I stopped in for lunch this afternoon with four friends.  The waitress brought drinks and menus.  We waited and waited and waited to place an order.  The place was not busy maybe six tables had customers.  Asked a passing wait person to send our waitress over.  Still nothing.  Then both waitressess deliberately avoiding making eye contact.  What's up with that?  Waited about five more minutes, and then left without paying for the iced tea / lemonade.  Will not be back.  Ever.  There is no excuse for such poor service.

So yah, my bright idea to come back here, because hey! they have 1/2 off drinks on Thursdays for ladies!!

Beware ladies... they do not automatically take 1/2 off your drinks. You have to ask. Then when you ask, they still charge you the full price, and then you have to ask them to adjust the bill.

    Ugh.

Should have thought twice about dinning at this place when I saw the dismal reviews but after a friends ill advice I thought maybe yelp was wrong for once... Not the case. The restaurant does have  appeal , looks clean has a large drink and dinner menu, and a good vibe but that's about it. The food was awful. Had the Alfredo, the noodles tasted like they had been cooked weeks ago and tossed in the fridge. I asked to replace my meal and figured maybe I had gone to exotic with my choice, so I ordered a simple pepperoni pizza. Probably one of the worst pizza I've ever had.. The sauce was disgusting and the thick cut pepperoni had no chance to crisp and was sitting in a pool of watery juice . Simply gross. After 2 beers and 2 meals we ended up paying over 50$ for a memorably bad meal.

Those of you looking for slow service, mediocre overpriced food and cold soup should make this a stop.  The place is good for a beer and a game.  Not so good for bringing the kids or if you are a fan of quality.  The venue is nice and roomy with a nice patio.  After 2 or 3 owners I would have figured they would get these issues fixed but considering I just spent my 15th trip there and the same problems have plagued the place every time I go I am just going to give up.

I also loved the fact that when Yelp offered my wife and I a 50% discount there the "assistant manager" said their account was hacked a while ago and that deal wasn't real.  He then suggested I call Yelp and have them remove it.  Helpful.

Anyhow, there are plenty of other places in Northville that are worth dining at - I would put this place at the bottom of your bucket list.

Crab cakes were tasty, but not outstanding. The new owners are doing a better job, but their drinks are still too costly versus the Northville competition.
    Overall---MEH, I'VE EXPERIENCED BETTER.
Had to keep getting our waiter's attention.
I may try one more time and if no better ---THAT'S IT !!

    PS:
The escalator is working now so you can get a parking spot In the south lot without climbing the steps.

First time at Bricks and came away with liking the inside and beer..but the food was OK at best.   Nothing really bad but nothing really good.

I had the grilled chicken sammy and it was just OK....the two other people in my group ordered the pizza and whoever made it did not seem to take much pride in the pie.  The sauce stopped about two inches from each end and it was undercooked and doughy.  Two people split a small and took half of it home because they did not like it.     I had never had the pizza there but a basic eating out rule is never order pizza at a place that is not known for pizza..again  that rule held up to be correct.

I will give it one more try but will stick to the bar basics..like a burger.

A long time resident of Northville, I have given Bricks many chances.  I too was hopeful for the new management. Unfortunately the food was mediocre.  Since the menu was new we thought we would try the crab cakes.  They were green with corn underneath, a lot of it.. and the nachos were fair...the tomatoes were acidity and it came with unflavored beef.  The last straw was when we got our bill. I had a margarita on the rocks and they charged me 7.50 for the margarita and 2.00 for the Rocks! My husband the same.  He ordered Whiskey on the rocks, $9.00 for the drink and $2.00 for the rocks! Really $11.00 for a shot of Makers Mark?  We are done.  Not going back.

Since I reviewed this place, the ownership has changed over from a middle aged man to, from what I hear, someone that graduated around my year, which was 2006.
The food menu has changed and has a more cohesive feel to it since the ownership has changed. The atmosphere was always nice, but my original issue was with the menu. Now that it follows more of a pattern, I really enjoy this place again.
As far as the crowd goes, it has become a rather hot spot on the weekends for younger people, which is great for Northville because lots of the places in downtown have lost their night life crowds to Plymouth. I think this place and the Garage will put up a fight to keep the youth within Northville now.

Sidenote: Ladies, many drinks that my friend and I had were paid for. Sit around the bar where you're visible. The nice thing about this versus other bars is I have yet to be actually bothered by any of them. Most of the guys are young and friendly, NOT creepers. It's a nice change from most of the bars I go to usually.

    Classy.

This is another Northville restaurant that I would love to enjoy more.

Unfortunately, the food is just not that good. I recommend sticking with the appetizers, pizza and drinks. The rest of the menu just hasn't been that good. They had an EXCELLENT pork sandwich that they stopped serving, though it remained on the menu for ages.

Your best bet is to watch their calendar and enjoy a night that has half off appetizers or drinks and live music.

Well I hate to say it but I've become a regular at Bricks.  My BF lives nearby and it seems that we are eating here (along with our boys) at least 3 times a month.  Okay, maybe it's not "regular" status, but it's quite often if you ask me.  Anyways, as other reviewers have mentioned the service and the food quality can be hit or miss.  Overall I have had way more good meals and service than I've had bad.  The kids love the pizza.  I've tried several things on the menu.  The salads are good, some of the Mexican dishes are okay too.  They have many TV's and lots of beer, so really, how bad can it be?

I was encouraged by the new reviews since new management took over. I went with 3 other people, right off the bat they brought us 4 large waters with out even asking for this, this is a lost tradition, and is beyond me why more establishments don't supply water with out asking for it.  We all were pleased with the quick service, I got a french dip sandwich, it was one of the better ones I've had in a while,

I can't speak for the rest of my party but they seemed to enjoy their entrees as well. The decor of this place is nice to, dark but really classy for a pub. i also liked the huge booths

Went in for drinks Friday night. Waited 10 minutes at near empty bar, the staff was pretty busy dancing and singing to each other. Finally got a drink, then when last call was announced, impossible to get another because the entire staff was again on the actual dance floor doing the superman dance. This place is a joke.

Was very noisy when I went. It was a Friday night but still it's not a big enough bar to be blasting house music, needs a spot for people to drink and talk away from the noise. Lots of house music and a DJ, almost seemed like they were trying to be more of a club than a bar. So loud that you had to go outside to hear the person next to you. Drink prices are fine and the food there is okay. Check-in on yelp for a big discount.

Very frustrating experiences at Bricks.  We have eaten there a few times and also tried to dine there twice, each time being told we have to wait for 30 or more minutes.  Normally we don't mind waiting, except there are always a number of empty tables with "reserved" signs on them that stay empty all evening.

I am not sure why they cannot manage their front end and tables better, but we will not be back.

I went here last night, though the food was good the service was AWFUL and ruined the entire experience for us. I understand it was pretty busy in there BUT we were waiting about 10 minutes before we got sat, then another 10 to be greeted, we could have went the other sports bar in the mall and have been eating our food by the time we got our drinks!  Wednesday is 1/2 off appetizers and we ordered a few appetizers and a couple of beers and I blindly (and stupidly) paid my bill before seeing the check, she never even brought an itemized bill and my bill was twice as much as it should have been.  I pointed out the error to our server and also said we were in a bit  of a hurry, we waited 20 minutes before the detailed bill came, told me nothing was wrong with it, then I pointed out none of the appetizers were discounted.  She said the manager had to re-open the check to print it (obviously making the manager aware of the problem) then had to correct it AGAIN!  45 minutes later we were good to go, and the original bill plus the discounted bill are STILL pending in my account.  A manager never came over to apologize.  I waited tables, bartended, and supervised at restaurants all my way through so I do understand what goes on behind the scenes and this place was a huge disappointment!  I WILL NOT BE BACK!

Plain and simple  - nice surroundings - but the food just SUCKS!  We ordered the smothered steak burrito.  The meat was cheap, unseasoned and the "homemade" cheese sauce - grainy and flavorless.  The salad garnish on the plate was old, brown and gross looking.  And I've seen more appetizing rice and refried beans at Taco Bell.  The waitress passed by several times, looked at us and saw we weren't eating and avoided us for 10 minutes.  When she finally asked us how our food was -  she offered to replace our order.  We had seen a delicious looking deep dish pizza delivered to another table, so waited patiently for their "stone oven baked" pizza.  It came in a jelly roll pan, partially burned on the bottom of the crust - we ate it anyway figuring that at least they tried.  The waitress was pleasant enough and told us how the owner "just went off yelling" at the cooks because of our terrible food.  I guess she thought this would make us happy - it didn't.  We asked our waitress why our pizza looked nothing like the one we saw another customer order.  Her reply - I don't know - I guess every cook makes it differently.  When questioned about our jelly roll pan pizza which was so obviously NOT made in a stone oven, she replied - I really don't know how it's made - which means - not in a stone oven.
My husband did see the owner, yet at no point in the evening, did he bother to grace us with the courtesy of an apology.  While he had the opportunity to turn a negative into a positive, he chose not to.  Which is why we will never return.  And we will surely let everyone we know about our experience.

We decided to try this restaurant on a Friday night (10/18/12) It looked nice but the place was rather empty for a Friday at 6:30. When the menu came and we noticed the scattered offerings (Mexican, Pizza, Burger etc) we knew it might be trouble. I ordered the "Loaded Potato Soup" the house special "Brick House Burger" My fiancé ordered a smaller burger with "Sweet Potato Fries"  When my soup came I looked at it and told the waitress there must have been a mistake as it looked like Clam Chowder - Reddish brown and very watery. The waitress told me that it was no mistake and a number of people have complained about the same soup. So I took a taste and it was awful! I asked her to take it back and she did. Next we were served the burgers. They were clearly pre-fab frozen patties from Gorden's food service. The absolute kicker was the I BUN I had asked the waitress why the hamburger did not come with hamburger buns. She told me they were there and sure enough, if you pick up the machine formed burger you'll find one of those tiny flat little buns like you buy at the store, you know 8 for 99 cents!! The cole slaw I ordered in place of fries was not edible so I skipped it. My fiances Potato Fries she commented look like the Orida frozen fires she used to serve the kids!! This is clearly a restaurant owned by someone with more money then food service knowledge. We suspect they are looking for the bar crowd to use the only thing of value here - Their Liquor license!! If you need a place to drink and possibly pick up a date, this might be a place to go.

I need to mention our waitress was very apologetic for the poor food and she offered up that they get at least one complaint from anyone that orders food and she is waiting for an opening at a place called Deadwood nearby.

As we were leaving another couple across the room was doing the smart thing - they refused the entire order (Pizza and what looked like a Burrito) and got up and left!

Alcohol sales might keep this place open for a short time, if you still want to try this establishment after reading the many poor reviews, I recommend  you call before you go to make sure they are still open!

    Northville's worst restaurant!

I used to think this place was slightly mediocre.... then I learned this place had new owners and management.  After speaking with the owner and manager, my group concluded the biggest problem facing Bricks was the service.  In a little over two months, we have seen a major turn-around in terms of service.

I discovered the change in ownership after the kitchen staff messed up our pizza order.  We ordered a thin crust pizza and were presented with a pan.  After commenting to the server, the manager came to the table quickly to address our concern.  We told our server and the manager the pizza would be fine because we did not want another 30 minutes for a replacement, as it was no big deal.  The manager said, "how about we make the correct pizza and you can take it home."  We agreed and thought it was a very nice gesture.  We have returned almost once a week since this experience.  Every time we return the manager comes to our table and asks us how everything is and if the restaurant has improved since our first encounter.

Brick's has a nice assortment of domestic's, import's and craft brews from all over MI.  I have never ordered wine or a mixed drink, but the bar appears fully stocked.  They rotate the craft beers on tap, so I always hope to try a new brew.

The menu selection is great.  The have entrees, sandwiches and pizza.  The biggest shocker to me though, was the selection of mexican foods on the menu.  I first thought, "this looks like the wrong place to order a burrito".  Let me say, I was dead wrong.  The burrito is one of my favorite items on the menu!

Recently, the new owners fixed the canopy covering the outside seating area, making the front porch a great spot for a happy hour meeting.  If your inside, they have two large projectors and a number of HDTV's continually broadcasting whatever sports are on!

    So..

Brick's is now under new ownership and the food, service, and staff are beginning to turn a complete 180! So, that is why I give Bricks four stars...

However, I only dine at Bricks's during ladies nights, or on the weekends with like minded friends and we do not have a problem with service or the food. There are nightly drink specials, fresh KITCHEN MADE soups, and also nightly dinner specials that do not break your wallet. What I enjoy the most about Brick's Northville is: The owner is there ALL DAY EVERYDAY! He definitely cares about the restaurant and is doing his best to clean up the negativity Bricks has encountered.

No, I am not a paid spokeswoman for Bricks-lol.. but I am an advocate for the new owner and the direction he is taking Bricks in. He has great ideas regarding a new name and even MENU!! So, -- give it another try! Tell him Ashley sent ya ;)

Would like to review the food and drink at Bricks but I never was a approached when i sat down at the bar, and after 10 mins I walked out. It was the second quater of the Mich, Mich State game but only slightly busy. I attempted to make contact with more than a few employees but they seemed more interested in talking among themselves.

It looks cool, but that's where it stopped for me.  They have these huge TV's hanging above the bar so my husband and I went in to watch a game.  As the place filled up the drink service got slower and slower to the point that we were waiting 10 minutes or so for each beer (c'mon, it's a bottle of beer, grab it and snap it open).  Then it got SOOOOOOOOOO loud in there we couldn't even hear each other talk.  Cashed out and went down the street to finish our drinks and eat.

The best thing about Bricks?  The live music.  The guitar player was quite good even though no one was listening to him.  Hmm . . .maybe they were all busy complaining about the service?

It's odd . . .this place has a ton of help all wandering around.  The place is huge so I wasn't surprised by it but what did surprise me was the poor level of service given how many people they had working on the night I was there.

I sat at the large bar and ordered a beer. The bottle was so sticky on the bottom- it made me think about how disgusting the beer cooler must be.  The bottle stuck to the napkin, it stuck to the bar . . . . it was gross.  And when I mentioned it to the bartender, she shrugged and said "they all were that way".  Really?  I worked in a bar back in the day and if my cooler had that much gunk on the bottom of it I would have been fired!  But she was right- the second beer I ordered was actually worse than the first if that was possible.  Hey Bricks- you may want to empty out that cooler and CLEAN it!

The food was nothing great (although my fried fish was okay) and even worse?   It came up in the wrong order with my soup coming after my entree which was fine cuz the soup wasn't very good anyway.

The odd thing is that this place was packed!  There wasn't a seat at the bar and there were people standing 3 deep.  Now it was a Friday night and it looked like there was some type of street festival going on so maybe that was the reason but I kept wondering what these people saw in this place?

The ambiance was okay considering this is in a sort of mini mall in downtown Northville.  There is an outdoor patio on Main Street which is where I am sure everyone wants to sit except when it's raining!  And if you want to catch a game- there are plenty of TV's no matter where you look!

Would I go back?  Probably not.  But it seems like it's the "see and be seen" place for the 35 something crowd of Northville.

My family went for dinner at Bricks and 2 dinners were never eaten.  The food was
right out of Gorton Food Supply.  Even the burgers were frozen before.  The waitress never asked if anything was wrong and removed the dinner plates without noticing.
We will not return.  The food took too long in coming.  It was "first Fridays" and they could have made a great impression.

Went with friends on a Sunday afternoon - the place was empty and yet the service was SO slow! All of the food was just okay - and with beverages  and apps. it ended up being 25$ per person. I might go here for drinks on a warm evening - the patio is nice - but I won't eat here again!

The location and outside are gorgeous, it makes you think that the interior would be much more impressive. Needles to say, I was pretty dissappointed to learn Bricks was just another sports bar. The interior was very blah for a sports bar as well, just a big open rectangle, nothing to write home about.

Our waitress was very nice, not too familiar with the menu, but hey, she could be new. She was atleast attentive and friendly.

The food was the biggest dissappointment. I ordered the nachos, which were missing 2-3 items that were listed to be part of the toppings on the menu. Their appearance was less than appetizing and their taste was really bland. My friend had a burger, which he said was just "ok". Another friend ordered soup which she couldn't even finish because it was so bad.

The prices for being a sports bar were a little high. For just having a few bears and less than great bar food, our bill for 4 people was much much higher than it should have been.

Even though I live in walking distance, I will not be returning to Bricks.

Take my review with a grain of salt as I only had drinks here. We were celebrating a friends marriage on a Friday night and they wanted to try Brick's. I was surprised that it wasn't really too busy. The drink prices were okay and the service was pretty quick. Overall it was an okay place that I would go back to.

I had to take away one star from Brick's after eating here a few more times.  I did not feel comfortable misleading fellow Yelpers with the four stars that I had originally posted.  The reason for my downgrade was based on hit or miss service and the quality of food.  The food is mediocre depending on which item you choose from the menu. (Some things are good, others... not so much.)

If you are meeting here for drinks with friends, this would be a good choice.  I still am a fan of the atmosphere and the cocktail choices but just be advised beforehand that the food is not the best.

    .........................................................................................................................................................

    Here is my original review:
I am really glad this place opened up in Northville!

We loved the atmosphere - 5 stars*****!!!  The inside is decorated perfectly with lots of large cozy booths and tables around a large bar in the middle.  It is a great place to watch a game but is does not scream "sports bar".  They have plenty of large screen TV's but you will NOT find pennants, neon, or autographed sports photos cluttering the walls.  It is very well designed. Less is more.

The food I have tried so far was good too - 3 stars***!! The menu consisted of "typical bar food".  I tried the quesadillas.  Nice and cheesy.  I have also tried the deep dish pizza with bacon, pepperoni, mushroom and green pepper.  It was really good!  They used fresh mushroom, not the yucky canned kind, and the bacon was nice and crisp.  A good proportion of cheese to sauce as well.  The burgers I would have to advise against. They use pre-form patties.  I don't know about you, but if I order a burger, it better be a hand formed fresh beef patty.  Definitely, run down the street to Poole's if you are looking for a good burger.

The cocktail menu was AWESOME!! 5 stars*****  They have a nice selection of martinis and specialty mixed drinks.  My favorite was the Chocolate Covered Pretzel Martini.  Amazing!!!  It is a must try.

I noticed they have a stage for live entertainment and dueling pianos which I would like to check out and also an outdoor patio with heaters!!!  This is a place we will be visiting over and over.

First time here for dinner tonight. Seated right away as the place was pretty empty. Becca was our server and she did a adequate job. Very friendly and polite. I had the garlic potato soup and the fish and chips. My wife had the Laborer. The soup was very good. Very tasty with large pieces of potato and a nice garlic flavor.Fish and chips was sub par. Fries were not very hot as if they had come out first, Fish was nothing to remember. Came with hush puppies that were also just okay. 13.95 was a little steep for this meal. My wife loved her dish. 3 layers of crispy tortilla layered with beef, chicken and toppings. Well worth the price. I agree with others about questioning the "Gastropub" description of this place. It seems to be much better suited to a nice meeting place for drinks or watching a game. I will go back to try something else and hope I pick a better item on the menu. Give it a try.

Our first time at Brick's was on a Friday evening. We had been warned that it would be busy and loud but we arrived early enough that we were seated right away. It has a nice modern feel with some nice historical photos of Northville on the walls. We didn't have any problems with the sound level. But it was early in the evening so it might get louder as the night goes on.

Unlike many of the other reviews, our service was the best part of the experience. Our waitress took our drink order immediately, brought us water without us having to ask, and checked in on us regularly. She took our order for dinner and we didn't have to wait for our food to arrive.

It's too bad that the food didn't rise to the level of the service. We ordered the spinach artichoke dip. If you love spinach, this is your dip. It was almost entirely spinach greens! But we wanted something more dip-like. The tortilla chips were good but because the dip was so heavy, we felt like we had to fight the dip just to get a bite to eat.

I ordered the build your own burger while my wife ordered the three tacos. I ordered my burger cooked "medium" but when it arrived, the outside of the burger was blackened to the point of tasting burnt. The toppings that came with the burger were fresh and generous but that couldn't overcome the burnt taste. I don't want a crunch when I bite! The burger came with fries which were properly cooked, firm on the outside and soft on the inside with a good flavor. My wife's gave the chicken tacos a thumbs up. The tacos came with refried beans and rice. Both had decent flavor and unlike some places which take a "more is better" approach, the portion sizes were reasonable.

Overall, we had a decent time at Brick's. On that Friday night, the service was very good. The food was mixed with the dip and burger being disappointing. We'll probably give Brick's another chance but the kitchen needs some work on providing a better quality dining experience.

Been here twice now. Gastropub?? No way.  Both times, it was exceedingly loud, and food was VERY below average. Decent place for just a drink (if you don't mind not being able to hear your companions and the slow service) but honestly - avoid the menu. Food/meat quality poor, tastes very much like premade frozen items  that have been microwaved prior to serving. Want a burger? Go to the Sports Den. Want a burrito - more flavor at taco bell. Want a good beer? Go to bricks.

This was a bad experience from start to finish. I have had lunch at Bricks a couple of times with guys from work. So when my wife and I wanted a Saturday night dinner out I thought I would give them a try.

We get there about 7:30 and the hostess tells us there will be a 10-15 minute wait. Not bad. What do you expect on a Saturday night? After about 10 minutes she seats us and that is the very last thing that goes right.

After about 10 minutes I have to go back up to the hostess and see about getting a server as we don't even have water yet. She gets us someone, we order drinks and my wife asks for a water with lemon (remember that it is a real adventure to get that sneaky lemon).

After a couple of minutes she brings the drinks and asks us if we are ready to order. We order some nachos and my wife asks for some lemon for her water.

After a bit she comes back to get our order. They have ribs on the menu and they are highlighted as a specialty. I ask the waitress about them and find out that they are out. OK. *sigh*  They also have a section dedicated to Mexican food. So I settle on a steak burrito with cheese sauce instead. And again my wife asks for lemon for her water. I start to wonder if they are out of them as well. My wife orders a ground beef burrito.

The nachos come and finally she manages to hunt down a sneaky lemon for my wife's water. The nachos are OK. Not great, but not bad.

Then our dinners come. No kidding, you could tell the ingredients were of better quality, but as for flavor, a quick run through a Taco Bell drive thru would have been better. No flavor, no spice, nothing.

I don't see me going back any time soon.

    Completely unimpressed.
Extremely slow service. No drink specials on the weekend. The staff had no knowledge of the products they have. There is very little room to move around. You don't get what you pay for. I got a chicken wrap for $8, it didn't comw qith anything. It was an extra $1.50 for fries. By the time we received our food, everything was cold.

    I will not be returning.

Nice little place. Very clean and interesting decor. Cordial service. Very accomodating. Food is good. Not exceptional but good. Have had fajitas, burgers and salads. All good. I am not usually  a big fan of soup. But their tomato basil is the best I have ever had. All their soups are freshly made. They have a very interesting martini list. All in all I have to say we will be frequent visitors.

Nice atmosphere. Love the historic wall photos. Food is a solid B. Location is an A since you can walk to many other spots along Main, Cady and Center streets. Staff? Ehhhh. They need to learn about customer service (which is really on the management). If they don't, they may not be around.

    I hope they do.

    I absolutely love Brick's!

My boyfriend and I just discovered it a couple of months ago. It's the classiest sports bar with excellent food at great prices! The burgers are amazing!

The servers are hilarious, they are super friendly and love to joke around with you. Great for lunch, dinner, or just a few drinks with friends. :)

Met friends for dinner tonight. Unimpressed.  Two of us ordered the Lake Superior white fish. Horrible.  It was dry and even worse, it was smelly.  Truly inedible.  We mentioned it to our waitress and she was very nice (no issue with the service).  She told her manager, and was told to take one dinner off the bill (not sure why both weren't credited).  Also very surprised the manager never stopped by.  Grades: Food D-, Waitstaff A, Management F.  Too bad.  I was hoping to have a new go to restaurant in Northville.

Checked it out for the first time this week.

Setup: nice looking bar, comfy booths, plenty of seating, very visually appealing. Plenty of HD TV's in a good layout including 2 projection screens.

Bar: Solid but not spectacular beer list. Good number of beers on draft including macrobrews and some local craft breweries. Prices were fair but not a steal.

Food: Menu is quite large with a good range and many appealing items. My friend and I ordered a few apps, a sandwich, and a pizza. For what you spend, you get lots and lots of food. Honestly, I was pretty surprised at the value for my $. Food was good but not spectacular but I was very happy with what I got for what I spent.

Service: Ok, servers were attentive but not incredibly fast. Some of that I'd likely attribute to the newness still.

If I lived closer I'd make it a regular stop but I'll still likely make a point to visit from time to time when I'm in the area.

As I live in Northville, and am not a huge fan of the Sport's Den I wanted to like Brick's.  Alas, it has potential but currently not somewhere I can recommend.

    Food - 3 of 5
I had the Cheesesteak sandwich. It was above average in both size and flavor. Not the highest quality of steak, but flavor was good. Onions and peppers were fresh and came through well. My fiancé had the grilled whitefish. It was bland but a good size. When she asked for some lemon to help with the flavor, the server brought some of the lemon garnish they use at the bar rather than wedges to spritz on the entrée. This brings us to the main problem we saw with the establishment...

    The Staff - 2 of 5
Upon being seated it took between 5 and 10 minutes for our drink order to be taken.  While we were there dishes were dropped three times.  UT was not a busy night and the place was pretty empty. There were plenty of staff, but none appeared to be very experienced.

    Atmosphere - 4 of 5
The place was clean, and well laid out.  Tables were not too close together and arranged well.  The TVs were Samsung HD LEDTVs with good picture. Four were positioned on each side of the rectangle shaped bar with one additional on each end. Good quality projectors displayed well on one side of the bar. Sound does not appear to be installed by an experience commercial integrator though as there were only large speakers in each corner of the bar and no smaller speakers throughout. In order to be considered for Sunday NFL they should add a few more screens in the corners.  There was also a loud noise that appeared to come from the HVAC running and the restrooms use a shared trough through the wall as a sink.  Kinda weird.

I am hoping some of these issues are because the place is new, I will update my review in time if improvement occurs.

My wife and I stopped in here to watch the MSU game after browsing a couple shops in downtown Northville. It's a real nice looking place with a huge bar and built in stage. The rear wall is all brick which I guess ties to the name? I don't know that story. They have about ten tables on an outdoor patio on Main St. with umbrellas and heaters! The ceilings are high but I noticed they have sound baffles hanging all over to absorb the sound, great idea.

There is a dozen 50 inch TVs and two 10 foot screen's that were all tuned to sports! The waitress said they have the "NFL Ticket" as well.

On Thursday and Friday evening they have Dueling Pianos. On Saturdays they have local live entertainment.

We just had drinks but the menu looked great and included a good selection of Mexican, Seafood, Pasta's and Steaks. We were told the Chimichanga's were fantastic. The prices were descent, considering the location on Main St.

We will be returning to catch a show and a meal!
