The hostess should be fired!!! We ate here and the meal was okay. Never order non-pub food if you go here.
My son got steak and we asked for it to be medium-well. Not pink. We got the steak and it was pink, tasteless and tough. We tried sending it back and the hostess (who was helping out the waiter) first told us that we ordered medium, not medium-well. When we told her she was wrong, she then said that the waiter entered it wrong (well, which was it? we told her medium or he entered it wrong?) And we insisted and asked for a burger instead. She reluctantly took the steak. Then the waiter came by, apologized about the steak, reaffirmed how we wanted the burger and put it in for us. Terrible service from the hostess. She should be fired!!!
My lady fiend had the prime rib (small portion size) loaded potato came with a salad n greens. I got the blackened dolphin with greens and twice baked potato. Got it at a good price 25.99 special pick two type deal like Chilis two for 20 yada yada.. Meal was solid. Ordered a Sunday and ran out of vanilla so we had chocolate. Will eat here again. Had the Monkey Burger the other day was kick ass!!
Review Source:Come here often. Food is awesome love the wings burgers turkey club and French dip! They also have a really great prime rib! The staff is great. They are very on top of everything, attentive, and quick. They are familiar with customers and make you feel comfortable and at home. Tons of TVs in the bar! Cant wait for football season to start so I can watch all the games at the monkey!
Review Source:Was there for a benefit fund raiser so didn't get to try the food this time, but did last time and was plesantly surpised. Yeah, it's a neighborhood dive bar but there is a separate dining area and service has always been friendly and attentive. Bar prices are great and there are always plenty of specials. Great place to watch the games - specials on food and drink and tons of TV's. A lot of people showing up in their colors just like going to the stadium.
