Sad that I had to even put one star! Charred fish, charred chicken, nasty calamari, pickles are like mushed up mold. The waitress apologized, and the owner, who looked unclean and stung out, screamed at the top of his lungs in the kitchen at the poor waitress, kicked things around, and in general made a huge a** out of himself. I myself am a waitress and would never want any waitress to be treated that way. And does it make sense to reprimand the waitress? She didn't cook the gross food. All in all, since it re-opened as Box Seats, it's horrible.
Review Source:What planet did I land on? So its Monday night and we're near Woonsocket, so I suggest going to Box Seats because I went there once a couple of years ago and it was pretty good. Â So we go and I realize something has happened since I've been there last. Â
I'll cut to the chase.  My friend's margarita had little, if any, tequila in it.  My friend's Ruben sandwich was made without any of the advertised sauerkraut and was bland and uneventful.  If you've  ever had a really good Ruben sandwich, you know the difference.  My chicken parmesan sandwich was cooked to shoe leather and with only about 3 oz. of chicken in the whole sandwich.  I told the waitress that it was not good and she apologized and was adamant in getting me another.  I said that that wouldn't be necessary and she even offered me a dessert, but I declined.  I actually never send anything back, but this was just that bad it deserved to go back tp where it came from. So the manager comes over to check things out and he says he doesn't want anyone leaving the restaurant without a good meal.  I decline his offer for another chicken parmesan sandwich, and gave him the plate of sandwich and fries to take back.  I said that I would keep the fries and have them and he said he would get me a new plate.  He then comes by giving us a "frequent diner" card and asking us to come back and get points.  He takes my friend's plate and says to me, "I guess you should have eaten his fries".  Weird comment I thought...
So we get the bill and low and behold, the fries that were previously with my chciken parmesan plate costs me $3.99! Â I may be out of line, but I would think that any reasonable manager/owner of a restaurant would have comped the french fries! Â Needless to say, we won't be back.... ever.
Love, love, love this place! Probably the best thing about Woonsocket for that matter. This is the only place that I have ever been to that has an unlimited, free soup stand! They have a crock pot in the middle of the restaurant that you walk up to and get as much as you want. So pimp.
Entrees- Very delicious. I have never had a bad dish here, and the portions are HUGE, for what you pay. Totally reasonable prices for what you get. One of the things I love about this place is that they serve some of the dishes in the pans that they were cooked in. I think that's so rad.
The interior design- A New England sports fanatics dream. Memorabilia dating back from the very beginning all the way up to present time. And if everyone knows New Englander's take there sports seriously. If you're ever in Woonsocket, make sure that this is a destination that you go to, you wont be disappointed.
