Buckhorns

Great little neighborhood bar.  It seems like there are a lot of regulars.  Every time I have been I have seen the same 3 or 4 people there.  Nice enough.  Kind of a hunting theme but not really going on.  Nice brunett bartender, seemed really sweet.  Prices on par with all bars I have visited.  Pool table.  Normal bar.  Worth visiting to get out of the house with kids if you are in the area.  We stopped on the way back to Reno from Pyramid.

Thankfully, they were open on a Christmas Eve rush to get out of the house.  I'm not sure if it was just the result of holiday joy but everyone was great and the owner even stopped by to say hello.  There are a couple of regulars who are great pool players willing to pick up  a game (although the table is smaller than regulation).  It's a couple of steps above a dive bar but I feel I should warn you about all of the animal head trophies.
