The Rail

I gotta admit, I have a deep love for this place. I have traveled...a lot...and one of the few things I felt Bloomington needed was tapas and great cocktails...not just any, but Sazerac (look it up, you'll find almost no where outside of New Orleans that's heard of it nonetheless serves it). Well, that's The Rail: Small plates and OUTSTANDING cocktails. It's a little (just slightly) off the usual barhopping path, but boy is it worth it!

IMPORTANT: There's specials written on the board, including the Creme Brule of the Day. It's worth it to go just to see what the chef has whipped up and it is always brilliant!

Great appetizers that could easily be a meal all at a very reasonable price. Very nice bartenders that serve prohibition style drinks along with many others drinks.No TVs!!
Been back bout 5 times since my first time. This is my new favorite place to eat and drink I definitely recommend ! The John Jameson drink is fuckin ridiculous along with some lamb sliders u can't go wrong.
