Crazy Horse

Crazy Horse has a very old pub kind of feeling similar to the Alley Bar and the Irish Lion next door. All three of these bars are relatively similar and have the same crowd. It's an okay place for drinks, but don't go for the food.

Good, reasonable, flavorful food!  Hubby and I do not do alcohol, so we go there for the food---the cajun is nicely sliced, almost a London broil style, with generous sides---black bean salsa and cajun slaw were wonderful---mac n cheese fine, etc.  Menu is diverse and quite a nice surprise for a college town bar...comfortable atmosphere...good service.

True, this place is borderline dive bar. So, I base my 4 stars on a sliding scale. That said, I think this is a great place to go for a beer, burger and a good time. I've been there in the middle of the weekday for a lazy lunch and on a busy Saturday night with a loud group of friends. In any situation, I've always had fun, friendly attentive service and good bar food. Their burgers are big and greasy, just how I like em. And their cheese-sticks are a whole meal for 2 people... easily. I always have a good time, and will definitely be back with my friends. They have great, friendly bar-staff. It's a good place to go for a change from the blaring noise of Kilroy's.
