Mancino's Pizza & Grinders

Excellent BBQ, have been eating here for years.  It takes a little while to get your food, but worth it!

Pretty sure Bloomington is pretty behind the times in regards to Yelp or otherwise this place would be reviewed much more heavily.

Went to IU from fall '01 to spring '05 and loved every minute of it. One of my favorite traditions was to skip class, order an "18 Turkey Sub from mancino's, pop in a few episodes of a season of 24 I hadn't seen yet and just sit there for hours.  Seriously, there are few things I crave more in life than a Mancino's sub. And I live in NY where there's a deli every 5 feet.

What makes these subs so special is the way they finish them. They make pizzas too and right before the sub is done, they put the cheese on top and then send the whole thing through the pizza oven where the cheese melts and the bread toasts up nicely. Nothing like it. Anywhere. If you are stopping in Bloomington and are looking for a cheap, quick meal, go straight to Mancino's and thank me later.

Only had the carry out, never been there. It was pretty decent. Nothing spectacular. I would try it again though with a different sandwhich.
