going here i was a little skeptical because of the location but once inside i completely forgot i was in south Everett. the service was fast and friendly. the beer was decent priced. the food was your run of the mill bar food burger with a Costco patty and i had a rueben that i would order again with out complaints.
the bar its self was CLEAN AND BIG. i will be going back here, best local sports bar i have found in quite some time.
SOOOO many TVs!! Like, whoa.
Beer was good. Service was friendly.
And when the bartenderess made the wrong drink, she brought me the right one without batting an eye. And when our party doubled in size, she encouraged us to move the tables around to fit. I dig it.
The giant ordered the jalapeno poppers and they looked pretty legit.
I would go back here 100%.
The Cactus Moon is a great local sports bar. A lot of Sports on TVs, darts, games, and noise!
SUPER drinks... Ask for the bucket size! (I don't think they charge anything different, just more booze)
BEST CHICKEN WINGS!!! I order mine dry (sauce on the side) with blue cheese & ranch. Order by the pound! These really are the best I've had :)
Personally NOT a fan of Karaoke. Otherwise 5 stars :)
Not bad Cactus Moon Saloon. Not bad.
We don't often go to Sports Bar but a hot trivia night with some great friends lead us to here. They have a great space. Its pretty big and lots of room for groups of people. The food was not bad a bit pricy for what it was but we were okay with it for occasion. The service was cute and nice. They were attentive and made sure we were taken care of. The people who go there were really friendly too. The music was really eclectic and we enjoyed the Trivia!
oh The huge blender-looking -thing of beer that they sit on your table, looks like it can take care of a large party pretty easily. That was pretty amazing.
Went last night for a roller derby after party. Pretty much seemed like your standard sports bar. What was great though was that they were able to accommodate a pretty large amount of people. Derby after parties are good business and we appreciate support from the local community. Had a sampler appetizer platter and it was , decent, standard bar food. Had good customer service at the bar despite the place being extremely busy.
Review Source:Stopped in here Friday 6/10/11 for Breakfast.
I had read reviews saying how good their Biscuits and gravy were.
Sadly I didn't agree with the other reviewer.
The Saloon as a Sports Bar looks AWESOME and I can't wait to come back here to get my drink on.
Their menu was pretty good and I'm sure they have great omelette's and scrambles but this is about the biscuits and gravy ...
Service was OK not super fast not super slow.
They had a decent amount of people in the place at 9am on a Friday morning.
I placed my order and it came out in a reasonable amount of time.
My plate was covered with the standard two biscuits cut in half and well covered with Gravy. So good so far.
The Biscuits and the Gravy were warm to hot.
The temperature was almost perfect.
On to the taste.
I don't like canned gravy.
Chef's Mate from Costco leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
Sadly this is what it tasted like.
If i was to guess the Biscuits AND the Gravy are from Costco or some other restaurant supply store so its just a heat and serve item for them. Quick and easy for them ... bleh tasting for me.
I might return for breakfast but not for the Biscuits and Gravy!
We're not really into Sports Bars, but we were looking for a new place to go..so my husband found this place right here are Yelp, so we thought we would give it a try...and we did, 3 times over Memorial weekend. First was Friday night.. Hubby order their Prime Rib Special. Nice steak, a huge baked potato, salad bar and six fried prawns, all for $13.95. I ordered the Wings, and a Cesar Salad. The wings are served naked with sauce on the side, very tasty. The salad was huge, more than I could eat, and very good. Next time, I'll take his prawns and salad bar..and we'll be set. They pour a very good drink..at a good price.
Sunday we went for breakfast. I got the veggie/cheese omelet, with hash browns, and a biscuit. One of the best breakfasts I have had in a Long time. The omelet was just the right size, (3 eggs) the hash browns were crispy, and the biscuit was light and fluffy. Hubby had the Burger steak, and pretty much cleaned the plate.
Monday, we went again..to lazy to cook at home. M-F they have breakfast specials for $3.95. I had one egg, to hotcakes, a slice of bacon, and one link. The pancakes were perfect..just the right size, about 4 inches..not the ones that are as big as your head. Egg was cooked just right, and the sausage and bacon were good also. Hubby had the biscuits and gravy with two eggs. The gravy is over the top good. Perfect size breakfast, for a great price.
We have found a new place to go!! YAHOO!
The staff, is very friendly. The Bar itself is very clean, and bright. We really enjoyed our selves.
This place has a lot of great things going for it: Â
-Fabulous food
-Great staff
-Good prices
-Decent crowd just looking to relax, watch sports and have a good time
-Clean
-Lots of TV's, trivia, lots of dart boards....for those who like these things
This is a great place to meet a friend for Happy Hour or to go out with a group of friends on a weekend night. Â They have absolutely awesome food. Â The male cook with the ponytail can cook the best burger and he definately takes the time to make the food incredible. Â Best burgers, coldest beer. Â
Thursdays are Thirsty Thursdays so they have the 24 oz. cans of beer for less than $4. Â That can be a lot of beer on one round but it is great to order a 24 oz and 2 pint glasses to share with a friend.
For a sports bar in Everett its actually pretty bright and clean. The place has a better TV setup than I've seen anywhere... seriously its almost like a Fox Sports bar in there! Â The waitresses could be cuter, sorry but that should kind of be a prerequisite for working at a sports bar. That said, they are really good waitresses and very attentive. Drinks are cheap and breakfast on Sunday morning during the 10am football games is only $10 and includes unlimited visits to the omelet bar, biscuits and gravy, ham, sausage, muffins, etc. Â Again, nothing fancy, but a great place to watch just about any sporting event you can imagine.
Review Source:Lots of TVs to watch all the big games. Â Drinks are strong and very affordable. Â Breakfast is really good if you are up early, or still out from the night before and are looking for some food! Â Everything is made fresh, and Cactus Moon always has food specials.
Bar staff is really friendly, except for the joke of a "security" guy checking ID's at the door.
They have a few pool tables and about a dozen dart boards if you are looking for more entertainment other then drinking...
This place is usually chode central. Places that attract this type of crowd are typically one star, and the bartenders aren't very good either. Got a little bit of attitude from one (which was unusual for up here).
They do have a lot of TVs to watch sports on, and it might be a different and much better crowd during a sporting event, but I doubt it. You can get good TVs at most bars, anyway. Food wasn't particularly great, either. Had some fries and other appetizers, and it wasn't anything to write home about.
Extra star because the drinks were super stiff, and I can appreciate that.
I come here a lot. It doesn't look like much from the outside but walk in and you are in sports heaven. 31 HD TV's everywhere. Nice selection of beer. They have all my favorite tequilas. And the staff is very friendly. I've eaten here quite a bit and the food is good. Even the southwest chicken salad. Try this place out if you're in the area, you won't be disappointed.
Review Source:When I lived in Everett this was one of my favorite places to go. Â Tons of TV's for sports action, along with a plethora of pool tables.
I loved the bar staff. Â Being a regular in any establishment is fun, and they were always enjoyable, and made the experience tons of fun. Â When I come up to visit they still comment on losing my debt card -- which they made up for.
The food is standard bar food. Â It's not bad. Â I tend to keep with the wings, usually naked, but the sauces are good as well. Â
Just a great place to go grab a drink after a long day of work.
I only know about this place because a friend of mine used to live very close to Cactus Moon Saloon and he has been there every Sunday, for probably about 15 years, during the NFL season to see the Miami Dolphins games. When The Dolphins are playing and are not on local Television, Cactus Moon has the game on. They have a very impressive selection of sporting events on their many big and small screen TVs. It's a busy place when games are on, so parking can be an issue at times. The food is typical Sports Bar fare. The staff is very attentive and above average for a sports bar. It also seems to have a nice setting for Karaoke with the stage is set up in the back of the long space. I haven't been there for Karaoke yet, but keep meaning to go there on a Karaoke night. Â I'm a little concerned about visiting there at night, because the neighborhood around there has a problem with crime and some gang activity. Â But, heck, just set your alarm, don't loiter, and maybe wear your bullet proof vest and you'll probably be alright.
