My husband went here today and got take-out. It was all good. We had ground beef tacos, a chicken and cheese tamale, Spanish rice, refried beans and a Salvadoran tamale. Everything was excellent except the rice was a little tough like it was little undercooked or just dried out a bit but still edible and very tasty. Just would have liked some of it a little softer. The tacos were wonderful. Crisp shells and a little red cabbage and carrot slivers with lettuce too, tomato, sour cream, cheese, just enough of the extras and a generous portion of seasoned ground beef that was very savory and so good. Tamale in a corn husk, masa so moist and good, seasoned chicken with pepper and cheese, just delicious. The beans were smooth for the most part with a few beans intact, soft and a bit salty, just the right consistency really, and really good. My husband liked the Salvadoran tamale - me not so much. It was prettily wrapped in leaves, a flour-like or different from a regular tamale outer cocoon and inside was a little green pepper of some type, white potato, chicken, chickpeas, all seasoned well and traditionally. We were very happy with our food and enjoyed the ease of getting there and back since we live only a few miles away. They have a sit down area and a little store too, and my husband saw a few folks in here enjoying the food, all nodding and telling him it was all good. They are right and we had a great lunch today.
