Worst service ever!!! Â The waitress sat us and never came back for 15 mins. Â We just ordered some waters and beer and it took another 5 mins for us to get that. Â She seemed to run around alot but it was a Thursday night and the place was not busy at all. Â We ordered chips and salsa for an appetizer, a salad and my husband had the steak sandwich. Â We never got the appetizer, and the bus boy delivered our food and walked away. Â We didn't have silverware so my husband had to ask another table for their unneeded sets because we never saw our waitress again. Â She never checked on us and we never got a refill on our drinks. Â We had to ask the bus boy to bring us our check after waiting 30 mins after we were done with no sign of our waitress. Â Finally at that point she came over to ask if we wanted dessert and we informed her we never got our appetizers and she got mad and stomped away. Â She never apologized but just ran away to yell at the kitchen. Â She came back to our table with our check and we paid in cash so we could get out of there quickly. Â The food and atmosphere is nice, but I'll never recommend this to anyone because of how badly ran this place is.
Review Source:Recently had dinner here myself. Â I took a chance because I was looking for a good hamburger and am here alone until the middle of March. Â The hamburger was good, the fries were fresh but the service was beyong my expectations for such a little sporty place. Â I have never been looked after so attentively by the staff in this place. Â Even if the food had not been that good, I would have to go back. Â A place like this deserves to be in business. Â They are definately trying harder.

The ambiance is modern hip contemporary. Plenty of TVs to catch the games. Â Staff looked friendly. Â They have a few tables outside for smokers. Â
I've been here about 4-5 times when they first opened. Still a little odd for me all different types of customers, from old, to college, tourist, bikers, glamor girls, blue, white collars. just trying to find it's identity. Â Sports bar? Kinda, Â dance clubish, sorta Gastro grill/ pub. I'd have to say all of the above. The food is above average for quality, taste, price and value. The employees seemed busy even when slow they were attentive. Â I'm not going to give up on you, Â just yet, Â since it's on the way home and I have a few friends who really enjoy this place. Â They have a stage just East of the bar with live music, and open mike night for good local performers and Karaoke.
At the Blue Monkey, you can always count on having a great time and enjoying a few drinks and some good food. The bartenders are the best I have ever had the pleasure to do business with and there is a nice mix of people to converse with.
Here, you can witness the Hillbilly and their mating rituals and make a few new friends while watching people have a blast and dance to the live music.
We stopped in last night on a Saturday and had fun doing shots, eating gator bites (taste like chicken..swear) and listening to a great band play covers of Bob Seger and other radio friendly hits (you guys rule thanks)

I'm big on the Naples social scene...old people and all. I love hanging out on 5th Street and hitting up places like Campiello and Trulucks, but venture off the beaten path to the Blue Monkey and you won't regret stopping by. Let me just tell you I really like this place. It reminds me of that Toby Keith song "I love this bar," such a fun local place with a great mix of people. Service is friendly and attentive-they always remember a familiar face and treat you like family. I'm pretty sure they have a legit chef on staff because the food is seriously impressive....not like any bar food I've ever had before, super original but with all the classics, as well. My fave menu items are the sushi (no, I'm not kidding, this one will definitely surprise you), the buffalo chicken wrap, the burger, and the filet (again, totally not kidding). They have delicious seasoned fries, awesome nightly specials, and yummy salads, too. Karoake night is fun, but really any night is happening at the Monkey. You can almost always find the owners hanging out, say hello - they're likely to buy you a round on the house if you go introduce yourself.
Review Source:A fantastic find! Â Located in North East Naples off 951 and Vanderbilt Beach Rd. near the Sweet Bay, the Blue Monkey has the best food around! Â We had a french dip sandwich on garlic bread which melted in your mouth, a deli sandwich of turkey and swiss on Rye bread which had enough meat on it for three sandwiches!, and a crab rangoon roll which was hands down the best thing I have eaten in some time. Â The prices were low, the service was outstanding, and the Karaoke was loads of fun! Â They have a full calendar of evening events from Karaoke and Open Mic night to hosting some great musical talent.
