We went here a couple times. Diluted drinks, flat beer, old popcorn. What I really have a problem with is this: We went one time and they were offering places for Football draft picks or whatever, I'm not really sure what exactly it was. Anyway, it was $50 a square - and me and my girls weren't interested. When I told the bartender we weren't interested he harassed us a little bit. He could have just been joking - but when I was like "No thank you I said!" He responded to me "Well you need to get your eyebrows done anyway" ... Wtf? Haha I was so shocked, especially since I get my eyebrows done every two weeks on the dot. Who the heck did that guy think he was? When I told the story and described the bartender, my friend told me he was pretty sure it was the owner! How terrible! Like my eyebrows have anything to do with ANYTHING with your dumb football game. I didn't deserve that and we haven't been back since. My underage friends go here though, for obvious reasons...

Alright, now this IS a dive bar. And for me, by far the best of its kind in the immediate area.

To get the nuts and bolts out of the way: this is a straight up, beer-and-shot place. I think a vodka and Monster might be the most you can expect as far as drink creativity goes. But then again, if you came here for the most complex cocktail ever...you should know better.  Really.

The actual bar itself is small and easy to miss if you aren't looking. It's helpful to know that it is next to the Bel-Air Motel, which has an easily spotted sign from either direction of Plainfield Road/Route 30. The interior is nothing special either: bar, some small tables, bathrooms, pinball machine, etc. SMALL is the word; what is unusual is the collection of  signs, knic-knacs, and posters that adorn the walls (think a mix of action figures and porno...yeah).

But what really sets this place a head above the rest in Joliet, is Bobby and  most of the rest of the regulars who frequent here. Bobby is...unique. If by that you mean: foul-mouthed, massively perverted, and frequently hilarious. Imagine Pee-Wee Herman mixed with a bit of John Waters with raunchiness to spare, in the body of a middle-aged guy in a sweatshirt and booty shorts (sometimes) and well, that sums him up. A character in the truest sense of the word. The rest of the bartenders who work the evenings (much more familiar with them than the early crew) are all great. The regulars are an oddball, grab-bag assortment of everything. It would not be unusual or out of place to see a burly biker on one end and an emo girl dressed like a fairy on a typical Saturday night.  No joke.

So if you feel like some cheap beer and playing a rousing guessing game of "What's Up My Butt?", using real  x-rays of various things up people's butts (don't ask, don't tell...?)...well come on down.

Best drinks in town.  Wackiest clientle you"ll ever see anywhere.  New tv"s
You will not be bored when you come in here. This place is not in a bad part of town!!  Very small and loud.  Beer and shots.  They don't have martini glasses here so don't ask for one.
