I absolutely LOVE BWW, but sometimes the service here is really lacking. Maybe it's because I'm young, and some people have the idea that young people don't tip well. Honey, you have to earn your tip no matter who it's coming from! The food here is always good though, and they have decent drink specials.
Review Source:Despite the reviews, my girlfriend and I decided to stop in and get some wings. Over all I can say it was an enjoyable experience. Even though it was packed (mizzou home opener) we were seated quickly and our waitress was friendly and fast. We waited maybe ten minutes for the food to arrive and it was quite tasty. I never had to wait for refills or the check. We had both the regular and boneless and both were better then the other reviews lead us to expect. All I can say is this is one of those situations where maybe you should make your now opinion. Either way, we will be back.
Review Source:This place is a total rip-off.
I have visited this place three times now. My first time was with some friends, got decent service, food was fine, end of story.
Second time, I was overcharged for sauce, celery, and ranch.
I specifically requested no ranch, just celery, he brings me two ranch and no celery with my food. Bill arrives, when I asked the waiter why I was charged, he said "even though the menu says celery was included, it costs extra for me to get it for you if I didn't put it in the first time." What? Your mistake means I have to pay extra?
He apologized, I just asked him to have the charge taken off and handed him my card. He comes back and says the manager said no to removing the charge, "So I ran your card, ok?. Thanks"
Not Ok.
I asked to speak with the spineless manager, he caved and took off all the extra charges on my tab, since apparently he can't listen to his customers. Had to reprocess my card and issue me a second receipt... total headache.
Third time... went with more friends, I ordered some of the 40 cent wings [which my waiter was kind enough to tell me came with no free celery :) ] - and a 'special' 20oz. Guinness beer that was on sale for $4.25
Wings were not all warm, some were cold.
Beer arrived, even though it was advertised as a 20oz. said on the receipt it was 20 ounces, the beer was only 16oz., a pint... waiter apologized, said there was nothing he could do, but confirmed they were shorting everyone on the '20 oz.' beers. I just paid and left.
For as expensive as my tab was, I could have gone to Addisions or somewhere good for a nice meal, not cheap food.
This place is a total sleeze - I will never go here again.
I hate you, Buffalo Wild Wings. Â You ruined my friend's 21st birthday.
I will never forgive you.
You'd think a college town like Columbia would be used to seeing out of state ID's...I'm sorry if seeing a group of guys come in with ID's from different states seems suspicious to you. Â But when you take said ID's to the back to check with your manager and come back 10 minutes later only to tell us that we're "lucky to get them back since they're fake"?!
Eff you, Mr Buffalo. Â I'll take my money elsewhere.
Frankly, I don't understand the positive reviews of this place. Â Their food is awful. Â There is barely any meat on the wings they serve, and the sandwiches are ok, but are WAY overpriced. Â Beer is overpriced and the service is in the running for worst in the city.
If you're looking for a cheap place to go for the game, head across the street to Southside Pizza
