Okay so I went to Wild Wings for the first time a few weeks ago but it was to go so I wasn't going to review them for that. But the wings were worth a return visit for the full experience. I came here with my wife to enjoy their happy hour at the bar and they have great specials. They have 3 dollar appetizers from 2-7 and 10 to midnight that were a great deal. We ordered their beer battered onion rings that had a good flavor but they clearly weren't anything special. Don't get me wrong it gave me exactly the flavor to compliment my beer so I am completely fine with it. Then I had their garlic mushrooms since I love both those ingredients so why not try them for 3 bucks. I was sadly disappointed by the batter and the lack of flavor. My wife tried one and put the other half down because she really did not like the flavor so I would think that the dish was a bust. Of course we ordered 12 wings because that is the reason we came back and we got the Asian sauce and the hot BBQ. They both have good flavor but the hot was not extremely spicy it just coats your mouth and heats you up from inside, nice and cozy. Lastly the location seems pretty clean and our bartender KIKI (who is a dude) was very friendly and offered my wife some beer samples so she could enjoy herself. All and all the place is a great sports bar that doesn't miss lead you by thinking you are going to some overly dressed themed location. Great place to enjoy a 3 to 4 dollar happy hour drink.
Review Source:Normally I am a big fan of Buffalo wild wings but unfortunately thr Downey location is not in tue same ballpark of service. Â We had a difficult time getting service on the patioall evening. Â When we the n proceedes to order from the bar I was rudly confronted by the manager Victoria. Â She was very insulting towards my friends and I. She told us to wait at our tables for servce. Â I then proceeded to tell her that we had been waiting an unusually long time for service and xould she make sure to send a server to our table. Â That unfortunately never happened. Â When we went to the bar again Victoria proceeded to insult our group and screamed at me not to yell at her when I responded to her unprofessional behaviour. Â We then were told that we needed to leave and security then grabbed me and told me to get out. Â As I was closing my tab out security and your staff were insulting to me and my many guests. Â I cannot recxomend that anyone visit this location if Victoria is on staff that evening. Â I am a regular at the cerritos location and always have a great time there. Â But now I am disgusted by the way I was treated by Buffalo Wild Wings staff to then point that I will have to consider other choices when spending my hard earned money. Â Avoid this location at all costs. Â Go next door to BJs and see what a manager is supposed to be like.
Review Source:Be careful when drinking from their beer glasses because some of them are broken around the rim. I cut myself drinking from one this past weekend. Not only did the manager not come and ask if I was okay, but the waiter acted as if nothing had happened. Just because their wings are delicious, they get a bad rating for their cleanliness and their customer service.
Review Source:I've been to a couple of different BWW's and this location is the best out of them all. That includes the Cerritos, City of Industry and Block of Orange locations. The wings here are always served hot and have just the right amount of seasoning/sauce. The waitresses seem to be on their A game for the most part. I like most of the flavors except for the very hot ones. I would stay away from the Caribbean jerk and the Thai Curry, weird funky flavors IMO. Personal favorites are the chipotle BBQ, lemon pepper, spicy garlic, and hot BBQ. Also note that if you go here on a game night and get there AFTER the game started chances of you being seated quickly are slim to none. Get there early!! This is by far my favorite happy hour spot. Actually...favorite spot in general, I'm a wing fein!!
Review Source:giving it an OK...idk something about it being inside of a mall that felt weird, i dont like walking into a sports bar and seeing children in strollers everywhere when your walking in & out (but thats just me) Â They didnt have the greatest selection on Tap, so just stuck to usual Modelo, the bartender was real nice, overall it was kind of a weird location, guess im not a fan of mall bars, ...not a lot of character to it, felt too bright & just didnt give me that cozy feeling, would rather do downey brewery if i had to choose next time, but for some reason my bff loves it here =/ so ill prob be back...
Review Source:Wings are great!! Service is terrible. Waitress had an attitude, took too long for condiments to arrive, no greetings, no specials being offered, well drinks had little alcohol (no love from the bar)..
After a long day at work, all I want to do is grab a bitchin drink and get treated well... None of that happened... Won't come here again...
This is the worst BWW I've even been to..... If I could give negative stars I would !!! But I was there the other night with family during happy hour and me and brother were discriminated because of our ID's saying our identification cards weren't sufficient enough for them when my ID showed clearly my face dates Ect and my brothers was a lil worn but all the information was there and the manager denied us our drinks ... It started with my brother so to back him up I showed her my ID and the trouble started. What expertise gives them to acknowledge them to be experts in ID's .. Only government officials and or cops know how to determine this.... That just the start of our problems. It took them 4-5 mins from the time we ordered our wings to come out .. I was woah to fast service how can this place cook them so fast when other places take a good 15+ mins to get my other the way we want it and there you go our orders was wrong because the waiter never wrote it down .. I mean how can our wings come out so fast if you can't even cook the mozzarella sticks that fast c'mon !!!! So they replaced our wings but they tasted like they were just washed in the back and old ! Very bad bad service never going back EVER ... 1st bad service from any BWW and I've been to many ...... Don't go to this place it's dirty and service is so slow....
Corporate letter coming to this restaurant !
So here's the rundown:
-Service is ok, not terrible, nothing spectacular either.
-Drinks are often watered down, so I stick to the beer, and would rather go to the BJ's next door for a good cocktail.
- The restrooms definitely need to be tended to more frequently.
- Doesn't have the same happy hour offer of 5 Corona's for $15 the BWW on Crenshaw has.
- The wing sauces are really good though, big variety and well sized.
- Get here early if there's a Lakers game or any other big event, otherwise you can kiss any chance of getting a table goodbye.
All in all, it's conviniently located for the Downey, Paramount area, and beats driving around. Would be great to have these areas improved upon, but I've been to worse places.
Never coming back here again!!!
Hubby, the kids, and I went here Saturday night for family night.
Service was good, food tasted fine, the manager was a bi&ch with her staff (stressing us out)
we all got food poisening, even though we all ate something different.
We are all puking with cramps, and yea everything that comes with it.
This place is seriously the worst place to eat at. I mean it. I really do.
Horrible service.
Lack of cleanliness.
No order.
Servers which don't understand any language.
Let me tell my story. It all begins about a story of a double date here. We wer waiting for our other person to come so we decided to go ahead and eat. Mind you, one person was holding the table for 20 minutes and when we got there it wasn't even clean. Look, I get a place is busy. Board of health people....board of health!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So we decide to get boneless wings to start and my veggie boat. Ok, cool. The wings come out 10 minutes later with bones. Ok, I get it maybe you didn't hear. We send them back. They come back 10 minutes later again with the bones again. I tell her we ordered boneless and shes like oh. HELLO!!! Our server comes by sees this and is like oh this isn't what you wanted? NO DUMBASS. Â We order food and thank god that's ok.
Our fourth person finally comes and starts with his beers. The time comes to pay the bill and we requested seperate checks. Tell me why he says ok and then brings one. We tell him to split the fucking check and tell him what to put on each and he still fucks it up again.,and comes back and says is everything ok? So, for the third time he brings the checks and we notice on my check there a charge of three Heinekins that weren't even drank. Our people were drinking Blue Moons and Shock Tops. So I get upset because imagine how many people come get drunk and pay for things they didn't even order and don't bother checking the bill.
Please listen to me.
Don't even eat here.
Don't waste your time or money.
Don't waste your sanity.
There's too many idiots here.
Drive to another city.
I did and went to the one in LB which the service was way better and people actually understand.
I will never step foot in here again and neither should you.
Talk about having the worst service ever. I don't think they are aware that we are in a horrible economical crisis and there are a lot of unemployed people who would do a much better job than this group of people.
We waited for about an hour to get in. When we got seated in was ten minutes to happy hour. We decided we waited an hour why not 10 minutes for drinks. We ordered or food and when we got it we ordered or drinks. I caught the waitress rolling her eyes at us. Throughout the meal she kept trying to get us to leave. We were a group of 5 girls, not rowdy, and only two of us ordered from the happy hour menu. The girl was going to get a good tip if she didn't overcharge us.
One of us ordered a Margarita from the menu given to us. When the bill came she was over charged and when she asked the waitress said that wad an old menu and the price was from the menu in the front. She wouldnt fix it. Which was perfectly illegal. I asked how much was a blue moon and she quoted me less. Of course i was overcharged as well. Which should have been fine except we ordered more than one so the difference added up.
But her rolling eyes were on cue.
I will never go back there again.
As of yesterday, this place earned 1 star (seriously, less if I could give it.) LAST TIME I EVER COME TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT. We get there and let the host know there's 6 of us. They call our name, and literally our friends are walking up from the parking lot (no I'm not joking, they were walking up as they called our name) and the manager says NO the entire party must be here...YOU COULD SEE THEM FROM WHERE WE WERE STANDING!!!! Then, they proceed to make us wait another 15 minutes as they seat others. After being seated we were ignored for a good 10 minutes. Our host was a huge B word as if WE had done something wrong. After taking our drink orders she didn't even return to take our order for another good 15 or so minutes to get our food order. Oh, and she pretty much could've just thrown our drinks at us since she dumped half my drink on me arm as she put it down and gave me some pathetic "sorry". WTF?
So, its already getting off to a bad start and the food hasn't even come out. So we came to watch the Cowboys/Falcons game and because the TV directly in front of us wasn't showing it I asked our waiter to change it. She leaves and the TV never gets changed. So then after another 15 minutes of waiting I ask another host, he says ok, walks off, and continues with other things...so I wave down the waitress again and tell her than I'd like to speak with their manager. Guess that's the magic word because within 2 minutes the TV gets changed. Only then did our waitress lighten up and try to be sweet with us. Unfortunately, by this time everyone's patience had run out with all the attitude and disrespect we got.
I work for food service so I know it gets shitty sometimes, but you know what...People PAY to eat at your establishment, so fricken ACT/PRETEND like you at least appreciate the simple fact that PAYING CUSTOMERS are the reason YOU HAVE A DAMN JOB. So you know what, I do feel entitled to good service when I go out, because I pay for it and I will even tip well for it, even when you don't deserve it. But NEVER AGAIN am I even putting a penny down at this particular establishment. They are lucky we even tipped them after the crap service we received. I think I'll stick to Irvine, where the employees actually seem to want the money and can put a smile on their face and PLEASE their paying patrons. Not sure if BWW actually reads their reviews but if they do, you should probably send someone down to re-evaluate this establishment and how things are run.
After I gave a so so review I swore off this BWW.  So, against my wife's better judgement we went back again.....TWICE!  The first time everything was great until the waiter dropped off the check then disappeared for  25 minutes.  One of the people in our party even noted it on the check to call his attention to it. The next time  the waiter was extremely nice and obviously well coached on how to talk to people...but  brought the wrong beer and after our food was dropped on the table (by the 25 min waiter!)  we had no silverware and had to ask 2 people for it.  That and my wife sitting down on a soaking wet chair = 1 star. That was the last, last time I eat at the Downey BWW!
Review Source:This review is for the FWW wings overall. And let me say this 'I love me some finger-licking-spicy buffalo wings!'... sadly not at this place...
Good for happy hour or to watch a game... but anyway...
This place is a-ok! its just not all that its hyped up to be. The wings are small and dry. I like that they are crunchy but I don't think they're supposed to be that way and sometimes they taste like fried chicken, which would be good if I wanted fried chicken.
I've tried most of their flavors and I can honestly say that for me they just don't cut it. One thing they don't tell you is that a few of their flavors are made of a dry rub and not wet and juicy sauce, the way that I think wings should be but that's just me. And a lot of the flavors are not very spicy which was disappointing to me as well. I guess I just expected so much more from this place and their "variety of flavors" just don't do it for me.
It would be helpful if on the menu or if the server described the type of rub or sauce that you ordered so that you knew what you were getting into. But again maybe I expected so much more from this place, I went in thinking, 'yay, finally a place where they serve all wings, no more searching for me!' but wrong.
I will continue to give this place the occasional visit since it is football season and its close to home but I can't say that I will change my mind on this... and I still have to try their supposed super spicy/hot sauce wings... maybe after a lil'beer-o courage one day... I hope they don't disappoint.
Bad Service
Bad Food
Our waitress took forever to greet us- didn't listen to what we requested our food took forever, it was terrible!
The food was even worse I had to send back my plate, It was ridiculous! I ordered the nachos without the chilli- thinking they would put enough cheese and veggies on there nope. Barely any cheese. I would never go back there!
I stopped in because I was craving a burger, and there was no disappointment! It was on a Tuesday when they have .55 cent wings, and as a bonus it was also during happy hour :) $3 tall glasses of domestic on-tap beers and $4 or $5 for imported.
We sat at the bar so I asked the bartender what he thought the best burger was, and he suggested 2. I got the one he suggested that has steak in it... and wow. Great place to come when craving a delicious burger :)
It came with 2 beef patties, cheese, steak, onion rings, and the usual condiments. All I can say is wow. The steak itself was great; not over-seasoned to take flavor away from the burger, and it was supppper tender. The onion rings were awesome and passed the bite test (you don't want to take one bite and drag all the onion out of the ring). The whole burger together was just awesome, along with some sweet, tangy BBQ sauce too!
The wings were awesome, especially with some ranch sauce :)
The beer was awesome... who doesn't love a Dos Equis tall glass on tap ice cold??
And last but CERTAINLY not least, everyone was friendly! Service was great, I'll definitely be back :D
What a horrible place! Â Ghetto, ghetto, ghetto. Â
My coworkers and I came here last Friday, April 13. Â We had about 30 people from work, including customers of ours. Â We came for the "wing challenge", but were faced with the "Manager challenge". Â Let me explain...
We occupied a few tables in the bar area.  The place was packed, which is typical for any place on a Friday night.  A few of us were standing in the bar area waiting for the workers to clean up a table we were going to sit at...when we were RUDELY approached by the Manager, Virgina.  Virginia is obviously from the streets...she had absolutely NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS.  She began hollering at us in the most ghetto fashion you could imagine.  Moving her head back and forth and demanding us to "get out" of the bar area if we didn't have anywhere to sit.  She didn't even give  us a chance to explain that we were simply waiting for her people to clean the table so we could sit and enjoy ourselves.  She went NUCLEAR on us, and never gave us the oppportunity to explain that we were waiting for the table.
Once she stopped yelling, I approached her to hopefully rectify the situation and understand why we were being treated SO RUDELY. Â I simply told her that she didn't need to be SO RUDE to us. Â I wasn't even allowed a chance to explain my feelings about her service when she immediately shouted at us (AGAIN), and told us that we had to vacate the restaurant immediately!!! Â They kicked us out!!! Â And tried to force us to pay our bill OUTSIDE (in the rain). Â It was the most bizarre thing...not to mention completely embarrassing. Â Neither one of us had caused any problems or deserved the treatment we were experiencing. Â
It wasn't long before ALL OF THE AVAILABLE SECURITY came to escort us out of the restaurant. Â Not to mention the Manager, Virgina is here name, was walking around "recruiting" some of her staff members to "have her back" (I KID YOU NOT!). Â
Keep in mind...we are all older, mature and responsible individuals. Â We were treated like a bunch of hoodlums...not to mention the embarrassment we endured in front of OUR VERY OWN CUSTOMERS whom we have a wonderful business relationship with.
I WOULDN'T RECCOMEND ANYONE TO COME TO THIS LOCATION. Â WE ARE ALSO FOLLOWING UP WITH A COMPLAINT TO CORPORATE, AND THE REGIONAL MANAGER OF THIS ESTABLISHMENT. Â NO ONE DESERVES TO BE TREATED LIKE THIS. Â AND VIRGINA DOES NOT DESERVE TO HOLD A POSITION AS A RESTAURANT MANAGER -- SHE CLEARLY HAS ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. Â I wouldn't be surprised if she has a criminal background...and has even spent time in jail or prison. Â
I certainly hope nobody else ever has to endure this horrible treatment. Â It was seriously UNREAL. Â
I certainly hope corporate handles this complaint...and that someone more deserving is given Virginia's position as a Manager. Â She does not deserve it. Â I'm not even sure how she obtained it in the first place.
Ps - our servers were wonderful !! Â I wish I knew their names. Â It's really sad that they have to work for such a rude, ghetto manager.
This was seriously the WORST EXPERIENCE of my life, by far.
I hope Viriginia used some common sense and updated her resume this past weekend -- she's going to need it for her job search!
first time to this wild wings and first time to one ever..the waitress traded off cause she went on break and almost an hour later we finally ordered. Such slow slow slow service. the place wasnt even full id wager 50-60% capacity. their lack of attending to us even for drinks or to see how things are going sucked.
that and i had the buffalo chicken sandwhich; ive had spicer and meatier buffalo chicken sandwhiches at carls jr.
As if this place wasn't getting any worse, I came here again with my coworkers Thursday night. Packed as hell with the "classiest" people you could find in Downey, and then a fight breaks out with some chunti bros. I just love how our server told us "Welcome to BWW, where there's a live fight every night." I would have liked her because of that witty comment, but she took 40 minutes to bring me order of fries.
How do I still even come here!? Ugh.
Came here to watch some football games the other day. Pretty ghetto crowd. Not complaining because I grew up in the ghetto (so I'm used to it) but you should know about the crowd.
Our boneless wings weren't fully covered with sauce. Disappointing. Service was okay. Will stick with my Torrance location. Â
Tried Mango Habanero, Hot BBQ, and Spicy Garlic sauces for the very first time. Favorite was the Hot BBQ. My usual Asian Zing sauce was on point. But as I mentioned, they were annoyingly stingy with their sauce on our strips. Several of our strips were only 75% coated with sauce. Lame. Where's my sauce damn it?!
Wouldn't come to this location by choice. I live near the Torrance location anyways... making it pointless to drive to Downey for shi*ty made food. Don't even let me get started on their men's room. It's seriously smaller than my bedroom.
I hate knocking restaurants but I tell it like it is. Cheers Yelpers and Yelpettes.
Hubby is my back seat yelp*er and his first experience here was pretty messed up.
Whoever the hostess was tonight (12.30.11)...Total attitude and downright bitchy. Hubby was supposed to meet his buddies for UFC and their night was held up because the hostess didn't want to deal with them.
Crystal, their initial waitress... Totally cool, hence the added star. But then Crystal took a break or something... Hubby's $30 tab turned into a $50 one. Somehow extra orders were added onto his tab...
And like tipster Tony A. mentioned, the sauces were mixed up.
They were able to enjoy the fight, their drinks, food, and company, but the hassle from the hostess and the messed up tab ruined a good part of the night...
I like reading reviews before I write them... it surprises me how ignorant people are on Yelp; they like to pretend they're God and are in Beverly Hills. People make mistakes. Get over it.
I came here on Black Friday but at night. The place was full but we walked over to the bar area.
Ordered beer, wings, and buffalo chips.
I finished my first and second beer a little too quick so I ordered a Pear Cider I heard rave reviews about. Well these 'Rave Reviews' came from girls so I ordered one.
!!WARNING!! If you are a straight male and don't want to feel like you're going to get laughed at by the whole place, DO NOT ORDER THIS DRINK!! It looks like Champagne and tastes like Smirnoff Ice.... it was good.... which is why that's another bad thing.... sorry... I'm a guy and I love my beer to taste crappy. :P
Other than that, I had no gripes with this place.
Went on a super busy Saturday night (USC-UCLA game). Wow the service was terrible.
Upon arriving, I give my name to the guy at the front with the clipboard. You know, the guy who is supposed to write down names in order to keep track of who arrived when. It was just me and my friend. Tell me why people kept getting seated before us even though we arrived before them. Oh wait, it's because the guy NEVER WROTE DOWN MY NAME. How do you not write down the name when I go up to you and give you my name and even ask you how long the wait will be? What a moron!!!
And to top it off, he wanted me to wait until about three couples were seated. UH NO. We had been waiting for at least 15 minutes. Finally, they seat us on the patio.
Our waiter was nice and attentive. The only bright spot. BUT, for some reason, we kept getting other people's orders. Everything is really screwed up. I understand they were busy, but other places like BJ's and Cheesecake Factory never screw it up this bad even though they are ALWAYS packed. So no excuses. We got at least 3-4 different waiters trying to give us other people's orders... :O
I tipped my waiter well, since he was pretty good. The Long Islands are cheap and tasty and strong. The flatbread pizza is crispy and yummy. But I doubt I'll be returning on a busy night, if at all.
Okay, so the first time I came here was a Sunday, which I'd give 4 stars to. It was 2 weeks ago, packed of course because of football. We got there right at 1 PM, right when the game was about to start. There was a 2 hour wait, but the guy at the door suggested we go to the bar and not wait at all. We got lucky and got 2 seats at the bar, directly in front of the TV that was playing the game we were there to see. Service was okay...the girl at the bar was just not attentive. Another guy noticed are mango lemonades were done with and offered refills.
We had the garlic parmesan wings and the buffalo chicken flatbread. I loved the wings, but the flatbread was too garlicky. The mango lemonade was really good.
Now for the 2 stars. I returned this last Thursday, thinking it would be something like Sunday. Wow was I wrong. The place was pretty much empty and the service was HORRIBLE! It was happy hour, and there wasn't much variety for mixed drinks. We ordered vodka cranberries and it took literally over 30 minutes!! We had to ask the server about 3 times and then literally walk up to the bar!! Then, the waiter bring the wings...with NO RANCH! When we ask, he says it's .60 cents extra. WOW! Big deal! He couldn't have offered it to begin with?! Since he said for happy hour, they charge for each ranch. So, fine, I ask for ranch. Another 20 minutes or so go by and I have to ask another 3 times. Unbelievable! The other reviewer was right on about the ranch.
I will never go back on a weekday, at least not to this location!
Sundays are good, but weekdays are horrible and their Happy Hour sucks. Go to BJs.
Worst BWW's I've been to... avoid at all cost. There's a ton of waiters/tresses but takes forever to get some goddamn ranch. Been here twice and the service is below inadequate.
I was here last night for UFC 139 and they made my friends and I sit in the damn patio even though two of my friends specifically saved a seat for me. BWW's incompetent worker named PAUL tells my friends that he'll let me in as long as one of my friend brings me in when I get there. So I get to BWW & Paul becomes a douche and goes back on his word. BWW's fat manager tells me to go to patio & he'll kick me out if I'm inside EVEN THOUGH THERE'S AN OPEN CHAIR AT THE TABLE MY FRIENDS WERE AT THAT WAS SAVED FOR ME.
Then we go to the patio and order wings & we're just in a crappy mood. While we're eating our wings and watching the fight, our brainless waitress tells us that we had to give her one of our credit cards so we don't just dine & dash, & that it won't be charged. I give her my card & of course 15 minutes later she tells me that she accidentally swiped my damn card. THEN she says that we can order another round but we're gonna be charged for that (WHY WOULD U EVEN OFFER US TO SPEND MORE MONEY FOR YOUR MISTAKE?)... WORST WAITRESS EVER.
To top it all of, I go to my online account and discover that there are two charges on my credit card instead of one... I think I'm going to have set that place of fire. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS.
the first time i walked into the BWW i was overwhelmed by the amount of people "table-gating" watching what seemed like thousands of flat screens on the walls. It was a Sunday morning full of football and it was exciting to watch a host of different fans wearing their teams jersey. Even playful smack talk between tables. It's too bad be people can't along like this in the world outside of football. It was so crowded though that i just left.... I had gotten a good vibe from the joint and i figured i'd come back another time.
time shift to this late afternoon sat, small crowd practically empty by comparison to sunday. I sat down and ordered a blue moon draft, that's some good beer. After some strange mix up and finding out that my brew was sent to the wrong table... I was able to enjoy my beer. I ordered the thai boneless and the spicy garlic boneless wings. I hate to say that i was might disappointed with them. they were both just tooo salty. and tiny. i felt like i was eating popcorn chicken from KFC. I had ordered the garlic mushroom appetizers which was by far the best thing i ate there. All in all as nice as the servers were i don't think i'd ever go back to the BWW. The beer was nearly 7 bucks. for that kind of money i could by a six pack..
Apart from the sunday atmosphere being seemingly so fun i can't see spending the better part of a paycheck just to east some tiny and salty bits of flavored chicken. And overpriced beer.
I came to the Stonewood BWW last night with my coworkers since we were celebrating one of their anniversaries with the company. The establishment has a nice sports bar feel to it, as you literally see flat screens with sports channels and sports memoribilia everywhere you look. Â It was a pretty large group but our waitress Ashley was very nice and patient. It was .55 cent wing Tuesday, so we went crazy ordering different flavors. I ordered spicy garlic, BBQ chipotle and some french fries. I also tried some of the Asian zing wings.
The spicy garlic were by far my favorite. It was sweet but not too sweet, and had just the amount of spice that I like on my wings. The BBQ chipotle are a dry rub, so their taste, while not bad, was also particularly not too strong. I found myself having to dip them in my ranch dressing a lot. The Asian zing were good, but had a very spicy after taste. I had to reach for my water afterward. The fries were VERY good. Nice and crispy, just how I like them. If I remember correctly, they season them with their salt and vinegar rub. Even after they had gone a bit cold, they were still delicious.
Now the one thing that really made me like this place was the customer service. Other reviews here say the service was bad, but maybe ours was exceptional since it was a Tuesday night, and it wasn't too packed. Either way, our waitress made it a whole lot easier for us by breaking up our order into seperate orders. She was also patient enough to come back to us, ask us each what we had ordered, and then fixed some issues when we had been charged extra by accident. Rather than be persistent and try to charge us extra like other establishments have in the past, she sat down with us to figure out our orders. As we were leaving, I saw her name on the back of her jersey. And I told my friends that I'd make an effort to mention Ashley in my review. Great service, and I'd like to return soon. Hopefully the service will be as good as it was last night.
I specifically came here for happy hour on a Tuesday night. Like the great experience at BWW in Brea, I was expecting the same.
Food is great. Flatbread buffalo chicken pizza is delicious!
SamAdams Oktoberfest seasonal is Amazing!
How do I rate my experience? ill give it a 3 Star to be nice. Our waitress was great! But apparently there is this law (according to BWW) that you have to be nearly done with your beer in order to order another. I'm assuming this is because they don't want us to take advantage of happy hour. So of course we chugged our beer in order to get another since they take so long to come back. After 3 beers each, WE WERE CUT OFF by management we were told!!!! and indirectly told  to leave. YUP!!!! never again will i come to this BWW! We were not drunk, we were simply having a great time AT THE BAR!
Needless to say, we made our way to BJ's next door to continue our good time and you better believe the waitress at BJ's got a great tip.
As good as any other BWW, but fortunately in my area... Â Located at Stonewood Mall, this is one of the newest ones in the area. Â Size is pretty big, with an outdoor patio. Â
Food was good as always.
Only thing, the night i came, the music was a bit loud sitting outside, it was hard to hear any conversation. Â Sounded like a club or something.. Â It actually seemed quiter inside..LOL
Otherwise, good overall atmosphere and locale.
Even though the rest of my group bailed on me for an after work gathering, I went by myself. The destination? Buffalo Wild Wings in Downey.
Located at the Stonewood mall, it's one large room with a half-wall divider between the bar area and main dining area that separates it into two equal sections. There are more TV screens on the wall than there are stars in the sky. And they have those playmaker devices so you can play trivia or poker on a designated screen. I did this, since I was alone, and set the high score for trivia. Woohoo!
I've been to other BWW locations so I knew the menu. You'd think you'd go here for wings, right? Normally, yes. But this time I decided to try a burger. But first I got a Stella on draft and deep fried mozzarella sticks. It was a great appetizer and only half price since it was still happy hour. The burger was the Big Jack Daddy Burger with salt & vinegar fries to accompany it. The burger was so big I could barely get my mouth around it. A thick beef patty topped with pulled pork with honey BBQ sauce drizzled on it, which in turn was topped with cheddar jack cheese, tomato, and a fried onion ring. I have to admit that I like their burger better than the wings!
Lastly I have to say the service here was excellent. My server, Adriana, was spectacular - the sort of attentive and personable server you pray you get every time you go out to eat.
4.5 stars but I always round up.
