I've been to this particular location twice now, and I can't imagine anything improving about it anytime soon. I hate the fact that I can't enjoy this location like the many other BWWs out there. Don't get me wrong, the food is pretty good which is the only reason I gave any stars, however this location is ALWAYS an absolute mess.

I was in town visiting my family when my brother and I decided to go grab a late night drink, we walked in and saw what look like a dining room post stampede. There were dirty tables everywhere (the place wasn't even busy so excusing that to a busser maybe falling behind is just not acceptable), chairs strewn about, napkins and trash ALL over the floor, it was not an inviting scenario. My brother and I bypassed the dining room straight to the bar only to be welcomed by the exact same scenario but filled with drunken idiots.

Do these bartenders/managers KNOW when to cut people off? or are they blinded by making an extra buck? We were pretty tolerant and patient with everything given the fact that there aren't many places to go get food/drink late night.

Honestly, I wouldn't even be tempted to write a review about this place, brushing it off to simply ,"another great concept that the animals in Bakersfield take over and trash" However our server/bartender (Brittany) was downright rude, interrupting me brother and I numerous times asking if we were "ready for our check yet" before last call had even been announced. CLEARLY we were chatting and were in the middle of our second cocktail, and ordering more food, to interrupt and quite bluntly ask, "are you guys ready for your check yet?"  not once but twice was extremely rude. I wanted to notify the manager, however he was busy playing zookeeper to the animals, who were clearly well over their limit just 5 minutes before we were all to be kicked out (they were closing), STILL ordering shots well after last call!!

My brother and I both work in the service industry, and both agreed there were numerous things that went wrong that evening, rude service, poorly managed dining room, unkempt atmosphere....too bad for Bakersfield

Maybe I just dont appreciate sports bars... but I would rather go to Hooters over this place. Its too dark, loud and its honestly like visiting a party house. Maybe thats what it's for? This place just seems to lack organization. Also, the wait times are horribly long. Too far of a drive for too little.

Portions are a bit small for the pricing, happy hour specials are nice.

We went there on a Saturday night.  We were prepared for a long wait.  But what made the wait hard to take was a soccer team party taking up about six tables, they had finished their meals LONG before.  Parents just sitting there taking up space while their adolescent boys took over the place.  It just didn't seem like a smart way to run a business letting $$$ paying potential customers wait and wait while these people pass time like bumps on a log.  If there had been any effort made to accomodate us, the wait may have been worth it.  I'll never know.

Good spot to watch a game. They have a lot of beers on tap, but pretty much the basics. The other domestics you have not heard of are cheap and not that good. No exports on tap except the basics. The menu is weak with a bunch of fried garbage. I get the mango habenero wings and they are delicious. Never on happy hour though. So expect on spending some cash. Avoid Laker games, and football games, the crowd is mostly ghetto mexicans.

My husband and I have been to the Buffalo Wild Wings in Burbank, CA -- and really enjoyed the wings there, especially when they have the traditional wings promotion on Tuesdays! So, what the heck -- how could this Buffalo Wild Wings in Bakersfield be any different, right? :)

We were lucky enough to arrive during happy hour (3pm-6pm) on Monday and ordered the following:

Happy hour prices at only $3 for each appetizer below:
-Cheeseburger sliders w/ fries (2 sliders) - we couldn't believe that for only $3, we got 2 legitimate sized sliders and fries in a basket! 3.5 stars
-Mozzarella sticks - about 5-7 sticks w/ tomato sauce, 3 stars
-Fried pickles - round pickle slices in batter, 3 stars
-Onion rings - good portion of onion rings, about 10 rings, 3 stars
-Chili con queso dip w/ chips - we enjoyed the cheese dip (with chili), could have done w/out the chips. I dipped the fries & onion rings in the dip instead :) 3.5 stars

Strawberry margarita - only $3.50 at happy hour prices, i got it blended and it was pretty light in alcohol content, 3.5 stars
312 Wheat Ale - my husband ordered this, only $4.95, thought it was good, 3.5 stars

    Regular prices for the following:
-Mango Habanero wings (traditional) - very spicy! we always prefer the traditional bone-in wings over the boneless ones...just tastes better.
-Jammin' Jalapeño wings (traditional) - it's sizzling! couldn't really taste the jalapeno flavor, but this definitely had a spicy kick to it!
    Wings = 4 stars

Service = 4 stars, the server we had was friendly, attentive, and quick to refill our water/drinks/take our order.

Overall, we give this restaurant 4 stars because the wings are reliably flavorful and they have unbeatable happy hour prices, with good service!

Good place for sports, wings and large crowds. Always busy and filled with folks no matter when you go. Good selection of flavored on wings. Asian zing and Hot are my personal favorites. Friends and I have sat at the bar area more than the dining area. Service is ok for bring busy. Televisions galore...no matter where you look or sit. You will never miss an action or play.

I'd rather drive across town, 30 mins away, to be at BWW to watch sports events and have some beers and wings, rather than the place on Rosedale (name omitted) that attempts to offer the same ambience. Food here always comes out hot from the kitchen, beers are always cold. I can't give them 4 or 5 stars because sometimes the servers are busy or overwhelmed and the service suffers because of it. On more than one occasion I've had to wait 10 minutes plus just to get a beer, even when sitting at the bar area :(

You know when someone responds to a question with "eehhhhh..." and wobbles their hand back and forth in a "so-so" kind of motion? That was my opinion of BWW when walking away from my first time there today. It definitely wasn't horrible but it definitely wasn't great.

My mom and I went today at the peak of lunchtime - around 12:45 - and it was 95% empty, which was fine. The atmosphere is loud and busy as the walls are just covered with TV screens playing every sports channel imaginable - which would be cool on a night for a big football game or MMA match, but at 1pm on a Tuesday it just made it hard to hear the hostess and waitress or hold a conversation across the table.

The food was alright. We got two appetizers: fried pickles and the jalapeño poppers. Both of those were decent (but really, anything deep fried and dipped in ranch is decent, right?). We both opted for their chicken strips and fries, mine were Spicy Garlic and my mom chose the Mango Habanero (she likes spice and heat). It was pretty basic food... The kind of chicken strip and fries basket you'd expect at a Denny's. I enjoyed the Spicy Garlic sauce but when it was time to take away leftovers in boxes, my mom chose to ditch the Mango sauce and go with the Spicy Garlic as well. She just didn't like the taste. I'd be interested to try some of their other options... I think I would have enjoyed their Jerk Chicken Sandwich much more.

The waitress was really nice. Checked on us often and never let us go thirsty.

The food wasn't too pricy. With two appetizers, two entrees and sodas it came to about $35.

I wasn't blown away but I'd give it another shot, but probably at another time when I go to watch a game, eat some fried junk and down a few brews. I did like the atmosphere, just not at the particular time of day we went... It just seemed a little inappropriate for as empty as it was.

The food was good, not great, but for the money I would go somewhere else.  Disappointed with the service and the amount of food you get for the price. I think I will go back to Red Robbin.

Happy hour is great. The three dollar menu is fantastic, hamburger and fries is a lot for three bucks. Well Drinks, beer and margarita  for three dollars. If you get the hot wings sample the sauces first.

We had a date night and went here, great wings and ultra spicey, sat at a table that was by the bar, the TV be everywhere round here NAW. We liked the food, the breaded pickles were not good though. They were not as crisp as thought by the menu pictures. The pictures showed a hard crust on the pickle that covered it, the ones we got were soft.... so soft....nice and soft but not in the nice and soft food way. DONT WANT NO SOFT FOOOOD ROUND HERE NAW. The waiter waitress came around to give us the precious juice a lot. The parking lot was filled with peoples cars like they live there. People living out of cars is disgusting AND IM TAKING THIS TO THE SUPREME COURT!

Oh Bdubs, at least you're consistent.

    Pros:
+ Wings!  More importantly, wings that don't completely suck!  Something that the farther you get from buffalo seems to be true.
    + Tons of sauce flavors
    + A fairly diverse menu
    + Decent beer specials
    + Tons of TVs

    Cons
    - Unless of course you're referencing the boneless wings, then they need a bit of work.  Too much breading that has too much difficulty with the sauce and chicken.
    - Actually to be honest, despite the number of offerings, a lot of the food is trial and error.
    - So many sauces that they're really hit and miss.  Classic case of doing too many things and not doing any of them well.
    - The service is a bit spotty.

Overall, it's a pretty standard bdubs.  On a night when they have a wing special, it's worth heading over to, or perhaps a game that you'd like to see.  Come here with low expectations for chain standardized food offerings, and you'll leave decently satisfied.

I went on an afternoon before i left bakersfield.
The location was pretty far out from the center of town. I had to drive like almost 10 minutes i think lol
The place was pretty big, and clean.
Our waitress was very nice and everything, but when it was time to leave, it was hard to get the check! lol
The food was good though, i got the sampler, and they got most of it right.
I'd recommend this place ONLY if you're close by, and you really need some wings. lol

So.. I saw this place being built and as the structure was being built, so was my anticipation for the food!  What a huge disappointment.  This place is extremely overrated, I will never go here again.  The food was literally inedible.

My group and I decided to order the fried pickles and they were so salty we couldn't even eat them!   My poor little sister who's 12 years old didn't want to be rude and not eat her food but she had no choice because her flatbread was ridiculously salty.

    Be warned.

Don't waste your time waiting, the food is not worth it at all.  You're much better off going to Wing Stop!

Okay been in her a few times since my original review.  My favorite flavors are spicy garlic, wild, and salt and vinegar.  The last time I was in there, the service was ridiculously slow.  They took about 20 minutes to take our order and then took another 20 minutes to bring out the drinks only!  Then another 20 minutes to bring out the food.  Crazy!  I think their wing prices are high.

My bf and I went for Tuesday wings and boy oh boy best wings in our area. Mind you , we went during the day! It was super fast and the wings were perfect .  The salt & vinegar wings were different and amazing. We also love ranger ipa which they have on tap! A new local favorite. Not the best service in the evening and at that time, wings aren't consistent either but awesome mid day. And the waitresses did not know what a drifter beer was which was another beer on tap and kept bringing us the wrong beer which was annoying since the manager claims the waitresses have "years of experience" but overall good place. New fav for wings (ON A GOOD DAY)

I wanted to like this place... I really did... And in any other city I probably would... But Bako just does not do this concept any justice.

We went on a Monday rainy night and were immediately seated inside the dining area. I came for wings so when I asked I forsaked the beer and ordered a diet coke and my lady friend ordered some kind of pear cider (which they ran out of at half a pint). We went with the 24c on the boneless wings. What's cool here is that you have your freedom on the choice of sauces and there are a quite of few, this is one thing that it has over other wing places and is probably the only added plus. We ordered the thai curry, jammin jalapeno, caribbean jerk, hot bbq, and none of which were really all that hot. I order the ATOMIC wings when I go to wing stop so you know I like wings that make me hate life at 12am. The service was so-so but we enjoyed playing countdown while we were waiting to get our chicken wing on.

Overall, I love wings, but I am not crazy about this place at all. It's A-ok but nothing that's going to leave you wanting more.... Dan Patrick... how could you do me like this?

terrible service, terrible food, and terrible atmosphere.

where should I start (and I'll try to make this short and sweet):

It was my understanding that the place is new, and therefore getting lots of traction in the bakersfield area.  so the fam and I decided to go.

Got seated right away +1 star (since it was explained to be that wait time could be painful).

now that we sat, sat, sat, sat.... you get the point.  No service.  It took the waitress (no lies) over 15 min just to get some menus and some water going.

ok, got that out of the way, and it was time to order.  so we wait, and wait, and wait, again :(.  this better good i though.

NO LIE over 40 min for our food to come out.  meanwhile, me and kids were freezing our back off cuz they the AC on blast.

finally the food come out, and it was mediocre at best.  Greasy burgers, greasy fries.  The only thing that was half way decent was the wings.

the stars, aren't for the food, or the service.  it was for the fact that we got a seat right away, and they had big entertaining TVs all around.

Otherwise, it's not good for kids, since they, and for some strange reason, decide to play uncensored hiphop music.  That's cool for a sports bar i guess.  But if i'm eating with my 4 year old nephews and niece, the last thing I need to hear is smacking hoes, killin' fool while having dinner.

    WILL NOT BE BACK :(

The only thing truly working in BWW's favor is their hours of operation. Where else can you go for wings and beer and sit in an actual restaurant and not a bar? Late night dining is something I was born for.

Kevin P. and I decided that we needed beer and wings a little after 8 on a Thursday. Never deny a once fat girl her right to wings on a weekday night. So we decided to take the jaunt and head south. After driving for 10 minutes it felt like we were in no mans land. Past White Lane we went, territory unknown for us Rosedalians. Sams Club? We have a Sam's Club?

Once found, it was nice to see it not horrendously packed. We were seated promptly, but found ourselves in one of those awkward front of the house 2 person tables. The kind that makes you feel like you're on display? After about 5 minutes of uneasiness, Kevin made the effort of asking the host for a booth when next available. After a decent amount of time, and staring down a group of kids that were finished with their food hours ago, we finally were seated in a more comfortable section.

When ordering our beers, there was an issue with Kevin's order (he always has that luck!). Not only was the waitress unaware of the kind of beer they had on tap, but when finally figured out, was unavailable. Oh well, back to the drawing board. What I found most amusing was that Bud Light Lime was listed as a craft brew. Interesting.

The wings were ok. I actually found them to be kind of tough, and the coating to be really hard my teeth! While the flavor was decent, the rest was just ok. We chose a 24c wingless with Thai Curry, Hot BBQ, Honey BBQ, and Jamaican jerk. The latter being one of the best. The only thing I wish they offered was flavor coordinated dipping sauces. Most of the wings were super dry and could have used it. By far, the best part was were the fried pickles. It's odd, but really works.

Overall, it's not bad. Not great. If I want wings I'll probably hit up wingstop.

I really like this Returant in General.  It is a a great place to watch sports and enjoy some great chicken wings.  It is going to be very crowded but this is no different than any other Bakersfield resturant.  I used to eat at Buffalo Wild Wings (BW3s) a lot when I lived in Texas.

Went here last week with a group of friends at like seven on a Wednesday. Not sure how long the wait was because they had a table when I got there. Let me say that our first waitress SUCKED!!!! I forgot her name but she was horrid. She had an attitude and actually hit my cousin's head on "accident" while serving the food. Only like two of us actually liked our food of six. One order was wrong and the waitress didn't wanna fix it at first. I got a wrap that was alright. Our second waitress was Annaka I think? She was really nice and WAY better than the first one. Overall the place is alright not better than hooters, house of wings, or wing stop. Tvs are like the only cool thing like a million of them. Even over the urinals!! ha

What a waste... My co-worker and I met for dinner here on a Thursday night. It was very busy because it was a game night, so we requested a table and decided to find a place in the bar to wait.  2 hours later... Our buzzer finally went off.  We had already ordered our food in the bar and eaten, so we just stayed where we were.

We were there during happy hour, but when our bill came none of the happy hour prices reflected on the receipt.  When we brought this up to our bartender, she stated that it would be too big of a hassle to change it and she would need a manager or someone to override and it was just gonna be too hard.  But, she would give us both a free beer instead.  We declined, stating that we weren't interested in any beers but rather a correction to our ticket.

After about 30 mins we searched out another server who could help us, they stated that our order probably wasn't entered until after happy hour ended so there was nothing anyone can do.  Our total bill was $50 for two of us.  We each had 1 beer (which we couldn't get a happy hour price on) and 1 appetizer (which was on the $3 happy hour menu but not reflected in the price).  Needless to say... her tip was included in the overage we paid for subpar service and horrible food.

The bartenders were very unorganized and didn't really know what they were doing.  They didn't even know what was on the menu... At one point a customer came up and asked if a certain beer was on special and she said she could take her order and let her know if it was... How can this business run when nobody who works here knows the menu????

As others have stated, the orders came out wrong and were sent back.  Our orders were wrong too... but I didn't send anything back because I was terrified I'd never see it again.  All in all the place was mediocre at best... and I really have no intention of coming back again.  The servers really don't have any interest in helping you with any choices... I actually felt like I was an inconvenience in their day.

But I did notice that they were much more pleasant when dealing with their friends/family or other patrons that they were familiar with.  Kind of annoying if you as me!

I was here shortly after they opened. I should have waited to come since our waitress had no idea what she was doing or how to read the menu. I wanted a dry rub on my wings but she said it was just for the fries. After i ordered she told another customer they could habe it on their wings, but on top of another sauce. That's not how.the menu reads. I may try this place again as long as.I do not get the 60 year old waitress again.  The fries were dry and not good, but the jalepeno wings were delish.

I came here with some friends late one night, like 11pm or so. It was not only expensive, but it was boring in there. It was a Saturday night and nothing was going on in there. We tried some wings and I thought they were okay. Truthfully, the wings weren't any better quality than Hooters or Wingstop, but were priced higher than those two places. I didn't drink any of the alcohol, so I don't know if that was a better value or not. I will willingly go back here with friends because they have large-screens to show games on, but I won't be suggesting it ever again.

Yet ANOTHER chain sports bar in Bakersfield. For some odd reason, my brother really, really wanted to go while we were both in town over Thanksgiving, and seeing how it was his birthday, I agreed. I like chicken wings as much as anyone, so how bad could it be?
First of all, I came on the Friday after Thanksgiving, so I don't know what sports events were going on, but all the tvs were turned on to some sporting event, so clearly it gets busy on game nights. We came during happy hour and had no trouble finding a table in the bar area, so that was good. Service was spotty, perhaps because it was busy? The soft pretzels were a waste of carbs. The honey mustard dip did the pretzel no favors, and the queso "cheese" dip was marginally better. We ordered 18 wings with spicy garlic, original hot, and garlic parmesan. The spicy garlic was good, the original hot was surprisingly too spicy (and I can handle my heat) and drenched in sauce, and not in a good way. I can't speak for the parmesean garlic, but my bro seemed to enjoy it. It was so incredibly loud, that it was difficult to have a conversation. I hope my brother's curiosity is satisfied because I can't see myself going back.  I will say that they had an impressive list of draft beer for a wings place.

    More 3.5...

Anyways, service was friendly, a whole lot of beer on tap, and lots of flavors.

The wings were average at best. The flamin' and wild flavors weren't impressive, I had 6 of each and didn't break a sweat.

For two tall domestics, 12 wings, and potato wedges (which were awesome) it was $20 plus tip.  The wings come with a choice of a few carrots or a few pieces of celery.  So you have to order french fries or wedges on the side (which disappointed me.)

I'll probably be back to try more of the menu since there was actually quite a bit on it.  Also, you can try and sit on the patio for a shorter wait.

The wings were good but not necessarily worthy of a four star review. However the combination of the food, service and atmosphere is what made my first Buffalo Wild Wings experience a four star one. When I first arrived for dinner on Friday night (game 7 of the World Series) the place had a line out of the door. Normally I would never wait long to get a table anywhere but I was lucky in that I had a friend there already. I just walked in and sat down.

I had a few different flavored wings. The Hot which had good flavor and a good amount of heat and the Garlic Parmesan which was surprisingly good. The Blazin wings (hottest variety) are quite hot but not as hot as I thought they might be. I was able to eat some without too much discomfort. Only a few tears. The Asian Zing are good but a little too sweet for me. I'm a big curry fan but their Thai Curry wings were not good. Stay away. They have a large selection of beers on tap and some which I've never seen before. Try the Mojave Red.

The service was excellent. Our waitress checked up on us regularly and we never felt pressured to leave. We kept ordering food and drinks four about 4 hours. She was very friendly, attentive and couldn't have done a better job with the crowd that she had to take care of. I'll definitely come back here but try to stay away from the crowds.

Oh, and did I mention the TV's? No matter which way my head turned I had countless televisions with the game on them. It was great!

Well I have been here twice in the past two days. It just opened yesterday.  So they decided to make their grand opening on a Monday, with Monday Night Football AND the WORLD SERIES going on.  Checked in with the front desk and the girl said the wait to be 45 mins to an hour.  Two hours later I asked a friend who I saw at first arrival and he said he had been waiting almost three hours.  Oh well, at least they have a decent beer selection.  We left just figuring this was due to a busy night of sports on TV (they have over 60 TVs on all at once) as well as a typical Bakersfield hard opening of a restaurant.

I came back today for lunch, ate at the bar = No wait.  It was still packed. Service was good (they just opened so you have to give them a break) and the food was delicious. I was a little disappointed that my "wrap" came with chips and salsa as the side and fried would be an add'l charge. Not what I expected at $8.25 for a buffalo chicken wing wrap.

The wrap was fresh and perfectly sauced.  The servers were attentive with the Coke refills (It was lunch ok?) Otherwise I'd be raving about the beer buzz I would have caught.

Overall a good experience for a place I had past experiences in other states.  Plus it is a two minute bike ride from my house to the bar.  WIN
