I had GREAT ribs there yesterday - fall-off-the-bone tender with a nice not-sweet BBQ sauce. Perfectly grilled half baked potato. Grilled garlic bread was a little too tough for my liking. Steamed veggies - perfect. Mom had a grilled shrimp platter over rice that she said was very good also. She enjoyed the cole slaw with just the right tanginess. My only complaint is that all the Bru's Rooms need a little more jazzing up - too much darkness that usually makes me think they're not so clean even though they are. Just sayin!
Review Source:Horrible food, even the chicken wings are sad and small. I guess if you douse anything in that much sauce, less discerning patrons won't care. It is a bar first, eatery second. If you enjoy being screamed over by a bunch of young, first time drunks while you attempt to eat overpriced scraps, then this is the place for you.
Review Source:After reading a review from a guy that came from Miami and stopped in for drinks,
and made the comment, "didn't try the food, probably not missing much", all I have to say is, you missed the best wings you'll probably ever get! My girlfriend and I just come for the wings and beer, haven't tried anything else but we designated it as our wing place.
We went for a football game...we had excellent service at one of the bars and not so great service at the other. Outside, John (?) was very attentive and accommodating. Inside, we had a lovely red-head who brought drinks to our table, but when we attempted to get a drink at the bar- it was impossible.
The food was typical bar food (wings, burgers, skins) and the drink prices were good.
There wasn't much/any available seating tonight, but to be fair, there was a huge crowd and we'll definitely give it another shot.
Bru's room is the place to watch football on Sundays. Just make sure you arrive early enough to get a good seat. They do have plenty of seating and multiple rooms with excellent views. Â They actually have a "Jets Room" that had 10 flat screens all showing the Jets games and a huge group of 20+ Jets fans.
The wings are amazing. Probably the best in the area. Â The garlic specialty sauce was excellent. Â Beer specials are a great value. Sliders were made just right and the service/staff is excellent.
Bru's Room gives the local favorite DUFFYS a run for its money and is a clear victor for Places to watch NFL games.
Could have rated a five but I reserve that for something I really haven't found, this place is very good
The staff is courteous and very attentive, nor arguments they simply delivered.
The happy hour prices on brew are great and beer is cold and fresh.
The other surprise with our first visit here is that the food was very good, i had a burger and it was just as i order, my companion had a chicken sandwich and it was incredibly good, great bread and seasoning, and the home made chips are a must
this place is very clean and that is important in florida where this can be the exception and not the rule
pleant of tv's and they are not blasting
will come here again
I'm a huge fan of the grilled wings with minced garlic. I've probably had them dozens of times by now (even as a pick-up order to-go, on occasion). They're always great. Flavorful, with a slight touch of crispiness.
Other than that, there isn't too much else exceptional about this place. But those delicious wings alone are enough to make me a fan. I can say that the burgers are pretty good though, and the service is generally solid as well.
Don't go for the food. Don't go for the service. Don't go for the atmosphere. I have probably spent hundreds of hours here over the years, and it has never been anything but mediocre. The one thing it has going for it is that it is always busy. If you enjoy being surrounded by people and aren't picky you might enjoy yourself. I personally hope they tear this place down.
Review Source:We stopped in here two nights in a row on a recent visit to Boynton Beach from Miami. Â We come to Boynton Beach often during the Spring and Summer, and are usually looking for a place to grab a quick beer. Â Not to sound like a Miami snob, because I most definitely am not, but there are not a lot of places in Boynton to go have drinks. Nearby Del Ray, most definitley, but not Boynton. Â
Bru's Room is your typical Sports Bar-like chain, complete with the requisite pool table, an inside bar, and an outside bar. Â We decided to sit outside, as the bar inside was full. Â Our bartender, john, was quite friendly, and the tap beer was tasty an cold. Â All of the smokers are outside, but no big deal. Â Bru's Room is definitely a single's place to be seen in Boynton Beach. Â Lots of dressed up girls and guys looking for dates. Â
As far as a decent place to grab a quick beer or two, Bru's Room won't disappoint. Â Haven't tried the food, but I'm sure we were probably not missing much.
The last time I was here, the service was really bad. Â Ironically, I came back again to meet my sister and her boyfriend. Â We sat in the dining area this time.
The waitress was a young girl that was super friendly and attentive. Â Due to her awesome customer service and personality, I am back to give them a better write up. Â Â
The food is good here. Â A lot of the meals you can order without the meat. Â Except the chicken wings (obviously). Â Overall, I like their food and this girl was a great server.
When someone asks me where the BEST chicken wings are in South Florida I point them to Bru's Room. They have several locations across Broward and Palm Beach Counties. What makes the wings at Bru's stand heads and shoulders above the rest? You can get them grilled! Even DOUBLE grilled!
Don't get me wrong. I like wings made at several different South Florida establishments but when I'm pushed to pick out the ones I like the most I only think of Bru's. I start out with a basket of "buffalo chips." These are the best tasting homemade potato chips I have ever had. Add a side of the spicy ranch dipping sauce and have them served as an appetizer, before they bring out the wings. Some nice munchin!
Bru's isn't just a wing place. They have a plethora of selections including burgers, sandwiches, and ribs. We were there recently for my grandson Dylan's birthday #8. He and his little brother, Joey like this place because they are "kid friendly." They have a game room for the kids as well as kid sized menu items.
I've been to Bru's easily over fifty times and I've tried many items on the menu, but it's the wings that have me always coming back over and over again. If you have never tried "grilled" wings give Bru's a try. They will probably have you coming back over and over again for more.
I'm out of my normal partying area code tonight I'm up in palm beach with my two beautiful cousins and guess what it's ladies night so drinks are one dollar!!! Let me say this..this is a fairly big sports bar it has two outside patios for all the smokers, inside has one main bar with a pool table behind it. Like all sports bars they were decked out with tv's all over so you can't miss anything but they did have two large projector screens that was visable from anywhere in the bar. They even had a larger room in the back that i didnt notice. To be honest i really cant tell you how the service was because i order my drink and walked off and went straight to the pool table its like a magnet for me and i spent 80% of my night there but i can say the wings was baning (but not as good as mine) and the long beach ice tea that i had was good but they didnt use cranberry they used pineapple but hell it was still better than usual and it was only $5!!! They only thing negative i can say about this place is two chicks started fighting which threw the enitre vibe off and they sprayed mase so that had every one coughing, but you cant blame the establishment for that one you have no control of the dolks who come spend there money with you. Besides the weak ass fight this place good with me.
Review Source:We go here frequently because we get a 15% off discount with our YMCA membership and kids eat free on Tuesdays and half off on Thursdays. Â We love their wings, fried dill pickles and sweet potato fries, but that is pretty much all we ever eat here. Â The service can be hit or miss for the most part and I see a lot of turn over in staff. Â It's your average sports bar with awesome drink specials.
Review Source:**IF YOU HATE LOUD NOISES AND KIDS DON'T COME ON TUESDAYS**
That pretty much sums up my first experience at Bru's Room. After a long day of work, I just wanted to chill out, have a few drinks and some wings. My co workers have always raved about the wings about Bru's Room so I decided to give it a try.
We were seated immediately and I noticed how busy it was for a Tuesday night. Then I saw a huge sign on the wall that says Tuesdays are Kids Eat Free Day and I understood. There were kids EVERYWHERE. If you are looking for a place to kick back, especially on a Tuesday night, don't come here.
Our waitress was great personality wise but there were a few mistakes. Understandable since she was in training. I guess I should have corrected her mistakes so she wouldn't make them in the future. We ordered grilled wings but received fried. We ordered BBQ sauce and hot sauce and only received BBQ sauce. My fiancé ordered the fish and chips with extra tarter sauce and they didn't bring that. The fish batter was slipping from the fish which made it hard to eat. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich which was dry, tasteless and slathered in BBQ sauce.  The wings were okay. Not as great as they were hyped up to be. The only saving grace of the meal were the Buffalo chips which are curly potato shavings, freshly fried and seasoned.
I will give it another try since I am a sucker like that but definitely not on a Tuesday night.
Always a good time here! Â I came here with a group of friends to watch the game yesterday and it was fun. Â Half of us were for the Dolphins and well, the other half not so much. Â I had some spinach dip with chips for an appetizer with the hubby and I got the grilled chicken caesar salad topped with a nice portion of eggs and croutons. Â Yummy! Â Of course, let's not forget about the 2 captain morgan pitchers I consumed as well. Â The first one consisted of rum and coke while the other one was captain and ginger. Â I was feeling quite well after those and especially after the Dolphins won again the Jets before leaving. Â Oy! Â :)
Review Source:Bru's Room has everything you could want in a decent, neighborhood sports bar. Â This place is exceptional in how unexceptional it is. Â I've eaten here dozens of times and cannot for the life of me remember a single item that I have consumed. Â I know I was satisfied and I know I wasn't disgusted, which is very nice. Â Solid 3 stars.
On the action-movie-parallel-satisfaction-scale, this place is The Quest.
I love this place.. The food is good for typical sport's bar type food and the wings are some of the best wings around but if you get them X-Hot believe me they are Hot I think they were the hottest wings I have ever had.. But they have great prices and great lunch specials.. Â Also most nights are themed which I like, they have Trivia Nights and Beer Pong its like an adult playground that reminds you that you are back in college.. The Atmosphere is typical Sport's Bar and the place is Huge the Wait Staff is very Friendly and Fast..... Â If your looking for a good Sport's Bar I am starting to like them way better then Duffy's now.. Â I highly Recommend them...
Review Source:Ok place. Good trivia on Tuesday nights, but starts early at 7pm. Food is typical bar food. Their sliders are pretty good. Beer is cold, always important. Happy hour for half price drinks after 10pm daily is nice. It's a good place to grab a seat at the bar with a beer & watch a game.
Review Source:The wings are always good. I've never had bad service the many times I've been there. There isn't anything special about the interior, except there are TV's in every corner, so you won't miss anything.
This place can't be beat to sit, watch a game, sip some beer, and eat wings. Try the Buffalo Chips... they are awesome!
The food is better than usual for this sort of place, but the service is worse than usual. Â The appetizer sampler was awesome, the wings were cooked perfectly, not underdone, the onion rings were decent, and the chicken strips were heavenly. Â Obviously freshly battered. Â
We sat outside, which was loud and crazy, but getting any attention from the server was difficult, to say the least. Â In the end, I had to have the ladies with me flag him down.
