Bowie's Restaurant

Stopped in for breakfast on way to George Washington's birthplace after staying the weekend at Westmoreland Park. This is a quaint little roadside restaurant with excellent breakfast options. This is what you want a roadtrip breakfast place to be.  We had a yummy western omelette with American cheese. The sunny side up eggs were perfect. Just the right amount of runny yolk. The bacon was perfectly cooked. Highly recommended if you're in the area.

Roadside standards. Great place for a quick lunch, especially with kids (who will enjoy the cigar store indian and the panoply of delicious fried foods). The crab cake sandwich is good.
