This bar has changed hands many times in the last 5 or 6 years so hopefully there will be some stability with the current owners. A very long and narrow space about the width of three bowling lanes, however it has character. It can get as loud as a bowling ally too. I'm guessing the kitchen is pretty limited o space as it always seems to be a long wait for your food order. We had lunch on Saturday and despite a fairly small crowd, it still took quite a while to get our food. The food has always been pretty good here. I had the blacken chicken which was cooked just right and nicely seasoned.
Review Source:Bricks has become a regular place for us to hit up. They recently changed the menu, and last night I tried their cream cheese wontons, cheese wedges, and mild boneless wings. The cream cheese wontons were awesome, they had some tomato and basil mixed in and the sauce it comes with is SO good. A little heat, a little sweet. nom nom nom. Cheese wedges are like mozzarella sticks, only better. Cheesier and I like the shape :) and again the dipping sauce was really good! Bartender was awesome too. Place is always packed on all you can eat wings night (Tuesdays).
Review Source:I've gone to Bricks for over 5 years and it has always been a great place to stop into for food and drink. I prefer the upper level seating because it is quieter and you can look down on the tables on the first floor which is fun. The food is very good and the variety goes beyond bar food, they always have specials on food or drinks going on, mostly wells and domestics but if that's your thing it works out. It gets very, very crowded and loud on the weekends because of how small the place is but it's still possible to get a table for a group.
Review Source:Now reopened under stellar management and re-gearing toward a more professional crowd- which downtown CR very much needs. I didn't used to be much of a fan prior to the recent re-opening, but things have changed very much for the better. Fine-tuning their menu both for drinks and for food, so if you have some helpful thoughts you can help make this place even better. The owner and the current staff are quite attentive and open to feedback which is refreshing. This is quickly becoming a cozy, locally owned and operated place! Definitely deserves a new visit if you haven't been there in a while. Wine pours are generous, prices are fantastic, and some of the food selections are out of this world! Strongly recommend you give the "spin dip" a try~ the creamiest spinach dip I've ever had! I was there tonight with 5 people, and we all left very pleased with the quality of service even though it was busy, and very full from our well prepared meals.
Review Source:I used to love coming to this place. The wings were really good and really cheap. The beer was cheap. The atmosphere was and is still very relaxing. My dislike is the fact that the food has gone dramatically down. The wing sauces aren't the same anymore and are actually pretty bad. Still a nice place to go and drink but it's a bar in CR.
