I'm not saying this is a true '4-star' restaurant, but it should receive props for what it is...a great, little, local place that can serve up a perfect traditional grilled cheese, sweet tea, and tasty home fries. Let's face it, Bloomington is blessed with an abundant supply of bourgeoisie food. You are not going to get locally-roasted coffee, Indiana maple syrup, a vegetarian-separated fryer, or organic milk for your coffee - you will get eggs cooked to absolute perfection, potatoes that are both soft and crispy, and you will do this at a great price. Because of this, I think it deserves 4 stars.
Logistic Details: The restaurant is on one end of the building and the lounge is on the other. Although the restaurant is smoke-free, some smoke can waft down the hall from the lounge - so if you are allergic, this might not be the place for you - that being said, I am smoke-sensitive but was fine. Although I paid in cash, I did see a credit card machine. I don't know the hours but they are opened on Sundays, for breakfast and also in the evening for the music acts in the lounge. Parking is plentiful.
