Blue Moon Bagel Cafe

Nice place. Bagels are good -- not perfect NY quality, but good. The place can get pretty crowded, but the food is solid. They do sandwiches, salads, and a multitude of baked goods in addition to bagels. Nice place for a family lunch.

I went to Blue Moon Bagel Cafe on a whim as I was passing by and craving a real NY style bagel with a rasher. I was surprised at how large the space was inside, and how many types of items they have available. The line was long, but there are lots of people behind the counter ready to help you. I was there on a Sunday morning and was in and out in just a few minutes. I got the multigrain bagel with cream cheese to go and a chocolate mousse cupcake (couldn't resist the delicious looking pastry display - one of each please!).

The bagel had a lot of cream cheese on it that I ended up scraping off, so next time I'll ask for less. If you haven't tried it yet, eat a bagel with cream cheese and bacon on top. It's the best mix of creamy sweetness from the cream cheese and salty crunchiness from the bacon, all on a delicious bagel plate.

The chocolate mousse cupcake was really rich, too much to finish! It was packaged in a neat futuristic bubble packet so the beautifully decorated top was perfect when I got it home.

I am looking forward to going back to Blue Moon now that I know what it's like. I can't believe I waited so long to try it!

And even better, it's right next to one of the BEST Marshalls I've ever shopped.

Gotta give props to the new manager for taking the time to write me a lengthy explanation about problems that he identified and steps he took to move forward.  To be 100% honest I haven't been back to Medfield but I will definitely stop back when I do.
