Interesting little place, and I mean little. Very creative menu, well prepared & presented. Good wait staff.

Feast Bakery Café, one of my favorite American restaurants, which is located on the crossroad of Hillside Drive and Henderson Street. There are 7 bus line will be stop by but it is kind of hard to get there for those people who do not drive.

I was been there for couple time since I was living a block away from there. I kind of know what they are offering on their menu, however, it doesn't mean they won't change their menu. Especially for the dessert items, they are always-changing the selections. I got surprise because they will offer different types of dessert. (Sometimes, the dessert would be seasonal selection) It's an amazing and inventive place for people who truly love good food. Their soups, like Moroccan soups, curry soups, leek, tomato, and every kind you could imagine.  Their coffee, such as, Macchiato, Latte, Cappuccino that bears a passing resemblance to the Italian original (but the size is a weight bigger, the tastes are more sweets and creamy than what I got in Italy)

The foods they are offered are tasty, minimalist, and beautifully presented. The Steak Caesar Salad is my favorites, the medium rare steak slices are arranged over Bibb lettuce, fried house bread and served with scratch Caesar dressing and Parmesan cheese for a hearty main-dish salad. When I chewing vegetables, the tastes like mixed with fresh vegetable, little bit beef sauce and a bit Parmesan cheese together. I love it so much than others.

Moreover, need to be prepared to pay just a tad more than we usually pay for there premium items, because the price range is high if compare the meal offered in the others' restaurant (should be higher around $0.5 to $2 higher than others, it depends).

At first impression, it is very organic feeling and I greeted by a very temptations setup of sweets. They do have outdoors service during the summer and the earlier fall season, which is really nice place to enjoy the beautiful wealth and handout with friends. Sometimes, the place is quiet and with services is friendly. However, it is hard to get in because of the limited seating in the tiny serves room. In the other words, it is crowded during the busy timing (dinner time or weekend), and the service is not that good as usual.

    one word: Tamales!!!

There are so few places that make good tamales, and this is one of them.  Also, their burgers are great.  I haven't had a chance to try their baked goods/pastries, but after reading some reviews I feel like I need to go back and try them!  Definitely agree it's kind of far out, but god is it good.  A lot of the other things in their menu are pretty expensive; I still need to go back and see if these prices are justified.
