The Players Pub

This is where all the locals go.  Not much of a college feel, but its an old dive bar with some local artists.  The food is ok pub fare and the beer selection is average.

Second time here.
Started with the portabella soup. Just as awesome as my first visit.

First time I was here everyone raved about the Bayou Bowl, but I'd already ordered. This time I was looking forward to trying it.
It was fabulous. I can't recommend it enough.

After enjoying the live band for a couple hours I decided to try some dessert since I heard they made all of them in house.

Chocolate cake with peanut butter cream icing, a la mode.

Everything was 10 kinds of awesome.

The only thing I can find wrong with the place is that it's in Bloomington and I live in Indy.
Which is no fault of theirs.

I look forward to my next visit!

I completely agree with everything Ken K said, and i dont think i have much to add, it is the best bar i bloominton that you have never been to, and if you love live music from real local bands, this is your place, I am only sad that i didnt discover this place earlier.
