I would give this place NO stars, but the people with whom I went made it a decent evening. Â Firstly, they messed up my mother's entree (fried instead of grilled chicken) which seems to have made the rest of our food sit around for awhile. Â They did not "re-do" the other entrees, so when they came out they were borderline cool, almost cold. Â I got the "Vegan Burger" as people said it was good. Â IT WAS A FROZEN PATTY, not homemade and not fresh at all. Â It was burnt and had obviously sat around for awhile as it was chewy and crunchy. Â I got a "side" of Onion Rings and they brought the full tower of rings (said, "we don't do sides, so this is all we have", even though the waitress said "sure"!) and the rings were not hot and were almost cold too. Â The fries with my burger were definitely cold too. Â After they finally got my mom's entree right, she thought it was not very tasty at all. Â Some of my family did like what they got, but I HATED it and it was awful. Â At least I can make a frozen veggie patty at home properly, but this was outrageous and it was 9 bucks! Â
For vegetarians, DO NOT get the veggie burger here, it sucks. Â Even if mine was not burnt, it was simply a Morningstar Farms-like burger, so make it yourself at home, you'll be much better off.
Not sure why Blues & Greens isn't listed under "bars" but it's the bar which I am reviewing. Â This place has a fair number of interesting beers on tap and the bartenders are friendly enough. Â Make sure to go on a night when it's open band night and you might be surprised by some of the local talent. Â
This is not a place for the 30 & under crowd...more like the mid-40 & older crowd - not that there's anything wrong with that :-)
