Well at least they are open. Â As for food, if enormo portions of inferior food is your thing...go for it. Â Calamari way too much batter when it requires only a dusting of flour to be light, tender and delicious. Â But batter and breading is the name of the game here. Â Lots of breading on eggplant, chicken, you name it. Â Read: fried. Â Tomato sauce way too acidic...sort of like cheap pizzeria sauce. Â Veal? Â Forgettaboutit....no resemblance to palatable veal which is almost impossible to get in the south - the reason so many restaurants prefer to use pork as a sub....the pork in the south is good, good veal virtually non existent. Bolognese? Â One thing it is not is any old tomato meat sauce with cream added which is what it is here. Â But if you think Italian is something like olive garden, then you may think this is Italian so you will like it. Â Too bad.
Review Source:We really love Dominick's because you can choose half or whole portions and no matter which, there is plenty to eat. Â The restaurant is very pleasant inside and the service is excellent. Â Oh yeah, the dishes that we have chosen have all been great! Â My granddaughter loves the mac and cheese and I love the veal parmagiana. Â The menu is humongous and it is very popular with kids as well as adults.
