Goose Loonies Olympian Sports Cafe

Service here is terrible,  food was good with the exception of the ice cold fries.  Bartender was too busy talking to his buddies.  Walked right past my friend and I to take care of some ladies behind us. Should have stiffed him for the tip but didn't, didn't leave much though.

Cool neighborhood sports bar. View of TV from every seat. Service was good. The French dip good and the beer ICE cold. Do I need to say more

Lamb gyro was good but not great. The Lamb appeared to be run-of-the-mill, prepackaged stuff that many places use for gyros, but I guess that's to be expected from a tavern & grill. That withstanding, my family enjoyed their Greek pizza and honey garlic chicken wings. The bonus for me was their selection of beer, served in an ice cold glass. I guess that's what compensated for the gyro, and that's why I keep returning for more. Alas, what Bakersfield desperately needs is a truly authentic Greek restaurant.
