaurant.

Also, let me just say that every menu category doesn't have to have some super CRAZY name.  Lets just call them 'appetizers' and not 'super startaz!'.  Lets call them sandwiches and not 'SLAM DUNK SANDWICHES, OOOOOHHHH YEAH!'.   Seriously!  We were laughing at the superlative menu categorizations for 10 minutes.  It almost made up for the crappy food.

We heard they remodeled the bar.  Apparently that means hanging a giant "BULLSEYE" fluorescent smiling bull above the bar entrance and turning the lights even higher.  Thanks guys!  Now I can see in terrible detail how you overcook the limp fries!

I will say that the steak was cooked to a proper medium rare on request, however the manager had to bring it out for us since our server was busy.  She was nice, but clearly overmatched by the legions of birthday goers.

This will be the last time I eat of their terrible angus.

We had a birthday party for my husband at the Black Angus on Saturday afternoon. We had eighteen guests and the party was in the bar area. It was a very successful party.  Black Angus did an excellent job with the food and serving the cakes I brought in.  Everyone was very helpful and pleasant. They took care of everything and I could just enjoy myself.  I have had two parties at a different location which were done nicely, too. One of them was on Mother's Day and it was for dinner.....amazing that it went perfect. Definitely my choice for a birthday party.

I usually won't stray away from Hozy's for a steak dinner but decided to give Black Angus a try.  Started with a shrimp cocktail  which was good.  Salad was good as well but I came for the steak.  I ordered the 12oz ribeye.  Fearing it was going to taste like shoe leather, I asked for A-1 before the steak arrived.  The steak was cooked to perfection (medium) just a little pink on the middle.  It had good flavor and there was no need for the A-1.  The service was very good as well.

Stopped into the "Bullseye" bar last night for a quick bite before a movie.  Luckily it was happy hour (4-7pm I believe) so we started with a $3 beer, a $4 martini, and a $5 artichoke appetizer.

I had brought the newspaper coupon in with us just in case and I was glad I did.  My boyfriend ended up using one to order the $16.99 filet and prawns.  It was a great price considering the teriyaki chicken alone was $17.99.

I only wanted a small wedge salad which was around $5 but when I went over our bill I noticed that our waitress only charged us $2 as an"add on salad" to my BF's meal.  I thought was nice - she could have easily charged full price.

The food was good, the price was right, and the service was fast and friendly. Recommend!

Tip: Try the Pineapple Jalapeño Chelada!  It's a bottle of Corona with pineapple juice, lime juice and fresh jalepeño slices... yum!

Came here on a Saturday evening after coming across the $39.99 deal for 2 coupon. I have to say that it was a very good meal for the price. We didn't even finish it all! Ordered the rib eye and grilled chicken which were excellent. Our waiter was very polite and attentive too bad I can't remember his name. We will definitely be back again!!

I came here on Wednesday for my dad's birthday. Lucky for us, they had a Prime Rib special I didn't know about on Wednesdays. The prime rib comes with 2 sides and also mud pie for dessert for only $15.99. It was a good deal for the huge amount of food we had. My dad really liked his wedge salad. they also brought him a little pizookie-like cookie with a candle on top for his birthday. The mango mojito was pretty fruity tasting- a good thing in my book. We had a good time. The service was good as well.

No shame in using a coupon! Pretty good deal if you use that lunch entree deal. Food here isn't bad, it's not that great either. It's a upgrade from Denny's but not even close to a Ruth's Chris. I've become a bit of a steak snob.

I meant to write this review last week... I went here for dinner and my friend and I order the Feast for 2...  Both of us ordered the Rib Eye steak...  Huge steak btw.  Very well cooked.. we got the sampler platter as our appitzer and the Chocolate Fudge cake for dessert...  I have no shame in saying yes I ate everything in front of me.. It was so good and well worth the money he spent especially if you use the coupons that comes in the newspaper ads... LOL.. Our server was great and was really on top of things, which I liked a lot...    Place is big and the bar has lots of TV's... good place to go to watch a game....

Let me start with the potato soup, it should be called onion soup, I only found a couple pieces of potatoes and the rest was stinky onions. The chicken sandwich was so small that it was done in 3 bites. The services was ok I guess but it dose not make up for the meal, my daughter  order a top sirloin  stake with broccoli , and it was terrible  as well. I used to come here all the time back in the day and it used to be good, idk what happen. If u come here to drink and watch the game in the bar it's cool i guess. But I will not be coming here to eat anymore, the only reason I came here today was because my sister gave my a gift card for christmas.

Stepping into this Black Angus is like stepping back into time...back when they had one in Stockton and I was a kid and we used to come here for big occasions.

I wanna say thats before Outback came to town...

    I will say this bluntly:
Last night at Black Angus was probably the best service I have ever had at a Steakhouse.

    Let me say that again:
Last night at Black Angus was probably the best service I have ever had at a Steakhouse.

Our server was Gilberto.  (I remember because I wanted to talk to his manager but didnt get a chance)

Gilberto was over to greet us within a minute or two and had drinks for us a minute later.  We looked over the menu and decided to get their Campfire Feast 2 Eat for $52. (Drinks extra) Most places this would include some of their more random, less popular food but here it included any of the appetizer, 5 different kinds of steak, salmon and chicken...and you got to choose one of their regular deserts.

    Play by play:

First off the bread!  My girl lovesss their bread.  She's what you consider a "steakhouse bread connoisseur" if there is such a thing...she loves the bread here.   To me its just bread...much like Outback bread in opinion.  But who goes to a Steakhouse for the bread??

Salads...my hunny ordered the house salad with ranch.  She was very pleased...no complaints.  I ordered the Caesar salad.  It came nice and fresh with just the right amount of dressing and nice big flakes of Parmesan cheese.  I only ate like half...jeeze I had more stuff coming!

Appetizer...we ordered...are you ready for this?  The Fire-Grilled Ocean Mist Artichoke.  Seriously thats what it was named...and it pretty much lived up to it.   Three halfs of an artichoke grilled and then flipped over with butter and sea salt in the middle.  And a little lemon on the side...how cute!    It came with regular mayo and some AMAZING pesto mayo.  Seriously that made it for me.  Hunny ordered a side of sour cream for hers and was totally happy.

Main Course...we had both ordered the 6oz Filet Mignon...her with a baked potato and myself with garlic mashed potatoes. The steak was melt in your mouth.  I have not had a steak that good in 6 months...not since I moved from Utah.  I ate EVERY single piece of it. Anyone who knows me knows I hate gristle and fat so that says tons.  I also ate every single bite of the garlic mashed potatoes...almost seemed like home made.

Desert...oh yeah right after all that I am gonna eat some random pie? We ordered the Sky-High Mud Pie...which came a mile tall with jamoca almond fudge ice cream.  And out ultra fab waiter even overheard me commenting that I would love some milk with it and brought it no charge.

About our waiter Gilberto...he was the best part of the evening...my soda was always refilled before it was done, he checked in on us every couple minutes and if we needed one of something he would bring us two just in case.  I wish more waiters were like him...he made a 5 star dinner a 5.5 night.

    Awesome.

    Nuf' said.

I've always liked this place a lot. The service is always good, we always manage to get a funny server and the food is always delicious. My dad always likes to have his birthday dinner here. They never have a problem with us using coupons and the special dinner that comes with everything you can think of- shrimp, steak, ribs and sidekicks is amazing. For only 14.99- that's a pretty great deal. They offered my dad a birthday dessert and when he said thank you but he was really full they put it in a to-go box for him to take home. We always have a great time at Black Angus.

I had a great experience here tonight. The server was very nice and helpful with ordering. I had a bday coupon that made it a little confusing.. But everything worked out okay. I'm not the type to argue unless I have to. I probably spent a more than I thought I was but it was no big deal to me (I treated my Dad and Sister)

Anyway.. The server was really nice and our service wasn't too bad. She came and went three times before we finally got to order but she had her hands full with a ton of bday dinners (they had to have sang it five times, including me)

My meal was excellent. No complaints. Definitely will return for their Prime Rib special. I'm drooling as I speak.

Had a nice lunch with my wife's family here on mother's day. Thanks to Brittany and the staff for putting up with split checks, screaming children, and special food requests. I had a nice prime-rib, and a large black and tan. It was pretty good all things considered. Excellent service in spite of the pressure.

I really enjoy going here for Happy Hour!  The Happy Hour Specials are great.  They are actually changing the lounge into a bar lounge to be named "Bull's Eye."  We can't wait to see what they do with it.

The food at Black Angus is always outstanding!

Our friend told us that there was a secret underground room at Black Angus where you could order drinks and party down. Turns out, our friend is a liar. We asked the staff and in no uncertain terms, they told us we were idiots. No idea about the food, though. I'm vegetarian.
