    Warning NOT GLUTEN FREE.
    11/4/2012
I made it a point to come here the night before to ask questions about gluten-free options. The waitress was very nice and said they could offer choices. We came back the next night and brought our own GF soy sauce because they did not have any. We asked so many questions to be sure that the food would be GF. After I was halfway through my sushi, one piece toppled over and I noticed it was brown on the bottom and was sitting in a sauce (I had not noticed it before because the plates were black). The chef said "Well, the lemon sauce is listed on the menu." Like, I should have known. Like it was MY fault. I totally freaked out! I could not believe after ALL those questions and us being the ONLY people in the place that I got glutenized! My friend did too. She had asked about the tempura batter. The chef said "Of course it is GF. The label is in Japanese." I did not have a good feeling about this, so I did not eat the tempura. Needless to say my friend and I both got sick. I mean really sick. Gluten Free is NOT a fad or a trend for either of us. If you have a gluten allergy it is not a choice. You HAVE to be gluten free. Celiac disease is not a choice. You are born with it, there is no cure nor drugs to help you.I write this review more than a week after this incident and I am still sick. If you are on a GF diet please do not eat here. They will not take care of you. I am posting this a second time because my previous review was removed (?)

I can't praise this place enough. The menu is really refreshingly different, but still maintains just the right amount of familiarity. "Asian fusion" with an emphasis an fusion. I have tried almost everything on the menu and it has all been wonderful. The service is always exceptional, too. Here's the kicker: They serve sushi until midnight! You can't beat it!
Firecracker shrimp and "Kaya" are my two favorites.
Wide beer and wine selection, from Belgiums to ciders, and I don't think there's a beer over $4.
The atmosphere is nice and relaxing, and there is live music on Tuesdays.
It's located on the back end of Sally's by the Sea Store, former location of Sally's Backside.
Do yourself (and me) a favor and come try this place for yourself- I want to see it last!
