I went here expecting barbeque and was seriously disappointed. THIS RESTAURANT SHOULD NOT BE UNDER THE BARBEQUE CATEGORY. They had one barbecue pork sandwich on the menu. When I asked how it was prepared the waitress told me it was slow cooked all day. I couldn't see how since the grill and a microwave seemed to be the only equipment they had. The cook got my pork (from the refrigerator?) and its boat container placed it in the microwave. I know some restaurants use the microwave, but I don't need to know. I don't own a microwave and try to avoid using them when away from home. If you don't mind the microwave then the sandwich wasn't that bad. My partner got a hamburger and it was pretty decent (the only reason for three stars). I also thought it was expensive for a microwaved sandwich. Overall I didn't think this was the best. I'd go back for a burger and I did enjoy the Daytona race vibe.
Review Source:The burgers are still excellent, however, the quality of the service has really started slipping. On our last visit, our waitress disappeared. So, my fiance went looking for her and he found her outside, smoking.
So, I think next time I'm in the mood for a Brickyard burger, I'll opt for take out.
Mark my word, you will never find another Burger better in Daytona Beach than you will at Brickyard.
Don't let the exterior or the address fool you. It's an A frame building inbetween Ridgewood and Nova on ISB. After I moved, it is the one thing I crave every time I visit home.
Brickyard will always be the top of my list of Daytona dining, and probably one of the only places I nominated to be on a Foodnetwork show - Diners Drive Ins and Dives.
Burgers here are really the best I've found in Daytona Beach! Â They compare to the Breakers in NSB for being fresh, chargrilled and juicy. Â I'm glad I tried this place and have been back here now 3 times and had the burger each time....also shared this place with my co-workers who have enjoyed also.
Review Source:Brickyard is very good, but is not the best burger I have ever had. Â The restaurant/bar has a nice local feel to it with patrons bellied up to the bar and eating at the tables. Â We went on a Saturday night, so it was pretty packed. Â the service was excellent, and the burger and wings were very good. Â Lots of beer choices on tap. Â It is a must try when visiting.
Review Source:The best chicken wings I've ever tasted. Our server was a peach. The place has an authentic atmosphere. Make sure you order your wings, "Pimp it and Grill it." It doesn't matter how hot the ladies are at the Winghouse because their wings don't even come close to the wings at Brickyard.
Review Source:Though they have a rather large, well varied menu selection, it is as a straight forward burger joint, that the Brickyard is about as good as it gets. The sirloin  1/2 pounder is one of the best tasting, most delicious burgers found anywhere. For the taste of the burger alone, I might have only gone to four plus stars but then when you add into that mix the best, most friendly wait staff one could ever hope to find along with the ambiance of others who are there to relish in the taste of the burger, it really is about as good as it gets.
Though their other food is good, it's the burger that rules.
I had a cheeseburger and wings here with a large group (10 people). Â My cheeseburger, with provolone cheese and grilled onions, was fantastic - at the top of the list of any I've had. Â Perfectly cooked, with a smoky, seared flavor from the flame grill, and the onions were *under* the cheese, so they didn't fall out as I was eating.
The wings were excellent. Â They were first deep-fried, and then finished on the flame grill. Â I had the hot garlic sauce.
The service was excellent for our group, too.
Born and Raised in Florida, been all over the state eating the best burgers and this place beats them all, hands down! Very cool bar atmosphere with biker chicks as waitresses but they are all sweethearts! Their wings are some of the only ones I will eat anywhere but their burgers are sensational. Fun place to watch a football game or a race on TV. Not very kid friendly but who cares. The burgers are well worth it.
