They have better than decent steak tips but their fish n chips are out of this world - Guinness batter dipped, the filet I had last night measured 6" x 8" and about an inch and a half thick, perfectly done as are their chips. The cole slaw was good with a horseradish tang to it.
I would vote them as having the best FnC in the Boston area that I've had in a long, long time.
It's seat yourself but you'll be greeted before sitting or shortly thereafter, service so far has been great. As for parking, if you can't find a space along the street there's tons of parking out back.
It's located across from the town common and the Norwood Theater, great for a date night dinner or just a meeting spot for a few drinks, darts or pool,
Have been to this pub several times. Â To me it's a typical bar. Â It is large and 'open' enough to have a large crowd of friends. Â The bartenders are pleasant. Â The prices are reasonable. Â The outstanding or the "WOW" factor is the nachos. Â These are the best I've ever had and the portion is enough to feed four people.
