The service was horrendous, the only explaination is that management allows it. Â I nearly bumped into a waitress walking with a full tray behind me. Â It was packed standing room only. Â This waitress glared and gave me the evil eye like I was in a high school hallway and bumped into a bully. Â She was glaring for at me a VERY long time. Â I should have left then. Â I shouldn't have let it get to me, but was very intimidated and scared. Â Even though i smiled and tried to brush it off I Â thought this girl was going to come after me for not seeing her. Â She was behind me, she should have looked out for me. Â This girl was of some ethnicity other than Caucasian. Â To add to my terrible rum runners experience was a terror of a bar tender. Â She apparently thought I was not going to leave her a tip, because I took the $2 change she gave me and took it off the bar. Â I was going to add to it, is why I took it off the bar. Â Probably not a good choice, but I did have a few drinks so I wasn't 100%. Â The bartender girl slammed her hand on the bar and cocked her head looked me in the eyes and said "OH AND THANK YOU VERY MUCH". And stormed off. Â These two girls ruined my experience. Â I will be contacting management about these two girls. Â I will never go back.
Review Source:Rum Runners was a pleasant surprise.
The one man "I can play anything" guy was just getting started when we arrived in the early evening (6ish), he was good, a lot of fun and truly did play all the songs we requested or at least a piece of a song like Eddie Murphy's Party All The Time-yes, we tried to stump him :) I guess he's the warm up for the dueling piano show, which we didn't stick around to see. We had a 3 year old with us and you could tell the vibe was starting to change as the night went on, not in a bad way just not for a youngster.
The food & drinks were good and reasonably priced, the service excellent. I'm sure I won't come again until more out of towners visit but when they do this will be on my list of places to bring them.
