All though the drinks were a reasonable price the waitress asked if we needed anything else we said another round of drinks and she never came back at all. We started buying our own drinks at the bar. Also, they did allow some really rude and intoxicated people to scream at the top of their lungs "everyone get the F*** out" numerous of times. As a first time experience I will never go back to that hassle. I want to go to a place where civilized people go.

$9 & $11 for draft beers on a weekday during happy hour??? Get out of here. Much better prices for craft brew in the area.

I'll start by saying the only reason I didn't give them more stars was because of their food. I was there last night with my best friend and we got the pretzel bits, corn fritters, boneless buffalo wings and the spinach dip. The pretezels bites were basically just like what you get when you go to the movies. They didn't do anything special with them to make them their own. The corn fritters were just weird and a little too sweet. The buffalo wings weren't very good. The chicken part was very good but their idea of homemade buffalo sauce is way different. It was like a pink sauce and wasn't very good at all. Last the spinach dip was chunky and not creamy at all and the taste was almost sour/bitter. I think getting a new chef or different recipes would boost well for this place.

BUT, the bartenders are friendly and attentive! The atmospere is great! Really enjoyed this new little spot I found and will def go back!! Hopefully they can fix their menu. That would make this place the perfect bar to go for the weekends!!

Very very happy with Blend. Been dying to find somewhere new to kick it in Hamilton. Townies know it's kinda slim pickings. I go to Brothers next door religiously, and had noticed Blend for quite a while before i finally remembered it as an option-

You know those nights.. If you're like me, going out perhaps once a week or twice a month, you're not running around exploring and frolicking, because all of a sudden you're plenty-nine and when you do manage to escape for a drink, you're not wasting the time brainstorming new territories. You go where is comfortable and familiar and requires no thinking or excess driving, the latter being exactly what makes Hamilton a challenging place to broaden your bar-horizons.

Enter Blend:) Odd location and simple, no-frills layout, but definitely NOT a dive, nor a runway. Which i feel is tough to come by in hamilton- you are either stuck with townie bars, crappy chains, one of a few chichi restaurants that break the bank, or driving to trenton or princeton, new brunswick... Blend however is equally accommodating to heels or chuck Taylors, the bartenders are super sweet and PROMPT, the owner (or manager?) makes frequent rounds to ensure a content crowd, AND the prices are totally reasonable!  But i feel like it's taking a while to catch on perhaps? As I said, the location isn't the most... Aesthetically engaging, but stop yourself from passing it off as just a strip mall bar, and give it a go. I think it's a breath of fresh air for the scene here, I know it was for me!

My new favorite bar. I didn't even know this place existed until looking on Yelp. Thanks to Yelp, I unlocked a free appetizer. We got the nachos. Since they serve mostly small plates, we thought it was going to be a small basket of chips with just some cheese on it. Not quite. It was quite a nice place to share with 2 or more people. The place is quite new in a long rectangular space in a new strip mall (if you want to call it that). Would be similar to a bar you'd have in your basement. Cement floors, steel beam supports, knotty pine complimenting the granite top bar. The staff and owner are very friendly. Service is excellent. They have a great happy hour and run specials every day. They also have a nice packaged goods area. Their specialty are microbrews. They've got all the good ones as well. They also run a nice scotch flight for $18 (add $10 more for Johnnie Walker Blue). Electronic jukebox on the wall and enough flat screen TV's to catch all the games. They even bring in entertainment. If you like their Facebook page, you'll get all the specials every day.

Nice place but went with friends and one man show singing was so loud we couldn't talk to each other. Would def go back but not on a night there is entertainment.

Great beer selections and yummy cocktails....the atmosphere is pretty chill. We have only been here twice and both times there was an older crowd 30 and up, which we like.

There is not much food options however the choices they do have are pretty good! We had a bar pie which was delicious, a jalapeño grill cheese that was super tasty And a tomato and mozzarella salad....

First time here and we came from Rat's so there is no comparison ...

Not a bad spot to get a drink and a small bite to eat. Don't go for an impressive menu, but the beer selection is pretty good. The wives were not eating but we got a mushroom & pepperoni pizza as well as a Spicy Grilled Cheese - not bad at all.

The place is open and airy and a little too noisy for my taste but I think it is looking for the younger crowd. All in all, not a bad place.

I met a couple old friends for drinks here on Monday night and did not know much about this place other than the fact that they just opened up.  They are located right next door to Brothers Pizza on Rt 33.  The building has a nice modern stucco'd look to it.  Walking in revealed a very open and airy feeling space, not cramped at all.

There was no hostess to greet us upon walking in so we grabbed the closest table available.  Within a minute we were greeted by our very friendly waitress.  My friend and I decided to order drinks while we waited for our 3rd to get there.  The beer menu was IMPRESSIVE, especially compared to other bars in the area.  If you've read any of my other reviews you know that the way to my heart is a great draft beer selection and this place more than accommodated that.  I decided to start off with the Victory Hop Devil and it tasted great!

When our other friend arrived, we went ahead and ordered food.  The food menu is limited which is what we expected since they clearly state that on their website.  This wasn't a problem for us.  I decided to go for the bar pie and my friends ordered the corn nuggets and boneless wings.  Everything was very good.  The bar pie tasted very much like Brothers Pizza's pie which I also like a lot, and I realized just before writing this review that it might be the same owner.

Overall I am very happy with this place.  It's the perfect place to go for drinks and apps, the atmosphere is nice, the staff is friendly and the food is good.  I would definitely come back here and would recommend it to others.

Blend Bar & Bistro opened on Sunday, October 28, 2012 - the day before Hurricane Sandy came to into town.  Therefore, they were closed for the next 4 days opening again on Friday, November 2nd.  Blend is located in a strip mall next to the family's restaurant, Brother's Pizza.  They have a good selection of beers, wines and bar food.  Since we already had plans for dinner, we stopped in for a drink and appetizer.  The nachos were very good and since it was happy hour, the prices were great.  We promised the owner Antonio Carannante that we would be back and the next time we will bring our Friday night Happy Hour gang with us!
