This place is your average Tex-Mex restaurant. Â The dishes are nice and cheesy, they have the white queso dip, and their salsa is just plain average. Â I usually go with the burrito, enchilada, and taco combo, but it's not really anything that incredible. Â It's a good place to get some Tex-Mex around Athens, GA, and to have a few drinks while hanging out with friends.
Review Source:Okay, remembering Watkinsville as the no-stop-light town where my grandfather was Sheriff in the early 1960s, and where haute cuisine was the luncheon counter at the cigar smoke-filled Jim Booth's sundry shop, and as someone with some experience in Mexican food having lived in California for the last forty years, imagine my surprise when I ate at a Watkinsville Mexican restaurant that was actually pretty good! Â This is definitely a place I'll consider returning to when visiting the area.
