Chicken Express

Fantastic fried Chicken Livers and Chicken Gizzards! The best I have ever eaten. Love the whole "young guy comes out of the bldg to take your order" thing. We had to wait a few minutes, because they cook your order Fresh ! We were driving from Greensboro GA to Duluth GA on the backroads to 316. Thought we would stop at Zaxby's, but decided to turn around and go back to try Chicken Express.  Sooooo glad we did.

I live literally less than a five Minute walk away from a raising canes, but I'd rather drive to Watkinsville to go to the chicken express anytime. I went on a Friday maybe ten minutes before they closed, and the chicken was still. Hot and fresh tasting, no stale hours under lamp taste. Great sides too. Friendly and cute gals working there.  Go check. It out

This is the only fast food place that deserves five stars!  

The meals are inexpensive and although fried, not greasy.  My favorite is the chicken tenders with corn nuggets, biscuit, and side of gravy.

I also like how there isn't a speaker to talk into, but rather an employee comes out to take your order.  The people that work there are very friendly.

Now that I live in Watkinsville and CE is right down the road, I am sure I will be eating there a lot more now.
