This place has the worst costumer service ever! The people who own it must ha ve no idea how costumers are being treated. Â The wings are good, but when the servers as and manager treat you like crap, the taste just is not worth it. I will never go back and neither will family and friends. Let me give you a tip corperate office. When your resturant does not have something advertised on your menue and the costumer asks for a replacement, replace it. We're going to BJ'S!!!!!!!
Your staff and management need serious training. You must not be paying them well enough. I walked out and cancelled my order.
Your business will suffer in the long run. If you want people  in vacaville to come here not just for the bar, treat them right. Invest in costumer service training.
First the food, I do wings, and I'm not disappointed at all by them. Â They have some good wings, and the wait staff is kind enough. Â I'm putting two stars, because of the clueless nature in what they put up on the screens.
I was waiting for the US Men's National Soccer game vs. Costa Rica last night to start at 5:00 pm. Â Not only did I have to request it to be aired over what appeared to be nothing but news and commercials on various blah blah sports networks, but I had to request that a USA NATIONAL GOLD CUP GAME be aired on the other big screen. Â Obviously, the MLB All-Star Game was the main attraction, so no big deal. Â However, the US Men's National Team was put on a smaller screen despite my wishes in favor of "The Kings Game"...okay, it's not even NBA season, it's SUMMER LEAGUE...and furthermore, the "Kings Game" WASN'T EVEN ON. Â It was Portland vs. Chicago...and a friggin' summer league game. Â Very disappointed at the lack of sports knowledge by the wait staff, bad priorities with what they show. Â
I won't be going here again, bad BWW in my book...maybe I'll try another branch in a different city sometime.
I usually have BW3s while in Ohio, though there are many locations it just seems like a midwest place. Â However, when you have a hankering for a good wing, B-dubs is the place to go. Â I used to have their sauced wings and have tried just about every flavor. Â Lately I've been going with their dry rubs, very flavorful and nice spice level.
Review Source:My second 1-Star review for this location after a six month boycott. I placed a phone order and was told my order would be ready in 13 minutes. I come in half an hour later to wait 10 minutes to be told that my order wasn't even placed. I confirmed that the number I called indeed belonged to their location and saw the lady manning the register pick up a stray (the only sheet) order sheet on her counter that had been untouched. Wow.
Review Source:BEST BWW EVER! This 5 star rating is ONLY for this location. It was the first BWW I ever ate at and since then, I have dined at a handful of other locations. To my surprise and horror, I discovered that the other places charged for veggie sticks and dipping sauces!!! This is the only BWW that I have been to that has been super generous with the ranch and the veggie sticks.
To be honest, I was a Wingstop aficionado for a really long time (that lemon pepper *____*) but I found myself being slowly converted to bdubs for the cheaper price (60 cent wing tuesday just CAN'T be beat!) as well as the larger wing size and the sheer variety of flavors to choose from. My personal favorites would have to be Wild, Desert Heat, Parmesan Garlic (although I can only eat up to 3 in succession without growing sick of the flavor) and mostly MANGO HABANERO!!! There are also great happy hour deals such as the $3 domestic draft beers, and $4 appetizers (fries, mozzarella sticks, chips, corndogs, onion rings, etc.) Might I add the portion of onion rings that I got at the Vacaville location was about twice as big as the one I ordered at the brand new location in San Jose!
The environment is fun and sports-oriented. There are giant screens covering every inch of wall and they are always tuned into the current sporting events. I often run into many of my Davis colleagues eating here on a Tuesday night despite the 20 mile drive and the fact that a brand new BWW just recently opened in West Sac (Haven't been there because I called in and they said they charge for veggies and sauce.)
The service is great! I've never had a bad experience with the service, everyone is extremely accommodating and friendly. My only lament is that sometimes my water goes unrefilled for quite awhile which sucks when I'm sweating balls from the Mango Habanero wings, but then again I do finish my water really quickly and am always there on a busy night.
Maybe someday I'll muster up the courage to splurge on other things on their menu, but the wings are just too good a deal to pass up. They're trying these new hot dog items on the menu and it looks pretty good!
I feel so strongly that the Vacaville BWW should get credit for their outstanding consideration of customers that I shall pop my Yelp review cherry with a 5/5, would recommend rating for them! :)
We usually visit this place because the wait times are short and hey- they have every sport on TV that you could imagine. Recently we were able to catch the UFC fight along with watching the SF Giants play baseball---with a beer! Can it get any better than that?? Food is alright, the salad is decent, the mozzarella sticks are yummy and the wings are tasty--hot but tasty. Nice addition to the dining selection in Vacaville. :)
Review Source:Great place to come to celebrate my nephew's baseball championship up in Sac. Â We were a large group of 30 as walk-ins on a Sunday night around 8pm. Â It was friendly service by one server only and she did her best to serve us all, and all our separate bills. Â The wings are pretty good, and we really liked the parmesean garlic, the salt & vinegar, and the lemon pepper wings. Â I love how the kids were kept entertained with the little remote pads for their on-screen interactions, pretty dope. Â I also really like that it was pretty easy to find off the freeway and to also get back on.
Review Source:Where do I begin? Wit the dumb waitress. She is Hmong so makes sense. We didnt realize we already order wedges wit cheese. So when she came back to take our orders we asked if they have anything like fries wit cheese on them! Bitch said no!!! Duh she cud of been like u already order that. The only thing she gets brownie points on is our wings were super spicy so she comp those.
Review Source:Don't compare this place to Wing Stop because it just ain't the same. The wings are different. The wings here are bigger and meatier. I ordered the Lemon Pepper and the House spicy. The lemon pepper wings were on hit with flavor. Perfect. The house spicy wings were perfectly spicy. It's the kind of spicy where your nose has beads of sweat, your tongue is feeling pretty fiery and pretty soon, your nose starts to run and you can't really do anything about it because then you'll have hot sauce on your face because your fingers are just covered in it.
Review Source:UGH, why do I keep coming back here!?! It's like a sickness. Every time we hit the freeway up to Sacramento it starts calling my name. WINGS WINGS WINGS....
THE GOOD - I love the salt and vinegar wings here. They are the best. I would come back just to eat plates of those. Also you can watch almost any sports you want on tv - boxing, baseball, soccer, etc. They have it all! The waitress was friendly, but we had a couple problems with service.
THE BAD - Everything on the menu, arrives in front of you in massive quantities. Share meals here, I order too much every single time. We had the hardest time finding out waitress anytime we needed her. We tried to find her to get the bill for no less than 5 minutes, which is a long time when you have been done eating for a while and are just waiting. They also added extra wings to our order, which luckily we caught and they corrected.
This is one of the best BW3 experiences I've had. The service was spot on. The food was good and came out really quickly. The beer was cold. It wasn't too loud inside. It was just right.
I probably won't be at this Vacaville BW3 again, but it was a good place to stop and get some refreshment.
Ugh, this place. I have mixed feelings.....
My boyfriend always wants to come here, and I dont know why. Service is iffy, food is not great, drinks are expensive. It has a fun atmosphere, sports bar/restaurant, but I would probably not come here with anyone other than him and his friends. It's just not my scene, and if Im going to be spending my hard earned cash I want to go somewhere that I enjoy! Its ok if I go with him and he pays ;) Also, dont even think about going here on a game day, unless you are hours early for the event, because you will not get a seat until its over and then you have to wait for the place to clear out and the tables to be cleaned. Parking lot is tiny and you will probably have to park across the street at Best Buy.
I sure am a fan!!
These restaurants tend to be quite loud, but the food is tasty!
My favorite is the Chipotle dry rub wings, perfection!!
I know we have all enjoyed to one degree or another, chips and salsa. Let me tell you I had the best chips and salsa ever here. The chips are warm, light and yummy. The salsa medium in hear and quite good.
I've been driving by this outlet since they built it and said, Im going to get wings on my drive home one of these days. Years later I finally step in as we had dinner down the way and picked up snacks for the next. Lemon pepper and Asian zing were the split. Solid wings, meaty and sizeable. We went during a late quiet time but I can tell this place is a madhouse during Football playoffs.
Review Source:Wooo!!!! 60 cent wing tuesday!!! The wings here kill wingstop!!! They are super flavorful and every crispy. Like all wings, they're pretty oily. But hey, they're delicious. The service is this BWW is pretty bad. They mess up your orders and neglect to make sure that you're doing okay. My waitress took forever to come and take our checks as we finished eating. She added an extra basket of wedges (which is the bomb btw) to my order. We split the checks three way and paid cash. This lady didn't even give exact change!
Anyways, the food is still good and i would still recommend coming here. Just dont go to wingstop because they just fall short when it comes to determining which wings taste better.
BW3 started on campus at Ohio State and is a staple in Ohio. I love the boneless buffalo strips and buffalo chips with cheese. It's so tasty and good. The only draw back is that i need to run 15 miles just to eat here. Really calorically dense foods. I don't eat if very often, but i do like it. It's typical bar-food type stuff, but well done within that category. They also have a million TVs for sports, so it's definitely a fun place to visit.
Review Source:I'm not too impressed with this place. Maybe it's what I ordered? I tried the fish taco... It was tasteless. The menu was okay, nothing stood out. But I scored on the dessert. Got the Nacho Sundae! It was super delicious! It's a huge dessert, so you need to share it with your buddies before you split your pants! This place is ok. I would have to compare it to BJ's Brewery because its most like it. The menu is much better at BJ's. I give Buffalo's a 2 star for good service. I will give them another try and see if I change my mind. Hey, I'm an equal opportunity consumer!
Review Source:Often come here at lunch time and find a semi empty restaurant, not sure how busy it is at dinner but if it is like lunch time this place wont last much longer. That being said the service in the bar area is often slow so I recommend the main dining room. The best deal is Wing Tuesday when bone in wings are .75 each. Â Our favorite sauce is asian zing, but I must say the sauce/rub menu is a little confusing. The onion rings here are my favorite of all chain quality onion rings. We order them everytime we come here and they have always been sweet, crunchy, perfectly cooked and delicious. Thursday is boneless wing night, but they are coated in so much breading they are pretty much disgusting. Â TV's everywhere, so this is a great place to come and watch the game.
Review Source:Before going to Buffalo Wild Wings, the only other wing place I have went to was Wingstop. I didn't know what to expect, but I was pleased.
This is not your small hole in the wall wings place. If you walk in, there are huge TVs everywhere. Pretty much every American sports game you could imagine is on TV. It is definitely a bro hang out place. Everyone is representing their team by sporting their favorite jersey. It was a nice day that day so I sat outside with my friend.
The service was quick and they took our order quickly. We got the 24 wings deal with Garlic Parmesan, Â Spicy Garlic, Mango Habanero, and Asian Zing, and a basket of fries. The wings game out hot and coated in sauce. The wings are fried without batter, which is slightly healthy but I like a battered wing better (just a personal preference). The fries that came out were a little limp, but they were long, thin, and had a nice amount of flavor similar to that of burger king fries.
The flavors were just alright. I wish the garlic parmesan came out with grated parm but they stuck with more of a liquid sauce. The Spicy Garlic tasted similar to a normal buffalo wing. I couldn't taste the mango that much on the Mango Habanero, but it did have that spicy pepper kick after you finish eating the wing. The Asian Zing is pretty much your typical sweet chili sauce that you often find with eggrolls or the McDonalds nugget sauce.
Half way through our meal we were getting attacked by bees. We were managing, but our waitress took notice and moved us inside for the rest of our meal. The only bad thing about eating inside is that its hard to have a conversation over the sports banter without shouting to your friend.
Overall, decent food and great service. Oh, and our wings came out quickly. My friend went to the bathroom after we ordered, and by the time she came back, we got our order. Pretty good considering it was packed that day.
I came in  with a group of frineds for the unlimited wings and fries lunch deal at 1:10 PM . The deal ends at 2 so I asked my server if the deal ended EXACTLY at 2  or if I just had to sit down at 2 and she told me that we would still get unlimited wings and fries as long as we were here at 2
Sooo my frineds and I ignored the fact that our food was coming out very slowly and we ate calmly and then around 2:25, the server comes to tell us that she made a mistake becuase the deal ended at 2 and she can no longer serve us.
Okay first off, the kitchen was VERY slow so we ouldve gotten 1 or 2 more rounds of wings before 2 and secondly, how is ti fair that we're being cut off when the server was obviously the one who made the mistake? The restaurant shouldve AT LEAST gotten one more round of wings/fries.
I am very disappointed in this deal and probably will not come back for it ever again out of bitterness .
The Happy Hours menu only included potatoe wedges, pretzels, chips & salsa, fried pickles, French Fries and buffalo chips (no this isnt meat)- just thinly sliced potatoe chips sprinkled with hot sauce! and $3 draft beer.
I went here for first time because our friends always raved about how good they were. We ordered all the Happy Hours sides (great to share in a big group at half price).
So we came here to mainly try the WINGS. So we tried them in boneless. We tried Teriyaki, Parmesan Garlic, spicy Garlic, Thai Curry (which they just poured the Asian sweet chili sauce over chicken), and the Blazing (the hottest on the menu).....
To our disappointment, all of them were VERY VERY dry! Yes, the Blazing is very spicy. My bf who can eat very spicy food couldn't talk after the first bite of the Blazing.
I would not come back again. I wasnt impressived at all.
3.5 stars.
Came here around dinner time Memorial Day weekend after shopping at the outlets and since they were busy, the hostess recommended for us to sit at the bar area so that we woudn't have to wait for seats and that we'll get better service there. The bar was crowded but we were able to snag a table.
I forgot how many wings we got but we got the mango habanero, spicy garlic, garlic parmesan and carribean jerk flavors. I liked the mango habanero and carribean jerk but thought that the carribean jerk was spicer than the mango habanero. I didn't try the other two flavors but heard they were only so-so.
We didn't have any problems with service, actually our server was very attentive and was constantly refilling our drinks. The restaurant was a bit loud though.
Wings were good and it's a good place to eat if you're in the area. Since I'm not a big chicken wing person, I wouldn't drive all the way here or to any of their other locations to get them. You can also buy their sauces and make your own wings at home.
We (myself and two others) came here on a Saturday around 3 or 4 pm and it was quite empty, which in my opinion, would mean fast service and quick food. However, we were told there was only one server working at the time so we had to wait about ten minutes before we were seated. While waiting, we browsed through the menu to see what we wanted because we only had about an hour before we had to be somewhere else.
After being seated, we ordered the 24 traditional wing deal and a spinach artichoke dip appetizer. Then we waited and waited and waited and waited and waited. While waiting, my friends and I realized that there were A LOT of TVs in this place (LARGE and small), that we felt as if we were sitting in a freezer (literally), and why hasn't our appetizer come out yet?! And we waited some more. It took them more than 20 minutes for ALL of our food to come out, that means the wings AND our appetizer! Our server told us that they forgot to cook the appetizer or something? I don't even remember what she said because all I cared about was that my food was finally out.
The spinach artichoke dip was hot and fresh, which I guess makes up for all the waiting? The dip itself was just like any other place I've tried it at. However, the chips that came along with it were DELICIOUS! Instead of using regular chips, they use warm pita chips, which makes the chips + dip soo much better! As for the wings, we tried the medium, honey BBQ, spicy garlic, and asian zing flavors. Medium was not as spicy as my friends had hoped, honey BBQ is as it's named, spicy garlic was my favorite and even spicier than the medium, and asian zing tastes like sweet and sour sauce.
This was also my first time at a Buffalo Wild Wings. Overall, I did enjoy the food but I could have gone elsewhere for some better wings and faster service. I'd come back here if there was a birthday dinner, but maybe not by choice. But then again, maybe I'll give the other BWWs a chance one day.
I have been wanting to try BWLD for awhile. I don't think there are any in the Bay Area (on the Peninsula anyway) but I see the sign for this one on the drive up to Tahoe. Finally convinced husband to stop here on way back from Tahoe this week.
We went on a Monday night so it was only partially full. But I an imagine how packed it can get on the weekends or when there are games. SO MANY TVs. Â Is probably fun on football Sunday!
I stuck with a standard - buffalo medium spice (but went boneless as I cannot eat regular wings...yes...baby) - they were YUM. My Dad's brother's wife's family were owners of the original Anchor Bar in Buffalo so I ate the authentic buffalo wing a fair amount as a kid. But I don't try and compare. Just decide if I like what I'm eating now. Most places make their Buffalo wings either waaay too saucy and these were not like that.
They were spicy but not too spicy for me (I'm a huge spice baby...Taco Bell mild sauce is tolerable) but husband thought they were spicier than his (the jalapeno ones I think.) I asked the waiter before I ordered and he steered me correctly. He said they were  flavorful but not too hot. Exactly.  They have a lot of different flavors - both sauce and dry seasoning so I'm sure you can find something you like.
And you have to get the salt and vinegar fries. Wow. YUM. I want more right now as I write this.
Pretty good food for a chain for sure. I think I was most impressed with our waiter. He was helpful, fast & attentive without being intrusive or annoying.
Probably a plus there is not one of these located close to me. I would want to eat it a lot :) Will definitely want to go back!
Thank you American Express for having my back.
But what does American Express have to do with my 1 star rating for the Buffalo Wild Wings in Vacaville?
What was it that happened at this Buffalo Wild Wings in Vacaville that would prompt me to grant them only the 3rd 1 star rating I've handed out in 408 reviews now?
CREDIT CARD FRAUD.
Say what???... Yup, that's right. For the sake of clarity, it bears repeating.
CREDIT CARD FRAUD.
----
Act I: The Transgression
During UFC pay-per-view events, this BWW in Vacaville has a policy of holding a credit card for each table's tab. They said they've had people dine & dash during events. Fine, I gave them my AmEx card.
After watching UFC144 here on 2/25/2012 with a couple friends & the girlfriend, right before leaving, we paid for our total food & drink tab with cash.
Later, I noticed a charge to my AmEx card for over $180 from this BWW in Vacaville for the same food & drink that had been paid for with cash. I did not authorize this charge to my card. I never received a credit card receipt for this charge.
After the fact, I managed to get a copy of the receipt from BWW management. The total included a $40 tip. The $40 tip & the total charge amount were both written in handwriting that doesn't even remotely resemble my handwriting. The signature on the receipt looked absolutely nothing like my signature.
Shady.
----
Act II: A Call to Action
I spoke to 3 different managers at the Vacaville BWW on 3 different occasions about the false charge to my AmEx card. I informed each of them of how our purchases had been paid for with cash & then also charged to my card. I explained to them, in great detail & with documentation, how the writing & signature on the transaction receipt was not mine.
All 3 managers had, basically, the same reply: they said they couldn't confirm that the bill was paid for with cash; they went to great lengths to emphasize that the receipt showed that a lot of alcohol had been purchased; they tried to imply that I had so much to drink that I didn't remember authorizing the charge; & ,finally, they said that BWW management did not refund credit transactions. Really?
Shady.
----
Act III: Vindication
Considering that Vacaville BWW management's idea of customer service was to tell me, to my face, that I was a drunkard with dementia, I called American Express. Unlike BWW, American Express customer service was understanding & helpful. They said they would handle it.
& handle it they did. Just yesterday I got the letter from American Express letting me know that Buffalo Wild Wings has refunded my American Express account for the full amount that I was fraudulently charged. To the managers at the Vacaville BWW, all I have to say is: I'm right. You're wrong. Now, pay up, sucker!
Hmmm, I feel a little gloating is completely appropriate in this situation...
As the wise Daniel Tosh has been known to say at times like this, "na-na na-na boo-boo, stick your head in doo-doo!"
----
Epilogue:
If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I also strongly recommend to everyone not to ever come to this place for any reason. To be blunt, it's not worth coming to the Vacaville Buffalo Wild Wings & risk being a victim of CREDIT CARD FRAUD.
A great place to watch the game(s), with great service. The food product however, sucks donkey balls.
+ Positives
+ An abundance of flat screens, big screens, projector screens, etc.
+ Our server was enthusiastic and willing to accomodate, including setting up one of the screens so that we could better view the Kings' game.
+ A nice list of sauces for the wings.
- Negatives
- The wings are a rip off. We all know that wings typically consist of 3 sections. With BWW, a drumette is considered 1 wing count, and the flat part of the wing is considered 1 wing count. Has ampuating chickens become costly all of a sudden?
- Their glorious nachos consisted had that 7-11 cheese sauce in it. We let our server know about the cheese sauce, and she gladly replaced our order with something else.
1 star for the great service from great people. 1 star for the wall to wall video. Too bad for the rest. For corporate chow, we'll just head on out to Chevy's next time we're in Vacaville.
Decent wings and good service. Traditional wings are 50 cents each on Tuesdays!
Parmesan Garlic: Tasted like the wing was tossed in Italian dressing with an added pinch of parmesan. I expected more parmesan and garlic flavor.
Buffalo (mild): Your good ol' standard buffalo wing.
Salt & Vinegar: I was super excited when I saw this flavor. The Salt & Pepper dry rub seasoning was spot on but I think it belongs on a crunchy potato chip.
Potato Wedges: I love the sour cream & chive flavor, and these wedges are even better topped with shredded cheese.
The restaurant is basically one giant cafeteria square room with giant tvs and sports memorabilia covering the walls. There's something about the seating/cafeteria feel that I don't like. But if you have to handle your business in the bathroom after loading up on hot wings, they have the right kind of bathrooms for unloading.
Sensory Over Load here! lol .......This place is a bit much...imagine a night club but with  wings and instead of music its TVs...... you have to  literally shout to have a conversastion with the person next to you....lol
The wait staff always  looks super stressed out(i bet they have a fast turn over there)... The food takes forever to come out even if you only order one thing... I mean like 20 mins for a hotdog......lol
The food is WAY over priced... who came up with these prices? 10 bucks for like 8 wings its like more than a dollar a wing there...... Â I got the Hotdog and fries last time and no drink cost me 10 bucks.....lol Microwaved small hot dog and tiny portion of fries no drink 10 bucks?? really?? Â Thats laughable really......
So if you like over priced cheap food with tons of load tv's blaring with slow service you will love This place.........lol
In the battle for the best wing, how does BWW fair?
I think the contenders are: Hooters, Wing Stop, & BWW. Â This is the trifecta. Â
SIZE MATTERS: Â Hooters' wings are the biggest.
GIVE ME HEAT: Â BWW mango habenero (part of their fire-hydrant hot pack) makes your mouth burn for minutes! Â If you were in the South Bay, I'd throw in Cluck-U if we were judging heat.
GIVE ME FLAVOR: Â I choose you, Wing Stop. Â Lemon pepper, garlic parm, hawaiian, buffalo, oh my!
SIDE AFFAIR: Â If you're going to do it, do it right. Â Its a toss up for 1st place: Â Thanks Hooters for the cheesy tater tots & fried pickles. Â Thanks WS for the sweet fries and soft butter bread!
If we're talking standard wing alone - I choose Hooters. Â
In terms of experience:
*If you want to watch a game, want to be around sports-enthusiasts and bandwagon-ers, and are passing the Vacaville area - Go BWW.
*If you want to pick up wings and go home, grab Wing Stop.
*If you want to watch a game, hang out with friends, get some attention from the servers, and satisfy your wing-craving - Go Hooters.
