Good burgers at fair prices. It was nice to go eat at a burger place and have a beer with the meal and get out for $17 for 2 people. I liked all the different options for creating your own burger as well. Definitely coming back.

A good, new family place to eat. Right off of Main St. in the heart of downtown Keller. The create your own burger is an excellent idea! Easy ordering and good food!

The best burger in North Texas!!! Honestly, if I didn't care about my health, I'd eat there everyday! I love the fact that you can personalize your own way. I usually get mine with 2 patties, bacon, and cheddar cheese with fries and a drink.

The burger never takes too long to get out and always tastes and smells fresh!! I LOVE IT!!

Been there a few times.  Drinks are good.  Burgers are ok.

Cool atmosphere. Very family oriented.  I've had better burgers, but Bottle Cap has really good burgers for the price.  Plus, the ordering system is simple, easy to customize  and the food comes out in a timely manor.  I've had a few salads there, which are up to par as well.

For as much traffic as they see, the place is uncommonly clean. The bar is simple, no fancy drinks and the beers are served in  frozen goblets.

The service is above average for a casual place.  Ask for Elizabeth if you are dining or at the bar.  She is always moving, cleaning, or checking on her guest. Outstanding service every time she is working.

Headliner: Which Wich mixed with Fuddruckers.

First timer here. My girlfriend and I were in the mood for a burger and saw this place off 114. You can design your own burger or have a specialty burger. Going rate is $5 for more than enough burger. We split a large fry for $2.75. Beer is priced similar to any other place, though their large is only 16 oz. Shiner was $4.

Food was delicious. Portion size was good for what you pay. 4 draft beers: Shiner, Miller, Bud Light, and Pabst. HUGE cooler of a good assortment of bottled beers. Also kid friendly, with a kids menu and game room.

They have a lot of TVs for watching sports. Servers were nice. Overall good experience. Only gave it 4 stars because of the one time experience, and we went at 3 pm. More than likely a 5 star place though. I will go back.

Food Orders: Make your own burger and the Huevo Ranchero burger; both were excellent.

    Burgers = good

    Easy to get service
You take a sheet of paper that has the menu on it.
You mark what you want and they make it.
They have beer. This is good.

This place is huge also. Always a seat.
    There's a game room.
    Mostly kiddos playing the games.
Good for families and for watching sports.

The clientelle in Keller is family and sports so I like this place alot.

Great burger! Had the Hickory Bacon Cheeseburger and it was so tasty. A soft, spongy bun with aforementioned ingredients and a whole mess of caramelized onions. Didn't miss the lettuce and tomato accoutrements at all. Also had a side order of "Ultimate" cheese fries. Squint your eyes and you'd think you were at Snuffers (which is my Gold Standard for cheese fries). Even after I powered my way to the bottom, I still had plenty of bacon left over. There are probably four or five pieces of bacon on a small order. The only short-coming was that they skimped on the jalapenos with just a few slices of pickled heat (which could have been remedied if I had just asked).

I think they'll eventually suffer an identify crisis as they try to negotiate their market niche. "Are we going to target an adult crowd? Or target families with kids?" IMHO, you can't do both and be as successful as if you were really good at just one of them. The Saturday night we went in, the back room was nearly full with a youth football team. That's fine and all - if they're going to target families with kids. Combine a kid-friendly menu with open seating and somewhat of a game room, and it can easily become a nice night out with the brood's slumber party. However, Bottlecap has a big beer tub as well as a full-bar and plenty of TVs. The "back room" has a pool table and some nostalgia video games and is open late on the weekends (midnight?). With Up In Smoke and Bronson Rock next door, it could just as easily become a biker-friendly burger bar. Granted, the two interests could cohabit nicely and self-segregate after say, 10pm, which is when I'll stop by to enjoy a night out with other adults.

we finally pulled the trigger and had lunch here. the burgers were excellent. i prefer this ordering system where you use an order sheet to select your burger, toppings, and any extras. i really enjoyed my bacon burger with fresh cut fries. the burger was moist and the toppings were fresh. the restaurant is spacious with several TVs and a large screen for your sports viewing pleasure.

i also liked the signs posted around the dining area. you may or may not get a waitress depending on how busy they are. perfectly fine with me since i'm capable of getting my own drink from the bar or refill area. we'll be back for the burgers for sure.

I ate lunch there the other day and built my own Jalapeno burger with Chipotle mayo with pepperjack cheese.  Pretty amazing burger.  The onion rings were just ok, but loved the burger.  It was not very crowded and was able to pick up food in under 15 minutes so we were very happy.  I like this burger joint over Bronson Rock that is just down the street.

My favorite burger place in the area.  I've never had an egg on my burger but it's delicious.

Overall, I liked Bottlecap Alley.  Maybe it helped that I was in for a late lunch one day recently and there were few diners and NO kids.  Maybe it was the nice member of their staff who explained how to order, asked how my meal was while I was eating, and thanked me for coming in as I left.  Maybe it was the 70's/80's music playing in the background.  Maybe it was because it was blazing hot outside and delightfully cool inside.  Maybe it was because I was starving and they cooked me such a tasty burger.  Maybe it was all of that put together that gives them a '4' in my book.

I ordered a one-patty custom burger with lettuce, tomato, pickles, onion, cheddar, and mustard.  I know - boring!  But that's MY standard burger.  Sure, I love bacon and avocado and queso and.... - just not on my burger.  There's something about the tang of mustard and pickles that I dig on a burger (and hot-dogs, too).  Anyway...  I also ordered small fries and iced tea.

I liked the burger.  I'm not a burger connoisseur and don't often stop for one when I'm out and about, so what do I know?!  I still liked it.  It was juicy (maybe a little greasy?) but not overly so. Although I do think if you order a two or three patty burger you'll be asking for trouble with the bun.  It just barely stood up to my burger and toppings, so if you decide on multiple patties and toppings like queso, mayo, or anything unctuous in nature, plan on eating that thing with a fork and knife (or maybe just sticking your face in  for a 'feed')!  The fries were so-so.  I liked that they had the skin on, but they're that dark brown kind of fry rather than the crispy golden type that I prefer.  But I am giving them points since they were lightly seasoned (if you want more salt, it's on the table).  And the tea was good.

If my rating was based on the food alone, I'd probably give a '3' ('4' for the burger, '2.5' for the fries), but all the other stuff I mentioned in the first para gives them an extra point.

Always pleased with the food and atmosphere.  Also works great to bring our kids or enjoy adult time without them.

We like this place. Custom build your own burger, and it's cheaper than fast food for 4 of us. Great fries, too.

Having now eaten at all of the Keller burger joints on numerous occasions, the one thing Bottlecap has going for it (besides great food) is consistency in both food quality and service.  Have had "just OK" meals at other places (Bronson, Yourway) on several occasions since original reviews, but Bottlecap has always been on their game, every visit.  Last evening with the Catsup Fiend (my 18YO) the burgers were amazing, fries hot, queso and chips great, and service spot on....Single patty, bacon, fried egg, grilled onions and jalapenos, chipotle mayo, maybe one of the best combinations I have ever had....Bottlecap continues as a solid player in the Keller burger wars.....

I'll admit that I haven't had a burger here yet.  I had the chili the one time I've gone because I had a burger the day before.  For, as the menu describes it, "full flavored chili", it was very bland and unexciting.  This is supposed to be one of their signature items.

Others I work with describe the burgers as "okay" or "pretty good" which is not exactly glowing praise.

I prefer Chapps or Bronson's Rock in Keller or Outlaw Burgers in Roanoke.

Since our favorite burger joint closed at the beginning of the year, we've been on a quest to find another that'll fill the void. Bottlecap Alley isn't quite that place, but they have some pretty good food.

I don't mind the "order-at-the-counter/pick-up-your-food" idea - bypasses some iffy service I've had lately. Food is cooked up pretty quickly, too. I like that things can be easily made to order. I've had both the single and the double on different visits, and the thing I like best about the burgers is the mushy bun/oozy cheese combination that comes on a Bottlecap Alley burger. The patties have all been consistently on the dry side, but they are seasoned nicely.

I like the fries a lot - a large order will easily feed 2-3 people. The onion rings are okay. I really like the queso - it's surprisingly tasty.

On the last visit, I grabbed a bottled beer from the trough - although it was iced down, it wasn't very cold. Perhaps the trough had been recently filled.

The one down-side in my opinion is that there are kids (as in teams of kids) everywhere. I find that sitting in the bar stool area to the right of the kitchen is a little less populated with young folks. The flow of the beverage stand makes maneuvering a little tricky.

At the end of the day, this is my go-to spot - it's not perfect, but it's not too shabby, either.

Went here for opening day for the rangers. Plenty of seating for a full house. Food was good and no rush on service. Was comfortable for the entire game.  Did not feel like I needed to leave after i finished my food. They have outside eating areas with TVs so you can watch the game elsewhere.  Smoke free is a plus!

Lots of cold beer and hamburgers--what's not to love? We've been a few times and have been very pleased with everything we've tried. Typical bar food items on the menu. You can create your own burger or choose a burger from the menu. The nachos were very flavorful. There are pool tables and an arcade game (or 2?) for the kiddos, and signs everywhere stating "No F Bombs," so as much as a bar can be family friendly, it is. I kind of can't wait for the triple-digit Texas summer so the cold beer will be even better.

Good, kid friendly atmosphere. Typical order process of most new burger joints; fill out your order form, take it to the register and wait for your buzzer to go off. Drinks are self-serve. Great thin meat patty but, absolutely dry buns - we have been here 4 times and the buns always taste/texture like week old bread. We are going to give this place up until we hear they have better buns. Almost forgot....fresh cut fries were yum.

The burger would have rated 4.5 stars if it weren't for the buns.

In the Keller/Roanoke area there seem to be lots of little burger joints popping up, and so far this is one of my favorites. They have build your own or you can choose from one of their creations. The meat and toppings were fresh and juicy, the salads looked amazing, I'll have to try one next time. I went for lunch on a Sunday, but it looks like it might be fun for a night out too with a bar area and pool table.

Ordered fries and a burger. The burger was great. The fries were tasteless. They lost a star due to the fries.

We got a coupon in the mail to try this place out so decided to give it a try in hopes that it wasnt like the rest of the restaurants in Keller and would be at least somewhat decent.

We got there around 4ish in the middle of the week so it wasnt super busy. The staff was nice and helpful. I decided on just a basic build-your-own cheeseburger and a small order of onion rings. My hubs got a blue cheese and bacon burger and a small order of chili fries.

Our food arrived nice and hot. The food was good, I preferred the burger here over a burger at Chapps. The onion rings were excellent. Overall, our meal wasnt the absolute best ever but it was an enjoyable meal and very reasonable. We plan on definitely going back again. I'm glad to finally find a restaurant in Keller that is actually good.

nice atmosphere. lots of big screen TV's, but still family friendly. Burgers were good, not great.  Had a nice variety of special add-ons like chipotle mayo and grilled poblanos to make it all good.  It's a serve yourself type place, so be prepared to wait on yourself for the most part. Price was reasonable.  Six of us had burgers, a couple sides, and sodas for all for about $50.

Enjoyed a very good burger and fries last weekend. Atmosphere was pleasant and fun for the whole family.  It was nice to look out on Main Street and see people walking around enjoying a beautiful evening in Keller. Will definitely be back to support this restaurant!

First time at the Bottlecap, I was really looking forward to it opening but the now that I've been I don't think it will be put on the list for me.  I had an Avocado burger, and fries; burger was a bit dry but the fries were good!  The ambiance was excellent, family friendly and lots of TVs to keep you company if the conversation wanes.  I'll probably pass on this one in the future.

Great family atmosphere.  Plenty of sports on TVs.  Like the ordering system.  Kitchen seems chaotic in terms of getting food out.  Sign by front door says buzzer will ring in 4-5 minutes.  We waited 15 before I went up to the counter.  Our order was still not ready.  Manager was stressed out cause the workers had no clue what was going on.  Some training and practice would help.  And take the 4-5 minute sign down if it isn't going to happen.  They need to focus on the food service or customers will choose the other many new options on Main St.

What a great place. Happy to see this new bar and grill in Keller. We were there on a Sunday around lunchtime, so it wasn't as crowded as it can get in the evenings. Its a lot larger than I imagined. Lotsa TV's. And what looked to be a full bar. I'm not a huge fan of the counter service concept, but no one else seems to mind.

You pick up a menu sheet, check off what you want and turn it in at the counter. We had burgers and onion rings and those burgers were some of the best I've ever had. Soooo much better than Twisted Root at about half the price. I ordered a single beef ($3.75) with pepper jack (.60 cents) and then chose as many as I wanted from the "free toppings" which include lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, diced onions, jalapenos, relish, banana peppers, GRILLED jalapenos, GRILLED onions, pico de gallo and your basic condiments including chipotle mayo and buffalo, In all, there are 17 free toppings. Cheese, bacon, avocado, chili, fried egg and sauteed mushrooms are only .60 cents each. The burgers were perfectly cooked, The meat was generous and flavorful, the cheese was just the right amount melty but the biggest revelation for me was the bun. It's a pretty decent bun - soft, warm a little crisp, but my favorite thing about it is that it's almost exactly the size of the burger. Not twice as big as the patty and cold and dry. I ate the entire burger for maybe the first time ever since I didn't have to pinch off half of the bread.

We also shared a small order of beer-battered onion rings ($3) and they were fine. The french fries looked better and we'll try those next time. We each had a drink and the total came to around $16. The last time we ordered that at Twisted Root, the bill came to around $25 and the burgers were dry, tough and came on a huge dry cold bun which rapidly got soggy in middle.  I used to really like Chapps, but I think I may have a new favorite burger place in Keller.

This is a better than average burger joint that offers quite a variety on their "build your own" menu. I had a grilled chicken sandwich that was moist, tender, & tasty! I've also had their chili, which is very good. The place is ALWAYS packed & its got a fun atmosphere that will bring some life into downtown Keller.

It's a tough call between 2 and 3 stars. Bottlecap Alley is a "fill out your order, build your own burger" kind of place. You fill out the sheet, turn it in, pay, and get a pager. When it buzzes your food is ready and you go to the counter to pick it up. On the one hand the burger was OK, but nothing to rock my world. The beef was a little dry on the inside and a tad greasy on the outside. Fries were OK, though nothing special (they looked house made, but I'm not sure.) The chili was also OK (thankfully no beans) and the beer was cold. There were only domestics on draft (about 6 or 8), and the most exotic offering was Blue Moon... They did not even have Shiner on draft (though Rahr would have been better). There are also bottled options, none of which caught my eye, and I prefer draft beer when it's available (so I went Blue Moon). There are plenty of TVs, so except for the lack of liquor (?), calling it a "sports bar" might work too. There are a couple of video games and a pool table in back. There is also outdoor seating (behind the building). It's nice to see Old Town Keller coming alive, but more food options are coming, so all restaurants are going to have to be on their A-game if they want our business. We'll see how it goes, but for right now there are a couple other nearby places doing burgers better.
