Went for dinner here last night with my husband. Â We are never disappointed with the delicious creations prepared by chef Gilbert. Â I had the walnut crusted Mahi Mahi and my husband had the rack of lamb. Â All I can say is WOW!! Â Both dishes were excellent. Â The potatoes that came along with my dish were filled with flavor and soooo good. Â We stop here frequently and will continue to do so. Â There are only a few other restaurants in Bakersfield that can prepare a meal at this level of culinary genius. Â Red Pepper is definitely one of them. Â Do stop by... and don't be afraid to venture off of the usual Mexican fare. Â Both menus are great, but the paper insert menu contains all of the exquisite fine dining dishes! Â Either menu you choose to order from, you won't go wrong. Â Kuddos to chef Gilbert!
Review Source:One of my favorite bars in Bakersfield to catch up with old friends. Â It's dimly lit, a few televisions to catch up on sports, and a great jukebox with just enough of everything you want to hear with a slight buzz.
This is a place to go for a real drink, nothing blended. Â If you go while the kitchen to the restaurant is still open, you can eat in the bar. Â If not, they can get some chips and salsa to go along with your perfect margarita.
If you are looking for a bar to actually visit with your friends, this is the place for you! Check it out if you are on the East Side.
