Blue Sky

This was my favorite Athens bar. It was discovered basically by accident after going out of the back door from Walker's. The bartenders are pretty nice and seem knowledgeable and have good recommendations. The atmosphere is much more relaxed and less busy than other bars. Great place and great service.

best scotch list in athens, hands down. not wild about the atmosphere, but the staff is friendly, and the owner knows his scotch. lots of interesting beer in bottles, but if you want beer go to trappeze. if you want scotch in athens, come here.

As far as athens bars go this place is O.K. Great wooden bar that over looks both north campus and an alley. It is out of the way even in its central location and has a good bordering on great bottled beer list. The pices are competative but not on the low end for what they have to offer. The best part of this bar might be the outdorr patio that connects to walkers. Gives you some fresh air in a decent little place.
